The condo is pretty nice! I love the levered windows and natural shades, the beautiful plants that surround the windows are what sold me. You feel enveloped by them. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you need. The beds were comfortable. The ceiling fans were great. The ensuite bathroom was really nice to have.
That being said, it was August and pretty hot, which made sleeping without AC uncomfortable. The sheets on the bed are sateen, which would feel fine if it weren’t so hot, but felt like suede on hot skin and basically stuck to you. The condo is on the bottom floor, which gives you the benefit of the garden, but the neighbors above had obviously never lived in an apartment setting before and were very loud with their feet, sounded like they were marching up there. After several days I needed to vacuum the floor and I could not get the vacuum to suck up anything. After vacuuming the whole place the canister had nothing in it. Also, the washer and dryer are in an outdoor closet which makes it loud for the neighbors, so you can’t run a load after 10pm. If you get in late from a full day of fun and need to run a load, you have to plan carefully. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. The pool was great, location is great, the beach gear was mostly great, we had a great time!

The unit was beautiful and spacious, as were the grounds. My family enjoyed the pool, and I enjoyed the resident rooster who hung out on the patios. We had all of the supplies we needed (and then some), the unit was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Jason took our calls to answer our questions. We recommend staying here and would love to come again!.

First of all, Jason was great - super friendly, responsive, and helpful. Cannot thank him enough for his help.The space is huge and clean and we enjoyed it for sure. There were plenty of games, stuff for the beach and pool, and TVs to meet every persons interest. The location is also great in Princeville. Note that there are plenty of fans in the condo to make up for the lack of AC, and it really wasn’t too bad especially at night.The only complaint I have is that if you’re a light sleeper, it’s a bit loud between the chickens (which you’ll get everywhere on the island) and the (possible) upstairs neighbors. I think the floor/ceiling is a bit thin so we were woken up by loud footsteps every morning. That said, when I mentioned it to Jason he immediately apologized and tried to contact the owner of that rental to ask them to quiet down. We would definitely stay there again if in the area!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with loads of space for our group of 6. There is so much natural light, and the beautiful well-maintained landscaping provided some privacy as well as a lovely backdrop to all our meals. I wondered if being so close to the pool would be noisy, but it wasn't really an issue and the children loved it. The location was very convenient as well for all of our activities. The murphy bed in the living room was super comfortable. However the queen bed in the second bedroom was rather saggy and in need of replacement. The management company responded super quickly when we had an issue with one of the showers. We appreciated having so many towels and beach chairs, toys, etc. provided. We would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay. Had many amenities of home. Gas grill was a plus! Pool area is awesome even though we didn’t use it much. Would have given 5 stars but it did get a little warm even with the fans, windows and sliders open. Being use to AC it was an adjustment.

Lovely time - hands down best pool that we’ve had so far on our trip. Absolutely great pool. Kitchen very user friendly, lots of space. Upstairs neighbors super loud, but it was the holidays. We really enjoyed this condo and would definitely be happy to rent again. Thankyou!

Our family of 5 rented this condo for 12 days on our vacation to Kauai. The rental was very clean and had many amenities. It was great to have a washer and dryer. The dishwasher was not working for our trip- which was a bit of a bummer… but the rest of our stay was so great we still give this rental 5 stars.
It was nice to have beach towels, cooler, beach chairs, and beach toys. We used them daily. The grill works well- and it was nice to be able to cook at the condo.
The pool area was recently redone- and was well kept and a great place for our kids to chill at the end of the day.
The chickens are loud in the morning— so make sure to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper:)
This condo is well stocked- and close to Hanalei. We loved our trip and would happily stay here again. One of the nicest vacation rentals we have experienced. Mahalo!

We chose this rental on the basis of generous (for a condo) size and proximity to a pool. We were pleasantly surprised that despite said pool, the rental was quiet and peaceful. Noise from other units was almost non-existent.
Included amenities are well thought out, including quality beach chairs and toys. It made for a very comfortable stay.

This condo is in a great location to visit Hanalei, Kilauea, Kapaa, and many nice beaches. It was immaculate and very comfortable. With bedrooms on opposite sides it is a good setup for two couples or friends traveling together. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool is much nicer than the photos and I enjoyed it more than I expected to. It is close to the paths through Princeville for walking or jogging. There is no AC but the fans are very effective and it stays pretty cool.

I rented the property for a combination of my wifes 50th, our 21st anniversary and just a nice get-away. Jason (property manager) was professional and accommodating. We had some medical supplies that were to be shipped for use while on island and Jason advised to have the items shipped to his personal residence and he would make sure to get them to the property for when we arrived, which happened seamlessly. He communicated that the dishwasher was not functioning which was of no concern as there were supplies to hand wash dishes. The unit was well appointed, clean, comfortable, very large, conveniently located (to the pool and parking). I would like to stay here again and will recommend to family and friends.

Wonderful place!
This place is wonderful. It was so spacious. The lanai was amazing. We were steps from the pool, which was large and relaxing. We were walking distance to the Westin, which was nice for grabbing Starbucks. The beds were comfy. The host was so responsive. Their pool/water closet was so well stocked! Cooler, umbrellas and beach chairs. Location was great as we were close to the market and short drive to Hanalei. Would definitely stay here again!

Exactly what we were looking for!
Condo was just a short drive from Anini beach which was great. Check in was super easy, and Jason and his assistant called and texted to make sure everything was good. Unit was very clean and spacious with three different areas to sit outdoors. They also left a great welcome basket full of island goodies to snack on! If you don’t mind waking early to the roosters crowing (we didn’t mind, but ear plugs were provided in case we wanted to sleep in!) this place is perfect.

Quaint Princeville condo
Hau'oli Ohana Hale was a great spot not far from the entrance to Princeville. Princeville center is walkable from the unit as is Wylie's Beach just down the hill. The development overall is showing it's age a bit, but the unit looks to have been recently updated (furniture, appliances, and window treatments). All the necessary beach gear, including a coolers and chairs are there. Spices, coffee filters, and plenty of plates, glassware, and pans for your cooking needs. There was only 1 wine glass.
On Wednesday of our stay, unbeknownst to the property manager for our unit, the development closed the pool for 2 months. Jason and Janine from Kauai Prime were very responsive. They comped us a night for the inconvenience and Jason stopped by to apologize and drop off a bottle of wine. There are so many great beaches to find on the North Shore we barely missed the pool. We would definitely return to rent this property or another from Jason and the team at Kauai Prime. Mahalo!

Awesome Condo - Search No More!
The condo is in Princewille (north shore) which is a quick drive from Hanalei. There’s restaurants and a market walking distance and one of many beaches is a short hike down.
We booked the condo not realizing how conveniently close it is to the pool, maybe 20 steps. The amount of windows/sunlight is perfect, which is surrounded by lush plants and flowers, giving you a peaceful and private feeling.
Jason, the property manager, was very hospitable. He called me a few days before our trip, gave us some tips/locations to visit and avoid. He called again when we arrived to make sure we were good in finding the condo, etc. He was very quick to respond and very friendly!
If you’re looking to stay in a place that feels like home, don’t look any further. This condo will be your home during your stay on the island. It’s got everything you need and spacious for a family of 4-6.
We’ll definitely be rebooking if we go back to Kauai!

Open plan Kitchen, Dining, Lounge area.
Lots of natural light, steps away from pool area on property, close to car park, and to Princeville shops, Hanalei Bay etc.... good sized smart TV and wifi, full laundry area. Could use AC at night for us mainlanders not used to the night temps & humidity, roosters waking you up at 3am, 4am and so on... This is Hawaii a chicken sanctuary, it is what it is, wear ear plugs if they annoy you. All and all a great place to stay with family of 4 and or two couples. We had a fantastic 15 night stay on Kauai.

Island Feel
Overall, the condo met all of our needs. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect for us since there were just 2 couples. We appreciated all the ameneties that we couldn't bring from home. To list a few, washer and dryer, cooler, beach chairs (could use 2 more), beach towels and hairdryers in each bathroom. The 2 lanais were a great place to sit and enjoy reading a good book. Jason (property manager) was very accommodating and we appreciated him checking in with us to see if we needed anything. When we did, he was there the next day. Kudos to Jason! Mahalo!

Great location and size!
Overall we were very pleased with our stay here. The two bedroom condo was huge, and it couldn't be any closer to the community pool. Because we arrived after dark, we had some difficulty locating the unit and finding parking. There was a very helpful map on an information board that showed where the units were. I don't think we would have found it without that. I recommend getting more detailed instructions if you are arriving after dark. The only thing that prevented it from being 5* overall is some of the details: The curtains and curtain rods were pretty bad. You can still get enough privacy, they just detracted from otherwise decent decor. The coffee maker didn't work right. We think the pot was replaced with a different Mr. Coffee brand pot, because it wouldn't drain unless you lifted the pot, which got kind of old. We had some issues with the drains in the master bath. The property manager responded promptly and addressed the biggest problem on the same day, although I suspect the problem would return. Princeville is a beautiful resort community and there's a grocery store very close on the main highway.

The location of this property is ideal. We have come to Kauai many times, and stayed at numerous resorts, houses and private villas. This unit needs some attention but is satisfactory. No filtered water. Lots of windows, and as Will Smith would say" the curtains and curtain rods, dag".
