We liked everything about this place - very green, quite, beautifully designed hotel, the garden is magnificent, even better than on pictures. Eric gave us very good suggestions regarding restaurants and places to visit. we felt very welcomed and relaxed. Great experience!

The Villa du Cedre is a delight in every way. The beautifully restored villa and gardens are an ideal base for exploring Honfleur - a peaceful oasis just a short walk away from the old streets around the harbour. Our host was very charming and knowledgeable.

A lovely B&B with two very personable hosts! The house and gardens are beautiful, the location is a few minutes walk from the main tourist area but oh so quiet at night. Loved ALL the various cheeses at breakfast!

We cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Eric was the most gracious and attentive host. The property had all the French charm and decor we could hope for but with all the contemporary amenities and attention to small details. It was perfect. We had a lovely breakfast on the garden terrace under the fig tree and wine in the garden gazebo near the pool in the evening. It was perfectly located so we could easily walk everywhere and Eric offered many suggestions for local restaurants and activities. We adored Honfleur and look forward to our return.

We stayed at Villa du Cedre for four days and had the most wonderful time. It began with Eric’s warm welcome, so we could immediately feel at home. Eric was such a lovely and considerate host - for example he made a reservation at a restaurant for us after we arrived. The breakfast was delicious, there were different pastries, (of course baguettes and croissants), french cheese, juice, fresh fruits etc. During breakfast we had the most interesting chats with Eric and so it happened that we forgot time and talked for like an hour. The interior of Villa du Cedre was just beautiful, every little detail was perfect. The garden made us feel like we were in a little oasis, right in the center of Honfleur. We will definitely come back!

Everything … an immaculate property within walking distance to everything in Honfleur. Eric could not be a better host. My sole regret is only staying 2 nights.

The facility is 5 star!. The breakfast was superb, fresh and high quality. The service was outstanding. Eric is a wonderful host. He is friendly and made us feel welcome. He anticipated our needs. We still remember fresh coffee served poolside after a morning walk.

We cannot think of anything that is lacking. We highly recommend this place for anyone who looks for an excellent stay in Honfleur.

The house was charming and it was nice to have a pool. The owner (Eric) went out of his way to help the guests and make recommendations about what to do in the area. The location was about a 7 minute walk to the center of Honfleur. There is a bus station about five minutes by foot from the B&B. The breakfast was very good.

The room faced a noisy street - in terms of car traffic. I did ask for a room change, however they were booked. I did not sleep well the first night that I was there. The second night I was so tired from not sleeping the first night, I did sleep. There is no air conditioning or fans in the rooms and I had to keep the windows closed at night to block out some of the traffic noise.
