This house and location was wonderful, but it should never have been on the market to rent. Folly beach is rebuilding the beach and construction occurred 24/7. The tractors ran all night and the beeping from them backing up kept us up all night. You could feel the vibrations from them plowing the sand. Instead of having a relaxing week we literally are sick, exhausted, stressed. The rental company, who were very nice and easy to work with comp'd us a night, but they should have moved us or comp'd the entire trip minus cleaning etc.
If I wasn't with my family we would have left the first night.

Enjoyed the oceanfront home and short walk to the pier and restaurants. Would stay at this property again, my parents absolutely loved the screened, oceanfront porch. My OceanRental was great, very informative!

House was very clean, and access to the beach was great.
If I had to say anything that was wrong, it would be there were lightbulbs missing or burned out and batteries dead in remotes. I emailed the property manager and they brought some batteries but did not replace any bulbs.
Overall it was a nice stay for my family.

Local family craving ocean air!! This home was perfectly comfortable, incredibly spacious, and the view was unbelievable. To be so close to all the “action” of Folly it was hidden, private, and quiet!

Wonderful location with direct access to the beach and walking to restaurants and shops. Very spacious and lovely outdoor screened in porch overlooking the beach that was perfect for morning yoga and relaxing throughout the day. Unfortunate issue with water going out, but the contact at property management, Samantha, was absolutely responsive, kind, and attentive. We were unable to get the water fixed before we checked out, but the property owner refunded partial days stay which was much appreciated. Cannot beat the location or attentiveness of rental management service. Do bring own shampoo as I missed this was not included in the rental and forgot ours...not much shopping choice for such in near vacinity. Would highly recommend the property.

The property was located in a great area, steps to the beach and walkable to downtown. It was clean, the beds comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Loved the huge island and seating spaces.

Wonderful beach front location. Literally 60 seconds walk from the beach. The house is spacious and clean with everything we needed. Management company reached out to check on us and responded to every question quickly. Perfect short vacation before Christmas. Would love to return in the summer although price may be too high for such great property in peak season.

From the moment we arrived, until we departed, our stay was perfect. Check-in/check-out was a breeze. The home was spotless, in fact I would have to say in all my travels, perhaps the most clean home we have stayed in. Our morning walks (with coffee in hand) were only a few steps to the beachfront. The sunrises were breathtaking! The kitchen was stocked with necessary items for us to prepare breakfast, as we chose to enjoy several of the local restaurants for lunch/dinner. This is truly a Gem on the Beach!

My family literally had our Best Vacation Ever at this beautiful home on Folly Beach! The four bedrooms were perfect for all 7 guests and we spent a majority of our time in the home on the back screened in porch facing the ocean. The ocean was at our back door... which was ridiculously convenient and the town was just two blocks away. We could not be happier with our stay and plan on coming back every year!

This beachfront home was perfect for our spring break week away. A HUGE greatroom with well-appointed kitchen, plus four good sized bedrooms was perfect for our extended family. The screened in porch is larger than it appeared to me in the photos. The boardwalk went straight out to the sand. A great stay.

This house was absolutely perfect for our multi-family beach vacation! The house is spacious and well appointed. The bedrooms were large enough to accommodate a travel crib and an inflatable toddler mattress, so everyone was able to sleep comfortably. The great room was enormous with plenty of room for the littles to play, and the outdoor porch perfect for everyone to gather together and enjoy the sea breezes. The older children loved the location because they could walk to Center Street for morning coffees and boba, or to Bert's for hot dogs and ice cream. Thankfully, even though the house is close to the main drag, it is extremely quiet at night and we had no trouble finding ample space on the beach. We rented golf carts to easily ride to the Washout for surf or the Morris Island lighthouse. We were so pleased with this house, we plan to make this a yearly vacation to see extended family and enjoy beautiful Folly Beach.

This house was perfect for 3 couples. We had plenty of room and loved the location. We loved being right on the beach and really enjoyed the large screened in back deck. We walked to breakfast every morning at Rita's Seaside Grill or the Lost Dog Cafe. We were only about 25 minutes by car to Charleston . We were also happy to have 2 parking spaces since we drove and had 2 cars and street parking was pretty full every day. The only problem we had was a broken dishwasher that was unable to be replaced during our week long stay.

Very comfortable and spacious. The ocean-side porch is a wonderful place to just relax, watch sunrise and all the beach activity. Cleaning crew was less than thorough. However we wiped down everything, baths and kitchen, with disinfecting wipes upon arrival mainly in avoidance of Covid.. All in all, it was a most pleasant vacation in a luxurious home.

Beautiful house with plenty of room. The sliding doors were very hard to open and a board at the end of the walkway to beach needs repaired.

The house was great. Great location, close to the pier with a spectacular screened porch with wonderful ocean views. Very well equipped home.
There was some confusion about the door code to use for access, but the issue was resolved quickly.
Biggest problem was the gas grill. I would consider it sub-standard for the price we were paying.
Also had issues with getting hot water in 2 bathroom sinks & the kitchen sinks.. Had to turn on the hot water in the shower/tub to get warm water in the bathroom sinks, & had to run the dishwasher to get warm water in the kitchen sinks.

Great location. Nice home. Needs some basic upkeep for the price. Master shower has mold all in caulking that could not be removed by re cleaning. Main bathroom sink does not drain unless you jiggle it. No toilet paper holder in main bathroom. Screened in pprch has boards tacked on it to keep screas in place. Etc Etc Had to call for all these items to get them fixed. For the price they could pay attention to the details. Looks as though they do the least to keep it rentable.

Overall a good property and experience but in need of some updates. All but one chair from the table and chairs on screened in porch in bad shape. However, the screened in porch itself was a great space. Living room furniture also dated - back of one of the chairs was ripped and recliners squeaky. Also in need of additional wine glasses, only 3 and very mismatched. Neighbors across the street on the last night of our stay were very loud and blasting music but stopped eventually due to the noise ordinance. It would have been helpful to have seen a virtual tour or a more detailed description of the house to have a better idea of the layout. Luckily, the open floor plan worked well for our group. First bedroom facing the street was very warm even with vents open and fan running. Great location and walkable to all shops and restaurants.

We loved this house! The location, right on the beach was amazing and we really enjoyed being walking distance to the main drag. The house was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. We especially loved the screened in porch.

Fantastic house in a fantastic location. Less than 5 minute walk to anything Folly Beach has to offer and 25 minute drive to downtown Charleston. Would stay again without a doubt.
One Note/Complaint : Cable TV connection on living room television constantly cut out making it impossible to watch. Was only my wife and I so we used our bedroom TV instead but would've been a problem if staying with more people. Needs to be fixed.

From start to finish it was fantastic! Location,location, location. Don't stay anywhere else, beach right out your backdoor. Town of Folly Beach is walkable (3-4 blocks) & has something for everybody. Wonderful experience for all of us.
