The location is unmatched being so close to the beach/boardwalk, and the home was clean and comfortable. Our stay was great. Having the MBR on the main level along with the elevator was key for my parents. The location was walkable to beach, boardwalk, etc. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all very nice. Two laundry areas was great as well and we enjoyed the hot tub! Only drawback for large group is there isn't enough seating at one table or couch area for a large party - we were 9 people. We would recommend this property to enjoy all San Diego has to offer.

Perfect location to the beach and Sea World. House was big enough for our family. Great to have a bathroom of every bedroom.

was a great safe place to stay by the bay

This house is amazing! It was perfect for our reunion, with lots of space and enough beds for all. The location can't be beat and was literally about 100 feet from the beach, shops, restaurants, coffee, etc. There is a little cozy little paved walkway between the back patios of the houses where you can walk right to the soft sands of Mission Beach (you can walk barefoot on this right to the beach). The house itself, as you can see in the pictures, is in great shape and we ended up having most of our hang out time up in the kitchen area where there are seats at the table, the sofa, or the counter/bar with attached swivel seats where we all could hang out together and catch up, cook, watch a movie, etc. And the property managers were also wonderful and very clear with communication and responsive to questions. Can't go wrong with this one - it really facilitated some amazing memories for a lifetime for our group!

There was a group of 11 who stayed at this property for a bachelorette and it was wonderful. We were missing towels in the master and it was quickly rectified. The kitchen is wonderful with all the appliances and supplies you will need for all your meals. Super convenient elevator to help bring up groceries and luggage!

Great place for a beach vacation

We all really enjoyed our week at Brian's beautiful beach house. It was very spacious, and so close to the beach and Belmont Park. There were tons of things to do and the kids had a blast too. I would highly recommend this house for family get togethers.

The house was in the perfect location. So close to the beach and restaurants. I gave this property a high rating but there were a few small annoyances. Had to deal with Maintenace person coming in twice while we were there to fix a faucet in one of the bathrooms...a bit annoying to have to pay attention to texts, to coordinate with the guy to come while we were there. Also had to store food in the garage fridge as the new fridge purchased, was not placed in the kitchen before we got there. Leaky shower in the basement...some inconveniences, but we handled it. I will say with these "challenges" there was always great communication by the host, which helped. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and our family loved the house.

We had a great time. The location was perfect for the age ranges we had because we were close to so many different activities like the beach, boardwalk, beach cruiser, and food.

Had a great stay at this property with a team of doctors for a time of rest after a week of clinics in Tijuana. Great space for large group to fit comfortably. Short walk to the beach. The owners were easily accessible for questions via text. Would definitely stay in the future!

Nice location. Plenty of room for all. A few items were in need of repair but overall it was good. The elevator was a very helpful to take luggage and groceries up to 3rd level.

My husband and I planned a family vacation for our adult children, their partners, and our two grandchildren. We wanted a place where we could gather but also have private space. This house was perfect. We were able to enjoy each others company without feeling like we were on top of each other. The house is steps from the beach and close to all the fun San Diego activities. The only down sides were the proximity to Mission Blvd (the bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd level are on the street side and there was some traffic noise with the windows open — not bad enough to keep anyone awake!) and the 1st level bathroom had some mold in the dispensers in the shower. Overall these were insignificant hiccups.

Had our family and spouses join us in this house. Great privacy because of bathrooms in each room. Good for additional visitors because of the 6th bathroom on the 3rd floor. Very easy access to beach and good accessories for the beach. The patio was really nice.

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and everything was great. With a large group of women it was super convenient that every bedroom had a bathroom. The proximity to the water was amazing and everything was super walkable. The only thing we were unable to find was the garbage & recycle cans that belonged to this house.

This house was so wonderful!! It was in such a great location. Being able to walk to restaurants, coffee, the beach was such a delight. The house itself is beautiful. The owners have everything so well organized and labeled as well. This made it super easy to keep everything clean and put away properly when we weren't using it. The common space was great to eat meals together. For the outside space, it had a fence which was awesome. Not every patio space in the neighborhood had that. We really enjoyed that sense of privacy and an extra layer of safety in an awesome neighborhood. The owners are responsive and super helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Mission Beach, we made memories to last a lifetime. Thank you Susan and Brian!

Overall we had a great time. This house was clearly once beautiful and it still is, but it's just about covered with callouts of broken things and how to work around them (weird steps to use the dishwasher, sinks that don't drain, showers with weak water pressure, blinds that don't work and are stuck closed). The owner has quite a few rules that are shared re: how to use the house and considering the long list I'd have expected things to be in better condition. That said, we had a great time. I'd just confirm those things are fixed before staying.

On the check-in sheet it said: "The big blind in the upstairs room to the east is not for guests and must remain closed." When I arrived, it was open. I forgot about the check-in sheet instructions, and lowered them to keep the sun out in the morning. After we checked out, the owner said they were broken, and withheld $375 from my security deposit. Who do you think should pay for their replacement? We had a nice stay, and the home was as described. But there was a lot to remember in the contract and on the check-in sheet. It was stressful to remember it all. Next time I'll try a block of hotel rooms. I'm not vrbo material.

This was a great property for our girls trip! It was walking distance to the beach and mission board walk! It comfortable slept our group of 11 and the patio made for the perfect hang out! The property owner was responsive and helpful. Overall great time!

My fiancé and I wanted to get married on the beach and this beautiful house helped make that happen. It was close enough to the beach that we could just walk right out and get married. The courtyard was just big enough for us to have dinner and dance with our immediate family and a few of our closest friends. The owners were very accommodating and helpful with all our needs. We definitely would recommend this house and would love to stay in it again
