20th century farmhouse in the Walburg community
Torna indietro nel tempo e goditi l'atmosfera tranquilla e rilassante della nostra casa con tre camere da letto e 1 1/2 bagno. Goditi il caffè del mattino su uno dei portici mentre ti rilassi e ascolti i suoni tranquilli delle foglie che frusciano nella brezza e le mucche che ruggiscono in lontananza. Guarda gli scoiattoli giocosi, la varietà di uccelli, i cervi occasionali e altri animali selvatici sul prato circostante di 1 acro. I tuoi cani si divertiranno a correre intorno al cortile recintato. Gli osservatori di stelle apprezzeranno vedere le stelle di notte.
Goditi i pasti nella cucina ben fornita o vai al Dale's Essenhaus o al Walburg German Restaurant, entrambi a pochi passi dalla casa. I fine settimana portano musica dal vivo e un'atmosfera familiare per tutte le età per ballare da aprile a ottobre in entrambe le location del loro famoso biergarten.

We have stayed here for several years and really enjoy our time!

We loved Walburg Haus, it has a great yard and the dogs loved playing “go get the ball” . This is a very comfortable home. The farm house is decorated in traditional country America, but with all modern amenities. Location is prefect! A restaurant across the street made it nice when I didn’t want to cook. Many stores and unique restaurants within a few miles, located in a trendy little area! Less than 30 minutes to local attractions. Great home base for a relaxing stay!

Loved staying here! Our family and pups enjoyed our stay. The home had everything and more for all of us to feel comfortable. Plenty of room for the kids and pups to run around and lots of outside seating for the cool mornings and evenings to relax in. Great getaway for family!

After reading reviews about hearing the bar across the street, I was nervous that we would not be getting the quiet weekend away that I had planned, but the music was actually great! We ended up sitting on the porch all three nights we were there enjoying the music and dancing on the porch. Def one of my favorite places that we have ever stayed.

This 20th century farmhouse was amazing! It was fully furnished and had everything we needed and more. Sharon was easy to communicate with and provided all the detailed information we needed in advance, WiFi passwords, directions, etc. Looking forward to our next trip. Thank you, Sharon!!!

The farm house was a perfect location for us and it turned out to be comfortable, convenient and secure. The kids and dog enjoyed the large yard. I appreciated the gorgeous bathroom, comfy livingroom, convenient laundry and well stocked kitchen. Our son took the front bedroom with books and chess board. Our daughter loved the other front room with big antique vanity and chaise lounge. The antiques were really cool touch throughout the home. Sharon was so friendly and helpful. We’d love to come again!

We enjoyed the property and the location was perfect.
It was right across the road from Dales and the Walburg Community Center and just within walking distance of the Mercantile. The property owner was extremely helpful when we were in need of yard tools (rake, hoe, shovel).
Will certainly stay there again if needing a place to stay on our next trip to Walburg.

We've stayed here a few times and each time we love it! Even our kiddos do. The front porch is such a treat every morning to enjoy sunrise or sunset. We had a Cardinal bird visit us this last time each day. It's a great location to get away. Sharon's home has everything we need as always. Will definitely book again.

We have stayed at this property before and once again everything was what we expected. A great place to stay away from the hubbub of Austin. We did find that the cable modem would drop the internet connection on a fairly regular basis but other than that, everything was perfect.

This was our second time staying at this lovely, historic home. The location cannot be beaten. Sitting on the front porch listening to live music and sipping a glass of wine is my idea of a getaway. The house is so cozy and had everything we needed. The host is wonderful, responsive and available if needed. We will stay here each time we visit the area.

The Walburg House was more than we expected. Clean, secure and very comfortable. We have two dogs Nick and Papi they enjoyed the huge beautiful yard. The house was stocked with everything that we needed. We enjoyed the Christmas lights wrapped around both porches. We chose this home for the location and it was perfect. Very close to Georgetown. We would visit the property again. Sharon was great!

We attend the Walburg German Festival every Labor Day weekend. This was the first place we have found within walking distance. It was absolutely wonderful. The place was large, the kitchen well organized, and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

We stayed for a writing retreat and fell in love with the house and property. It's beautiful and was the perfect place to escape to. A bar with live music is directly across the street--and a hopping good time. And another German restaurant is just down the block and so tasty. The owners were very easy to get in touch with and super helpful. Highly recommend!

Charming Farmhouse
We had an incredible stay over the weekend… the house was charming and had plenty of room for 2 couples and 2 teenagers. We were able to bring our2 small dogs, which was so nice for they have a fenced in yard that was quite spacious and the covered patios created a pleasant place to sit and watch them play. The dining room table served as place we all ate and even played family games like dominoes and Uno. It had everything we needed to cook a meal for dinner and breakfast, and the German restaurant across the street was really great too. They have live music on the weekends but they stop playing around 10 and then it was just quiet. We really enjoyed this place and would definitely stay again. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this quaint restored gem!

Walburg House
Loved staying at this 1900's farm house. It reminded my wife and I of staying at our grandparents houses back when we were kids in the 50's. Lots of beautiful old furniture and cabinets furnished with old pictures and dishware, cameras , toys, and lots of other old items. It was like a time capsule. Lots of shiplap and slat walls. Yet the living room furniture was more modern (leather), and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need. Our dog Opie loved the fenced in yard and we loved sitting on the porches when it wasn't too hot. Would hope to stay there again if we get back that way!

The home included everything we needed. Conveniently located, comfy beds, super clean!!!! Will definitely stay again! Every morning enjoyed coffee on the porch!

Lovely location….close to site locations for Tennis championships! Great entertainment and dining close by! We loved relaxing on the porch! Our sons team are now ASC Conference Champions…and now going to Nationals! #LetsGoHSUCowboys we will return to this VRBO in the future!

Weekend in Georgetown
Nice house for a weekend in Georgetown. We were there to visit family. The property is directly across the street from a restaurant that has a live band on the weekends until 10pm. You can hear the noise in the house, but after 10, all is quiet. Beds are very comfortable, overall will be back again.
