The house was gorgeous and spotless! We had our family of 6 adults and 5 children and had plenty of room. The private beach was large and clean. The water had calm waves and the kids loved finding rocks that had washed up on shore. There is a beautiful patio that sits above the shore and is perfect for a nice meal. We absolutely loved this house and are looking forward to booking again!

Had a wonderful weekend, the home was beautiful and the lawn was amazing. Spent the whole weekend outside playing yard games! We would definitely re book here if we are planning another trip.

This is an amazing property. House was well stocked, including spices, baggies, and aluminum foil. Everyone said they are ready to go back in warmer weather. There were 9 of us and the house was VERY comfortable.

This house was incredible! we had 6 adults and 5 kiddos and there was so much space for everyone! It was very clean, never felt crowded. So open and family friendly! So many extras! Everything you needed to cook and stay in but also close to a variety of neat resturants. The property was amazing and was perfect to let the kiddos run around and play! We cannot wait to go back!

We were able to get away for a long weekend with our parents, and it was fabulous! We started this the year of my mom's 80th birthday, but 18 months ago she had a spinal stimulator implanted in her back (she's had Rheumatoid Arthritis since the age of 29). She can no longer sleep in a bed at night but Karen was open to us bringing her recliner chair to the house so we could again spend quality time with the two of them for the weekend. Thank you Karen- it was a great weekend, and mom is already talking about doing it again next year, so we'll be in touch after the first of the year!! In addition, the house is extremely comfortable and provided the perfect setting for us!!

The owners of this property were incredibly helpful, great communicators and very easy to work with! The home is so comfortable and clean, and the property is stunning! The home is well stocked, the owners have gone above and beyond to ensure their guests have everything needed to make their stay comfortable. The home is set up well for larger groups of family and friends with separate spaces that also flow together. There is plenty of tableware, chairs (in the house and on both decks), cooking items, games, blankets and towels - everything you need. And, again, the views are so beautiful. Sitting on the back deck or on the waterfront deck playing cards, chatting with family and watching sunset was our favorite!!! We also enjoyed the beach that went on and on with the crystal clear water. Oh, and there are three kayaks which made the waterfront even more fun. We would absolutely stay at this wonderful property again - we look forward to returning.

This place is beautiful and it was very well equipped to house our family of 6 adults and two children. There is nothing negative I can say about it. It is more beautiful than the pictures show. We all loved it a would love to vacation here again.

Great house and beach/lake access!

We've stayed here before and loved it. House is well appointed, the newer 'mezzanine' (as we called it) on the hillside is wonderful, beach/shore access is great, the newer stove was great for us as we cook every night. The house is clean, private and comfy. Host was very communicative and available if needed. I'm sure we will return.

We look forward to going to Sodus fishing every year and being able to stay at this house just makes it better.

Nothing beats the view we had from this property !! We always plan and visit places around the property but with this one we stayed home - relaxed and enjoyed everything the house had to offer. Loved kayaking and the lake side and also campfires at the night !! Would love to visit this property again and many times more. Thank you Karen for all you considerations and prompt responses!!

Absolutely amazing place,

This is a lovely house on a picturesque setting. The house is well cared for, clean, and stocked with everything you would need. We enjoyed the deck off of the house with lots of seating and tables, a huge yard for kids to play, and the rocky beach for swimming, kayaking and collecting sea glass. It’s a great location close to the public beach, restaurants, and ice cream shops. It was a great stay.

We all had a wonderful time! Property is super spacious and had everything you could ever need for a week-long stay. We hope this Property is available next summer.

Everything was seamless from booking to settling in. We are a family of six and there were three kayaks. We asked for three more and the owner rented three more for us. The house was clean and nice, the view was magnificent, and the new porch sitting over the beach was an awesome addition. We had lunch a couple times there. We had an unintentional little damage and the owner kindly followed up with our trip insurance for reimbursement. Great place! Thank you Dineharts!

The house and property are very nice. The views from the house and the deck by the water are excellent. The whole family had an awesome time. Having your own private water access is a big plus. Lots of room in the house. Looking forward to a future trip to this property.

Exactly as advertised. Karen and Kirk have thought of everything. The property was perfect for an annual family gathering. From volleyball games to hunting for "sea" glass on the shoreline, every minute created a new memory for our family. We'll be back!!

We absolutely loved this property! The views, access to the lake, and close proximity to town made it the perfect place to stay. It was extremely clean and well-maintained. Looking forward to staying here again!

This property was perfect for a long weekend get-away with our family. The rooms were large and very well kept. We played games and did a lot of outdoor activities. The kitchen was perfect for feeding our hungry group. Highly recommend this house! PS: We saw deer and 2 bald eagles frequently.

This Stay was EXACTLY what I needed after a very long COVID 19 exile. To visit my son and grandchildren after 1-1/2 years and the death of my husband their grandfather/father was so important. The surroundings gave me ample time to reflect and repair. The accommodations were perfect and the amenities wonderful. Would like to return again in the warmer months to experience more of this great place. The owners were available and very accommodating

The experience with the vrbo site and with communication with the owners was very good.

We stayed here for three nights. The property is located right at Lake Ontario shores. The bedrooms and living room have awesome views of the lake. All rooms are quite spacious with nice decor. The living room and kitchen was huge. Has a huge backyard/deck for any activities. One can engage in fishing, kayaking, campfire, swimming. We had an awesome time and will definitely like to return to this place.

This property is a perfect spot for a private relaxing getaway. The house is beautiful and comes with everything you need for your stay. All the bedrooms are big and the property is huge and more importantly private! The views are spectacular and you even have a neighborhood Eagle to watch throughout the day! I highly recommend this property for your next lake vacation. We will be back!

We had a wonderful vacation in Sodus Point! The views of Lake Ontario from the property were beautiful. Plenty of yard to play games with the kids. We very much appreciated the hospitality of the owners. We would love to come back and stay in the future!

We had a wonderful time in Sodus Point. As another reviewer said, I almost don’t want to say how lovely the house and property are so others won’t discover this gem. The homeowners were great to work with, I appreciated their checking in the week before, as well as the clear and concise instructions. The house is beautiful, the property perfect for our needs, and being just a short stroll across the lawn and down some stairs to the lake was incredible. We mostly lucked out with the weather, but even the stormy days worked out as the house had everything you would need to curl up on a rainy day. And of course, the next day even more treasures to be found as we walked the beach. Lots of stone cairns were stacked, sea glass picked, and favorite rocks chosen. We can’t wait until (fingers crossed), we find our way here again next year.

We really enjoyed our stay here. My Grandkids ages 8, 11 & 13 swam, kayaked, played cornhole, badminton & soccer during the days then games & movies in evening. A few days were muggy so we were happy to have AC. The house & beach were very private, just what we were looking for!
