Great place! Great host communication! We had plenty of room for all of us and really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was clean and so nice to relax! We are already looking into rebooking for next year!

We had a great weekend here! We stayed with 4 adults and 2 kids. The house was perfect for what we needed - large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, and very clean. The fireplace, hot tub and pool table made for fun evenings after skiing at Chestnut Mountain. Jeff was a gracious host and made sure we had everything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful log home! The home is very spacious! There are many great amenities that made our stay so enjoyable, such as a large table for all our gatherings, comfy king size beds, hot tub, pool table and more! The wild turkeys were amazing to watch as they strolled through the yard each day. We also really enjoyed having access to the Owner’s Club where we all swam, played basketball, pickle ball and we utilized the great fitness room! There are beautiful hiking trails all around the area. Jeff (the property manager) was great to work with! He was willing to offer many good suggestions for dining places and things to do! What a fabulous trip!!

The cabin was very clean, comfortable, beautiful and well designed. It is much nicer than the pictures show. We will definitely come back and I would highly recommend staying there. You can even see wild turkeys and deer close to the cabin.

We spent a long weekend with our adult children and their significant others at this home. The size was perfect as each of the four bedrooms had a king size bed, which was a nice feature. The house also was very clean and well appointed. Jeff was very responsive and helpful if we had any questions. As we left we commented that we would definitely stay there again.

Our family had an enjoyable long week-end visit to Galena. There were 7 of us all together (3 families). We had plenty of space to enjoy our time together, sharing meals and exploring the area. The 3 separate floors also allowed for individual space. This property is nestled in the beautiful woods for a secluded feeling, yet the activities of Galena were just a short drive away. We enjoyed the screened in porch. Jeff was very responsive to any questions we had. He was great to work with. We would definitely rent this place again if we were in the Galena area.

We visited Galena for a ski trip to chestnut Mountain with family and friends. The house was excellent and exactly as advertised. Lots of room and nice amenities for the kids. We will definitely be back.

We had a real family Thanksgiving here. We saw wild turkeys almost every day and thousands of stars at night. We enjoyed the pool table and the facilities at the owners club which were included really helped entertain the kids while the adults shopped and enjoyed the restaurants downtown. This house is beautifully furnished in a quiet location

Spent a long girls weekend in Galena with 7 HS friends. The house was great for us. We loved having the space where we could all hang out together. (Dining room for meals, living room furniture, outside deck and screen porch and let’s not forget the hot tub). Jeff stopped by to check on everything a couple times during our stay and was great to deal with. It’s hard to get 8 mid 50’s year and women ti agree on things and we all agreed we would rent this house again if we are back in Galena. The only drawback is having to take your garbage to a centralized place for the Galena territory. Just something you need to be aware of and plan for. We loved our time at the house.

We enjoyed our stay in the home. Very clean and comfortable. The only thing we didn’t care for is you needed a pass key to drop off the garbage at the dump site, because then you had to drive back to the home to bring the key back. This must be new because before we dropped off the garbage on the way out.

This house is beautiful! It provided a great place for 7 grammar school friends to enjoy each other and the town of Galena. Location is perfect in a very pretty area. The property manager was excellent. We are definitely planning on returning here for many years to come. Thank you!!

The house, cabin was beautiful and perfect size for a large group. Everything was immaculately clean. Water pressure was amazing! King sized beds were super comfortable! Hot tub was very large and new!

Very quiet and relaxing. The house was perfect for our family gathering. We loved the great room with adjoining dinning room table that allowed 12 to eat meals together. The screened porch was wonderful for both morning coffee and evening chats. The hot tub was state of the art. Furniture and beds accommodated our large group and was very comfortable.

Our family enjoyed the home very much. It was very spacious, clean, well furnished. We enjoyed the back yard with a view of trees, the game room and hot tub. The kitchen/ dining area is large and accommodated our family.

Family Gathering for 60th Birthday
This home is Fantastic as the homeownerJeff has updated everything in the home from the new Stainless Steel Kitchen Appliances with Quartz Countertops to the new Family Room Couches and Kitchen Table and Chairs. All the Beds are new and comfy along with the bedroom furniture. The fun aspect of the home includes a new pool table and new Hot Tub. I can’t state enough how much fun we had for our four day stay with the hiking trails, access to the HOA pool and shopping in Galena. My wife enjoyed the surprise 60th birthday party with our kids and grandkids. She stated it was the best vacation ever! I would highly recommend this home…Thank You Jeff!

Nice place for a weekend stay.
We stayed 3 nights in this property. It was clean and it has a very spacious living area. All the kitchen supplies were there, except cling wrap and aluminum foil. It is about 6 miles from downtown Galena and 7 miles from a Walmart. The property is situated inside a dark sky reserve, so the porch lights need to be turned off after 11pm. We tried to see the milky way, but the nights we were there happened to be mostly cloudy. Guests are asked to dump the garbage at a collection center several minutes away, next to the Thunder Bay Waterfalls. A card from the lodge is required to open the gate to the collection center.
Management responded to our questions almost instantaneously, abd that is a big plus.

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. My only comment would be that we were not notified of requirement to take trash to a facility before leaving. That would have been nice to know ahead of time as we had flights to catch, and needed to add an extra hour into our departure time. Other than that, a delightful visit!

We rented this property for a girls bridal getaway weekend. This is a beautiful property that allows for both group and private space/time. It has been updated with quality appliances and furnishings. Jeff, the property manager is very easy to work with, return calls properly, and made sure we were well prepared for our stay. We were looking for a place for dinner on Saturday and he recommended fried green tomatoes, we absolutely love this place! We used the shuttle to drive our group of 11 and would also highly recommend this. I would suggest if you need noise to sleep, some of the Girls used their phones as the bedrooms do not have TV. We even had deer visit during our stay. You can not go wrong with this cabin.
