Spacious with great location

Don’t be fooled by the simple entrance to the building, or the first 2 sets of stairs. Once you arrive at the Midea Appts you will find a well decorated apartment full of character in an excellent, central location. Very clean and well equipped and super comfortable beds

Lots of stairs, not to be tackled after one too many glasses of wine! :0) Cases have to be carried from the entrance to the old town to the apartment across slippery cobbled streets. Practical shoes are a good idea. This is not territory for heels or flip flops (if it’s raining)

This apartment, as other reviews have indicated, is a great find. A two-floor apartment at the top floor of the building. Quite spacious, with a bedroom on each floor, and a tiny rooftop terrace off the upper bedroom... no view to speak of, as buildings in Old Town Rovinj are very close together, but great for morning coffee unless one wishes to walk to one of the nearby outdoor seaside cafes nearby. Due to her work schedule, our host was not able to meet us but was very friendly by phone (and told us the location of the keys by text). The apartment was very comfortable and spacious with full kitchen. Modern bath, plenty of hot water. Interesting decor, lots of artistic personal touches incorporated into tile and stone work. As we explored and walked in the direction of the Church of St Euphemia (Crkva sv. Eufemija) at the pinnacle of Old Town, we also noted quite a number of other outdoor cafes and small restaurants, and of course many little shops. A wonderful experience.

We had a little trouble locating the building due to Google Maps not working well - cell reception is hampered by the narrow confines of buildings in Old Town. We wandered around for short time on the cobblestone streets trying to get oriented. As such, the booking information needs a bit more detail. For future guests, we offer the following additional information: Walk from the Valdibora parking lot, following the road Ulica Pietra into Old Town approx 200 meters until it turns left by the outdoor market space and becomes the road Ulica Garibaldi (not the roundabout, go all the way until the road turns only left). Then follow the road almost all the way to the seaside plaza, approx 175 meters, where the small boats are harbored. Just before reaching the plaza, note a large but somewhat narrow stone archway on the right. Pass thru the arch and continue walking up the cobblestone street a short distance, approx 50 meters, until reaching the Balbi Bistro. Turn left at Balbi, walk past the outdoor bistro tables and continue aprox 25-30 meters towards and into a narrow passage. The sign for "Masatov Prilaz" is high and on the right, on the building, with a sign for #1 attached to the wall also, near the doorway. The outer doors to the apartment stairway are green. Hint: This is the easiest route to the building from the plaza areas and from Valdibora parking. Just look for the archway.

Great stay at the apartment Midea, amazing location, spacious and very comfortable. The host Mihaela was more than welcome and accommodating. Both bedrooms were very comfortable and with great air flow which was more than is needed during the night, we didnt use the air con at all. Once again thank you Mihaela for the warm welcome and hospitality. We sincerely hope that we'll be back next year.
