Fabulous location for a relaxing, quiet weekend away.

My wife and I loved everything about the property, especially that it was secure and pet friendly. So close to the beach you could hear the waves at night. They had everything you could ask for and more. HIghly recommend this property if you have small dogs and we will definitely be going back.

We loved our stay at Pearly Shells Beach Cottage! This cozy and very well eqipped cottage had everything we needed. The yard fully fenced for our dogs and wonderful outdoor deck which we enjoyed morning and evenings. Close walking distance to shops and the beach. A real gem! Tom was so friendly and welcoming along with all the locals here, such a great place to stay!

We had a great time at Pearly Shells. The house is lovely and was very clean when we arrived. Very close to the beach. The weather wasn't the best when we stayed but we were still able to sit outside on the lovely verandah. Gemma and Rani the German Shepherds loved their holiday too. Just a suggestion. You need some oven mitts or maybe there was some and I just couldn't find them. Also something under the casters on the bed to stop it moving. We will definitely be back though.

This was exactly what I wanted. It was very clean, however the air freshers were a bit too much but the place was clean and I appreciate that more. The beach house was very well equiped with towels, beach towels, kitchen equipment and even things to take to the beach. It was dog friendly and the beach was minutes away. You can hear the waves on the deck. It was a great weekend away. Would definitely return.

Nice getaway with the dogs had luck with the weather this time.

Stayed for a few days with elderly parents and their little dog- It was perfect. All the details are covered- there was plenty of blankets, pillows and towels, including beach towels. The kitchen was well equipped with beyond the basics making it truly useful. The outdoor area was fabulous, well protected and comfortable. The yard is securely fenced for our little Doggo. There was lots of little extras that get you out of trouble if you forgot something. Brilliant for a few days or a couple of weeks

Ever was fantastic from the point of payment down to Check out, Only small Issue my wife and I had, the air fragrance was a HUGE slap in the face, we had to turn is off and open the house for 20min before comfortably walking in... Other than that, Very close too beach, and close to shops..

Small but cozy cottage that allowed me to bring my small dog and have him there knowing he was safe. The cottage had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend

Nice and close to the beach and a short drive to the shops. The out door shower is a great idea for after the beach. We didn't want for anything. Really appreciated the welcome wine and chocolate, a nice touch.

We enjoyed beach house. Very quiet and comfortable. Nice little walk to the beach and to town. Very cool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Pearly Shells. This would have to be the cleanest holiday rental I have stayed at with every utensil and amenity thought of. The outdoor shower with hot water was an added bonus. The weather was perfect all week and our pooch loved running around the yard. We will be back!

It was a beautiful house with lovely setup . All the needs for daily use were provided. Just the weather wasn’t so great during our stay otherwise every was fine. Thank you .

Pearly Shells was a delight to stay at! Great location... the beach is just short walk to the end of the street and it's only a 10-15 min walk to the local shops and cafes. The property was very clean and has everything that you need. The doggos loved it too!

We had a great weekend! The property was so clean and tidy. Thank you so much for the surprise Cadbury block and bottle of wine! Our boys loved the backyard and so did our doggie. Beach is at the end of the street which was so handy. A bit windy but the boys still caught a few fish. Had everything we needed at the cottage..a few staples in the cupboard which was nice. Just lacking some BBQ cleaning products/equipment. Very pleasant holiday in a lovely little town. Hope to come back another time!

Whilst this property is acceptable in decor and facilities the problem is, it is advertised as a "Pet Friendly Property. with a request of no pets on the furniture", which is a more than reasonable request. What is not acceptable is when you walk in the door there is a sign stuck on the wall advising you "no pets inside the cottage". This is a major issue when you book a property that is advertised as Pet Friendly and there is no mention of pets not being allowed inside. This needs to be clarified. Had this have been mentioned on Stayz in the description of the property, I would not have booked it! It is also "unusual" to receive an email requesting if there are 2 people staying, please refrain from using the beds in the 2nd bedroom. We rented and paid for a 2-bedroom property. We found the "house rules" were quite overwhelming. This had us on edge for the entire time we were there, concerned that we would do something wrong. Which is most certainly not how you want to feel on a long-awaited weekend away. The property was clean however we found the wine glasses and cutlery were dirty and had to be cleaned before we could use them. Sorry to say it was not an enjoyable time for us and cannot see ourselves coming back.

cabin surrounded by steel fencing and close buildings which is disappointing. however inside is acceptable. if its rated dog friendly as it is, then it is ridiculous to think a family dog is going to be happy outside. this is what they expect from the instruction booklet. this needs clarifying.

We were very unlucky with the weather, thanks La Ninja. Despite this, we had a fabulous time as the house was cozy, dry, and warm. Great location - we did not need to use the car as everything was within walking or cycling distance. Our elderly dog enjoyed the fenced-in yard. The outside shower was a hit with all of us - even in the rain. We are definitely hoping to come back.
