Great Location. Walk to local waterfront bars and restaurants Walk to awesome fish market for fresh fish and stone claws with that morning’s catch. 5 minute drive to Marco Island.

The property is in walking distance to the local restaurants and the local boat launch was very close. It was great to have the boat outside the back door so we could take off on our island ventures around. We would stay again.

The property was VERY clean. It was a great location for a shelling trip out of Goodland as it was a ten minute walk to the boat park departure area. The communication with the property manager was difficult as we did not have a means to obtain the security code for the lock box to obtain key until the day of arrival as we did not have a US phone plan. The music from the bar down the street was quite loud. Linens were limited(only 2 facecloths for a 2 night stay) but the washing machine was very handy. No dish soap. My only suggestion would be for unscented soaps and laundry detergent be used and available.

We really enjoyed walking to Little Bar, Stan’s , Crabby Lady and the bazaar. I enjoyed a morning run into Marco Island. Great place to getaway!

This property was clean and inviting. perfect for 3-4 people. Very close to the Goodland Boat Dock if you want to go shelling with companies that leave from there. Also close to Marco Island dining and shopping.

Wonderful canal property a very short distance from the Goodland boat ramp! The owners were consistently responsive to our inquiries. We enjoyed relaxing at the home after days on the water and exploring Goodland and Marco Island. Highly recommend and plan to return!

This property was clean and well located. We travelled to boat and visit parents on Marco. It was perfect. Communication with the hosts was easy; we will definitely return.

This home was very clean and comfortable. It is also very affordable! Located on a canal so you can fish in your backyard. I was very impressed, and the VRBO folks as well as the owners were easy to work with and very accommodating!

Lots of positive factors for this property. Bed was very comfortable, all appliances worked well, although no ice maker in the fridge. Enjoyed fishing from the dock, and caught some nice snappers. AC/heat worked fine. Owners were quick to respond to any questions. TV viewing was very limited with only basic network channels. Couldn't get ESPN or CNN, which we like and consider basic channels. Maybe cable is very expensive in Goodland. The landscaping and yard was not a big deal to us, but it could use a little improving.

Great location for us. Aside from the loud music from a local bar on Sunday, our stay was pleasant. Quiet street with minimal traffic. If you're looking for a place that's a bit more low key from Marco Island, Goodland is the place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Goodland. It is such a unique little village with a few restaurants, which will cook your fresh catch for you! The unit was very cute, well decorated and comfortable. Thank you Bob and Edwina!

We loved the property and the location was perfect. The house had everything we needed and everything worked perfectly. We had a truly wonderful time! Thank you for your hospitality and flexibility! We were allowed to check-out late and were very grateful for that.

We enjoyed staying in this trailer. It was comfortable and supplied everything we needed, down to laundry detergent and coffee. The view of canal was great. Only one thing I would comment on, the rugs in the bathroom were not clean. Other than that, it was great!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week of relaxation and respite from our fulltime caregiving responsibilities for my 94 year old. Bob and Edwina have a cozy little place that was perfect for us as we loved being able to step out the door and hop on our boat to go fishing for the day. Plus it was an easy walk to Stan's Idle Hour, Little Bar Restaurant, Paradise Found, and the Crabby Lady--all of which were open for business at various times during our stay. We hope to be able to come again! Thanks so much!

We chose this property for its location to some fishing areas we were eager to explore with our boat. The property was clean and exactly as advertised. Boat launch nearby $8, plenty of parking on site for our 21ft boat ( right out back tied off to dock) and then safe on site parking for our truck and trailer. We had 2.5 days of great fishing and the property had everything we needed to clean and cook our keepers. There was plenty of fishing out back if you don’t have a boat and you could easily launch kayaks or paddle boards from the beach area to explore. Lots of sea life to enjoy. The island was very quaint and laid back. Great simple spot to deflate and cast away your worries! Bob and Edwina were great and very responsive when we contacted them a few times with questions.
