The property is just as advertised, and was absolutely great - size and layout wise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with three exceptions, one which has been mentioned in several prior reviews: There are a lot of light bulbs out in the home. The ceilings are high, so that may be the problem. But the lights were totally out on the steps at the front entry, so we had to use our phone flashlights. Several windows are broken and don’t close. The most serious was the upper hallway restroom door, the knob lock doesn’t work and it kept locking people in the restroom. I texted about that. So, really, a great house overall, it just needs a few hours of a handyman’s time to keep it spectacular.

The beds were comfortable and location was nice but the place needs lots of updates. A number of windows were broken and would not close all the way, some of the bathroom doors would not lock, pool table was wobbly and you could not play a serious game on it, ping pong paddles were completely destroyed and not usable, host did not respond to any messages I sent him on the VRBO app, internet was unreliable, because the internet was unreliable we could not use the movie theatre room, a few of the seats in the movie theatre room were not secured to the floor, smoke detector was uninstalled, kitchen sink leaked profusely into the cabinets below, and numerous other things. A lot of small annoying things. Again I tried to tell the host a few of these things but after check in they did not respond.

House was large enough. Plenty of areas for your family to spread out and enjoy time. The yard is small and pictures make it seem it is out more secluded and it is not. Neighborhood was quiet. Multiple lights did not work in the house. Main fan in living room didn’t work. The ping pong and pool table very used paddles no rubber on them, pool table very damaged. The cinema room was great, just watch the tack strips nails were sticking out and one of the seats was coming out of the floor. Bean bag set was broken. Knobs on hot tub were missing. When we moved a chair out to use from table, screw fell out. The master bedroom shower-will only produce scolding HOT water-unable to turn down. Lots of space, house just needs some upkeep-I am sure many family’s use it and makes it hard to keep maintained. These are little things that could be fixed for the price point.

Overall the place was OK. Spending a few thousand dollars could improve some things inside. Not all windows would open and some would not close all the way. The carpeting could be improved also in areas. Some outlets did not have covers on them. The chairs in the theater room are a little loose and move when sitting in them. The ignition on the grill didn't work, fan in upstairs bathroom doesn't work. Jam video game doesn't always work and joy stick on player 1 on NBA jam doesn't always work. One of the mattresses on the bed upstairs was very stiff. On the good side the elk and mule deer passing by right outside the windows was fantastic. Location is also good.

This house worked extremely well for our family. We had 15 people (10 adults and 5 children under the age of 6). The house was clean and had everything we needed. We saw wildlife in the backyard every morning and evening. There was plenty of things for the kids to do and the theater room was a hit. I would recommend this house and if we ever come back to this area would love the opportunity to stay here again. Thank you Alex and Hannah!

7 adults and 2 teens stayed at this VRBO for our nephew’s wedding. The weather, views, wildlife, peace and accommodations made for a wonderful time together!

We rented this large home for family members to attend our son’s wedding. The home was huge, spacious and exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful setting, wildlife all around. Gorgeous well kept home. 10/10

The amenities and space exceeded our expectations for our family of twelve. We had lots of fun playing frisbee golf, ping pong matches, enjoying the theatre and hot tub when not hiking or enjoying all that Estes Park and RMNP has to offer. Great family time!

First, we loved our family of 12 gathering in this beautiful home. The hot tub, arcade room, movie room and ping pong table were used a ton! Wildlife was everywhere! An elk actually calved under the porch while we were there! Some things you should know before going-the home needs some repairs done. The bunk bed is so rickety no one could sleep on the top bunk and the bottom bunk is broken by the feet, the pool table is basically unplayable it slopes so much to one end and is so wobbly. The garbage disposal doesn’t work, a lamp is broken, bedroom blinds broken with ropes to hold them up, front door keypad pretty unreliable, etc I had read past reviews with these concerns and assumed they’d been repaired when I booked, but haven’t been I did contact the owner about a tv not working and someone arrived to fix it within hours. For our family it was still amazing and we’d stay here again for sure!

Amazing space for three families to spread out and enjoy time together. The kitchen, hot tub, fire place, movie room, arcade room, ping pong and foos ball were all enjoyed by all. Really great space and perfect location close to town and RMNP. 10/10

Our beautiful Estes Park Christmas with family was not because of our experience with these property owners. The owner or manager never had the decency to respond to our many private messages. They did, in what appears to be retaliation, try to charge us fines for false accusations now under dispute. A planted piece of marijuana in middle of carpet...really! When looking at other reviews you will see similar complaints as ours. See a below message(copy and pasted)sent to owner privately but now publicly. "Good morning. We never did hear back from Anna. I am sending this to you as I do not want to put this on a public forum. Let me first say we had a wonderful time in Estes park with our family. Your home is well appointed for us. We have traveled the world staying in short term rentals. A matter of fact it is our preferred way to lodge. We also have owned two short term rentals and received 5 star ratings year after year. I tell you this so hopefully you can realize we have been on both sides of the short term rental arena and truly do speak from experience. This is the first time I have ever felt the need and taken the time to share with the owner It is not just the fact that the hot tub didn’t work. It’s also a plethora of other small things that would have been completely overlooked if there weren’t so many. To name a few…no kitchen mitts and two of us burned ourselves, we discovered the garbage compactor didn’t work only after having throwing things in it, the outside heat lamp didn’t work, picture on your listing showing the fire pit which we are not allowed to use, there is no salt provided for slippery walkways, we tried to grill our Christmas dinner to find the propane tank was empty, there are blown bulbs throughout the house, no shower curtain liner downstairs, breakers kept blowing and had to be flipped over and over, house is not thoroughly clean (example-tons of trash under couches and animal urine smell), couldn’t play ping pong because paddles are shot, unsteady pool table couldn’t be used, bunk beds shakes badly, missing window blinds in basement, left bedroom window won’t close, family room blinds don’t lower. There are many more little things but this is just to give you an idea. I know when you are not present on site there is no way to know unless someone shares. This cabin was ideal for our family who hasn't been all together in years. Estes Park is special for us b/c another family member was married there just before the pandemic and it was the last time we were all together. The location is superior b/c you are close enough to town to easily access it anytime but still in nature for walks and to see the amazing wildlife. The cabin itself is clean and literally offers something for all ages. However, it could use some TLC as there were a few broken or missing window coverings and/or window cranks for opening windows in addition to many light bulbs being burnt out and not replaced. To be expected if this property is only used as a rental so that stuff can be overlooked. The one complaint is the lack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. In the past 15 yrs, we have stayed dozens of places all over the US and I have owned properties that I rent all over the US. Only two did not provide a respectable amount of paper products and this cabin is one. Not ensuring there is at least enough toilet paper to cover one roll per day per bathroom for your guests comes off as cheap and uncaring. We had 16 people in the cabin so we had no choice but to go to the store on Thanksgiving day to get more toilet paper and other necessities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain home. The spacious home was perfect for our extended family. The home was clean, well equipped, and in a great location relative to the downtown area and the park. We most enjoyed all the wildlife we could observe from the living room windows!

Outstanding communication, cleanliness, space and hospitality. Appreciated the recreation opportunities including ping pong, pool and foosball. Wonderful property and layout.

Beautiful, spacious house conveniently situated near Estes park downtown

The property was beautiful. The power outlets in the basement didn’t work. The pool table is not as nice as the picture and there was only one pool cue. The ping pong table paddles were all broken. Game room was nice. Most bedrooms were nice.

The property was very nice. In particular, we liked the large living room, family, room, breakfast room and kitchen space, as we could all easily gather and share time together. The bedrooms, beds, bathrooms, linens were all very nice. The kids took advantage of the lofted game area, and especially the basement area with its pool table, ping pong table, video game consoles, and the movie theater room. Some of those things were showing their age a bit, but the kids still liked them. The location was excellent - very close to RMNP and Estes.

We stayed for spring break and the cabin and whole area were absolutely dreamy. Sooo much space in the cabin and we loved waking up the deer in the yard.

We loved our time at the property. We had a large family gathering with kids and adults. There was something for everyone! The kids loved the pool table, ping-pong table, arcade room. We enjoyed the disc golf and outdoor seating. The front porch swing was one of the favorite elements of the house. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all. The house was adequately stocked for our weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay! Property was exactly as was posted on the listing. Plenty of room for a group of 5 families totaling 16 people (ages 13-78) to spread out and enjoy whatever activities they chose.

Loved this property. Lots of space to spread out and be apart. Outdoor space was great too. The kitchen had everything needed to fix meals for a large group.

I stayed here with a group of 12 other adults for a wedding. It was great! There was plenty of privacy/space for each couple or person to have their own bed, and plenty of space for us to park 6 cars in the driveway/garage. Loved the games, movie theatre and hot tub! Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying here. Perfect for a large group and it's very close to town, Rocky Mountain National Park, etc.
