Nothing to complain about

Brilliant location and very comfortable bed! The room was lovely with a very nice ensuite. It's difficult to find somewhere as nice as this, the room itself is better than most hotels I've stayed in! Michael gave us some top notch recommendations for breakfast (Kelly's cafe - 10/10!) along with some tips on nice walks along Christchurch quay. The blackout blinds are a great addition to the room - home away from home!

Michael and Suzanne were lovely host, very accommodating and have good knowledge of the area. Room was very comfortable and clean. Slept really well comfy bed and in a quite neighbourhood. Breakfast was healthy and plentiful, and good value.

Wasn't anything I didn't like. If I wanted to be picky, it would be that there was no parking at the property it's self,but this wasn't really a issue since parking was avaliable nearby and was free.

Michael and Sue were terrific hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. Informed us of places to visit which we thoroughly enjoyed and of places to eat, and even booked tables for us. Would highly recommend and will have no problem booking again if we are visiting the area.

We had a 3 night stay at the end of June 2023. The accommodation and been recently re-decorated to a high standard, it was spotlessly clean with a very modern en-suite, complimented with the use of the beautiful garden. Michael and Sue could not be any more welcoming, providing excellent recommendations of local restaurants and ideas of things to do that really enhanced our stay. We loved Christchurch and the surrounding areas and will definitely return and will stay at Bub Lane Cottage. Thank you.

Great host who was professional, polite and engaging. Room was very well presented and appointed. Had all the facilities you could need for a short stay in the Mudeford/ Christchurch area. Extras included the option of fresh milk for tea and coffee; that's rare in my experience. Very good breakfast with good choice of fresh fruit and plenty of toast/ pastries. Fresh coffee in a large pot meant we didn't have to wait for refills. Best BnB we been too in a very long time.

Very clean room & house. Excellent location & very quiet. Bed extremely comfortable. Michael a fantastic to host who has quiet simply thought of everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Plenty of parking In quiet area very nearby.

Michael was a great host. Attention to detail was great. Even chocolates each evening. Easy walk to 2 pubs and not too far from the Quay. Even the weather was good.

Nothing to dislike.

I didn't have the breakfast because there weren't any gluten free options, so I brought my own cereal with me. But the kitchen which I ate in was lovely and welcoming.

The room wasn't dark enough at night, I think there was a light outside which wasn't blocked out by the curtains. I need the room to be dark to sleep, so would suggest some black out blinds behind the curtains provided.

I have just returned from Bub Lane Cottage and had a really good time. Michael is happy to answer any questions you may have and can recommend places to visit and restaurants to eat at. He actually made 2 advance reservations for me and the restaurants were very good. I found Michael to be welcoming and very helpful. He would always check in with you that things were ok, which I thought was a nice touch, and would also enquire what kind of day you had. The continental breakfast was delicious. The Cottage is in a good location with easy access to Christchurch, Mudeford Quay and Avon Beach. Could not fault the bedroom nor the comfortable bed nor the bathroom which had everything you needed. You won't be disappointed staying here. Thank you Michael for such an enjoyable stay!

Amazing host & room. Micheal made our stay very special. The room is very clean and smelt lovely. Local recommended walk was a lovely way to spend the evening.

It was easy walking distance to Mudeford, Christchurch centre and bus stops. Michael was an excellent host, friendly and helpful. He also left us a chocolate every evening, instant Brownie points! 😀 Also the shower and hairdryer were great.

Bub Lane Cottage is a littlel gem in beautiful Mudeford and perfect for our two night stay. Michael really is a superb host and was extremely helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable and Michael provided a delicious breakfast. We would definitely like to return.

Our stay at Bub Lane cottage was fabulous. The room was spacious and very clean. The owner was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. We would definitely stay again 10/10.
