Everything as advertised, only downside was having to procure off site parking for a second vehicle, while there was ample space at the rental property.

We stayed 2 nights and had the most relaxing time. The bikes were a great way to see Venture Out area and go see the sunrise by the boat launch.
The house was as pictured and comfortable. We did have a couple of minor issues that the owners were quick to respond.
We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Janet & Jerrys home! The location was great to go up and down the island and see it all. The house was in a great location beautiful views on the water with bikes and kayaks.The amenities in the community were great and people were so friendly. Jerry and janet were super great in responding in a few minutes with any questions we had. We will be back !!!

We had an awesome time. Great set up to bring your boat and clean it up afterwards. The water wasn’t as pretty as usual but no fault of theirs. Would use it again. Thank you for opening your house to us.

Totally enjoyed our stay. House was clean and neat. Both beds were super comfortable and the sheets were soft and smooth. Loved watching the sunrise every morning on the porch. Some stemware would have been nice...wine glasses etc.

This property ticked all the boxes for my family. We enjoyed the amenities at Venture Out, kids loved the pool. The kitchen sink needs a little tweek to help with water pressure, but this did not impact our stay. Overall was a great stay and the property served us well as a base of operations for our visiting the Florida Keys!

The property was a bit tired. Stains on the bedroom drawers, paint needed in several places, a water leak coming from the garage ceiling, faucet in the kitchen didn’t work well. Close to Key West.

Friendly staff and residents and a great location with many wonderful places to eat and nearby grocery store. Especially enjoyed the bikes provided at our residence and the morning water aerobics in the community heated pool. Also enjoyed the Sunday church service and although we did not make use of, they have a nice pickleball and tennis court. The house could use some updates and minor repairs, put over all was a nice place that met our needs. Beds were very comfortable, but the water pressure at the kitchen faucet was barely a trickle and the shower pressure was not much better.

Wonderful clean house in gated community with beautiful heated community pool. Loved having the bikes to bike around the community. We didn’t get the opportunity to use the kayaks but they were in great condition. Be sure to check the community board for activities. There was yoga and a pancake breakfast. The store had great prices. We bought a locally made key lime pie that was delicious for less than key west prices. And the store employee gave us a great local restaurant recommendation. The property owners responded immediately to all our questions. Thanks for making our stay great!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean and well-appointed. The accommodations and amenities were great. We brought our own bikes so did not use the ones provided. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watching the sunrise and sunsets. I would recommend this rental for a nice place in The Keys. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Key West but it is worth the drive!

This was a great place and we had a great experience. The “extra vehicle and trailer” parking was a little bit of a bear but that was known:explained in advance of arrival so it was expected. This place was perfect for what we needed/wanted. Highly recommend.

EXACTLY the property we needed
We needed a base for our visit to Dry Tortugas National Park that would be clean, cool, and close to the Freedom Ferry dock in Key West. This property hit all of those marks and more. The owners were very pleasant and responded immediately to our booking and questions; they really went out of their way to make sure we were happy during our stay. Because our stay was so short (2 nights), we didn't have a chance to use many of the amenities of the house (kayaks, bikes, etc.). We did visit the community pool on the evening we arrived, and it was fantastic--we had it all to ourselves! We also visited the small convenience store, and it had the fill-in items we needed (milk, half & half) and some extras (Key lime pie!).
We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Janet, for taking such good care of us!

Everything we needed and more
Extremely clean with loads of amenities. We were busy with family events outside of our vacation rental. So, as a result we didn’t spend any time inside the complex. We did manage to launch the provided kayaks though, and that was so much fun!!

Perfect Getaway!
This home was perfect. It was super clean, the furniture & beds were very comfortable and exactly as pictured. The water pressure was great and we didn’t run out of hot water taking 4 consecutive showers. The washer and dryer was really hand. The neighborhood was quiet and it was a short walk or bike ride to the pool, tennis, & pickle ball area. We found everyone to be so friendly and welcoming. Check- in took about 30 min - a little longer than we expected. There were convenient places to eat nearby and then were able to reheat leftovers in the kitchen. There was plenty of ice in the freezer and the blender was handy for smoothies that were enjoyed sitting outside watching the birds. Would stay here again and I highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy a winter getaway!
