Meadow View è una casa con 3 camere da letto e 2 bagni recentemente rinnovata e ben arredata e comprende un ampio soppalco accogliente e un garage per 2 auto su un terreno pianeggiante. La proprietà può ospitare comodamente 8 con vista ininterrotta sul bellissimo prato o foresta da quasi tutte le finestre. Circondata da terreni forestali su entrambi i lati, questa casa è una vacanza tranquilla, perfetta per famiglie e amici.
Al piano inferiore c'è una cucina completamente attrezzata con nuovissimi elettrodomestici da cucina in acciaio inossidabile, che si apre sulla sala da pranzo con 8 posti a sedere e la zona giorno che vanta una nuova stufa a gas, TV a schermo piatto, soffitti a volta e vista mozzafiato su un ampio prato aperto . Ci sono 2 camere da letto, un bagno completamente rinnovato e lavanderia anche al primo piano. La casa ha un nuovo scaldabagno senza serbatoio per l'acqua calda senza fine dopo aver giocato sulla neve.
Al piano superiore soffitti con travi a vista, una grande camera da letto con balcone, bagno e zona soppalco con vista mozzafiato sul prato, comodi posti a sedere, TV a schermo piatto e area giochi con ampio spazio per rilassarsi o giocare.
L'area del ponte posteriore si apre su ettari e ettari di prato con chilometri di sentieri per escursioni a piedi e in bicicletta. Our family has visit Lake Tahoe for decades, we have camped, stayed in lodges, hotels. Last year we took our 86 year old mother to celebrate her birthday as Lake Tahoe and Fallen Leaf Lake are her favorite places. We needed a place comfortable for her that could accommodate 8 of us. This was PERFECT.
This was a year later only this time we celebrated her memory, she walked into heaven this year. We all loved being in this beautiful serene home to laugh and cry and laugh some more. It was glorious to cook in this kitchen and just sit on the patio watching the meadow… morning coffee, evening glass of wine. Melinda is an incredible host so attentive and thought of everything in her home. This is a gem of a place perfectly located near heavenly village and easily everywhere we needed to be. Thank you Melinda, what a blessing.

Beautiful cabin close to the heart of South Lake Tahoe. Perfect for a group of 6. Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Great communication with the host. Highly recommend!

Beautiful little cabin in south Tahoe, perfect for our small group’s weekend get away. 15-20min drive to the downtown area and beaches. Melinda the host was very lovely and easy to communicate with. Dog friendly. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. We loved grilling and enjoying the summer breeze on the patio. Would definitely stay again!

Family friendly, very clean, great kitchen in an house that combines modern appliances and comforts with a rustic cozy feel. Kitchen was very well equipped and the AC was a blessing. Enjoyed being outside on the patio and feeling one with nature yet only 10 minutes away from the lake, grocery store and restaurants. One of my favorite VRBO stays yet.

We've rented a lot of homes over the years, and this was one of our favorites! Melinda's home is lovely -- it's hard to list all of the good things: the home is well laid out, the location was central to all of our activities, the beds are really comfortable, the kitchen is extremely well-stocked, it was extremely clean (especially considering it's pet-friendly), and the view of the meadow is gorgeous and so relaxing! Melinda was a great communicator -- she made sure we had all the information we needed for a wonderful stay, and responded immediately when I had a random question about trash day. Our friends were renting nearby and they were jealous of how beautiful this house is! Highly recommend!!

This chalet is beyond perfection! Besides being charming, fully stocked with everything you need, and impeccably decorated to reflect the mountain/lake surroundings, it is located close to miles of trails that you can hike for hours. Melinda, the host, is absolutely wonderful, answers all of your questions and gives excellent tips! The best part is the fact that the chalet abuts the trail system, you routinely get to see all kinds of critters, including bear and coyotes. They leave you alone and we left them alone, but it was magical to watch them walk through the giant meadow that faces the deck. The cabin is located in the best part of Tahoe b/c it gives you access to all of the Tahoe region, but also is a quick jaunt to some of our preferred hikes down by Markleeville and Kit Carson. We normally spend all day at a lake or on the trails, but found ourselves coming home earlier in the evening to enjoy the deck and watch wildlife. Do heed Melinda's warning about keeping your pets on leashes when outside, but while my dog barked like crazy at the bear, the bear wouldn't even give my dog the courtesy of a glance. We aren't nightlife folks, but if you desire the casinos and bars, they are 5 to 10 minutes down the street. Skiing is also right down the street. If you are looking for a winter wonderland, I have to imagine the trails next to the cabin would be incredible for snowshoeing. The chalet truly has something to offer for everyone!

This is our second stay at this VRBO. Again, well stocked; everything is easily accessible. Considerations are definitely made for guests in mind. Comfortable upstairs bed. Haven't used downstairs bedrooms as our children are in college and have not been able to join us on our past couple trips. Home itself is nice and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Tahoe. We will definitely be back.

This South Lake Tahoe chalet was the perfect winter retreat. We cozied up by the fire for movie nights, enjoyed the snowy wonderland with snowshoe adventures and had a blast tubing in the backyard. The location was great with easy access to explore the area making our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend!!

Our family stayed here during a ski trip and we would definitely return. This is a beautiful home with all the amenities we needed. The kitchen appears recently remodeled and is well-stocked. There was ample space to spread out between the downstairs living room and the loft sitting area.
Melinda is very responsive and accommodating.
We really enjoyed taking a walk in the snow along the trail that can be accessed at the end of the road.

Our second stay in this wonderful cozy, clean, and comfortable cabin with a beautiful meadow view. Hiking/snowshoeing/x-country skiing trails begin at the end of the street. Feels remote, but isn't. Heavenly Valley, Lake Tahoe, and stores/restaurants are close by. Especially loved and appreciated that it is dog friendly!

We had a great day! The house was very well stocked. The beds were warm and clean. There were a lot of extra blankets and the movie selection was on point. Our only complaint is that the listing said there was a hot tub and there wasn’t one.

This is our second time staying at this lovely home. The location is great with easy access, situated on a quiet cul de sac with direct access to open space and trails. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and is perfect for those who love to cook. The beds are very comfortable annd the loft upstairs provides a nice secondary reading, tv, and yoga space :-) Our furry friends love the backyard as do we. A perfect spot for a family gathering!

The cabin is great! Very clean and well stocked, there are even items for your furry family members. It feels like home and the kitchen has everything. The neighborhood is very quiet with no street noise and there are hiking trails at the end of the street. The owner is very responsive and reached out prior to our stay to ensure there were no questions. We will definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay in South Lake and the ease and comfort of your cabin only made it that much better. Perfectly comfortable for 4 ladies to sleep, share 2 full bathrooms and do lots of cooking. Our only complaint was that we didn't get to see a bear :)

We stayed here with a toddler and it had ALL the toddler stuff to make your stay easy and convenient! It has a fully stocked kitchen, was a quick 10 minute drive to the lake, a nice back patio to relax.

We spent our days outside, taking advantage of the beautiful weather (ie. biking, hiking, boating, dining out) In the evenings we played games and had some great conversations out on the patio.

We came together as a family to celebrate our mom’s 86th birthday, Fallen Leaf Lake is her and my dad’s favorite place (dad now home to heaven). Mom had not been back 20 years. It was glorious to bring her. This place was easy for her to walk in; a walk up to short stairs and she had all she needed on main floor. The Loft and bedroom upstairs is perfect for extra room or if you had someone that needed to be away from the crowd.
We walked into the home with flowers and a card for mom, such a nice touch. This place was perfect for the 6 of us. This place would be great for a family with children as well. A beautiful big meadow with tree swings, a lovely patio to enjoy. Lots of birds and squirrels and even a black bear, always exciting to see but reverent to just look. Clearly he was a local ha ha.
The kitchen is THE BEST equipped I have stayed in, truly we had great meals in like being at home. Everything is there it’s amazing. I can’t recommend this place enough, even not wanting too, as we for sure will be back and hope it won’t be booked.
Melinda the host was absolutely hands down the best, very easy to communicate with and very responsive.
We are so blessed to have discovered this slice if paradise.

We loved our stay in Tahoe. This house is very well stocked and Melinda is a wonderful host. Very clean and the decorations are all Tahoe themed. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed the house. Dogs hung out on the back deck (with leads). The kids claimed the upstairs area as a play room. We walked the neighborhood and local trails and spent time at Trout creek ( trail head 5min away) as well as the upper Truckee. All the kitchen supplies you can want. It was so relaxing.

My family, (and my 2 dogs), and I had a great time at the Meadowview Chalet. This home is spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The Meadow in the backyard is simply beautiful. The owner was quick to reply to any question. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for letting us use your lovely home.

My family enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable house. There was plenty of room and the deck overlooking the meadow was very relaxing!

We loved our family vacation. Th weather was a bit cold but the property is awesome. Loved the fully stocked kitchen and quiet neighborhood. We had six adults and a dog and had plenty of room for everyone.

The chalet was as cozy as pictured with a calm little meadow off the rear. There were 8 in our party and we all seemed to appreciate the space and feel of the home. We were a bit surprised to find out that the out door lighting would be a trigger for the neighbors but I guess the trees were not as thick as we assumed. That being said we had a great time an the owners were very heplful and accommodating. I would certainly xonsider staying there again. Thank you Mary.

Location was great, sitting outside overlooking the meadow was exactly what we wanted for morning coffee and afternoon wine. You had everything I could think of in the kitchen. We loved everything about this house, but by far our favorite feature was the well-stocked kitchen. Usually while traveling we have to put our culinary aspirations on the shelf, but we were delighted to find all the pots, pans, seasonings, barware, and other miscellaneous kitchen gadgets ones heart could desire. A KitchenAid Mixer?!? Pinch me.
The backyard meadow was perfect for our dog and toddler to run around, and the cross-country skiiers in the group got some nice laps in on the local trails.

What a fantastic space! My kids enjoyed playing in the snowy meadow and tire swing. The very well equipped kitchen made cooking that much more enjoyable. Loved playing board games and being cozy near the fireplace. Location is great, about 15 minutes to skiing and entertainment. I would vacation here again!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for my family of 4 and our dog! Can't beat the location. We were a 10 minute drive to Heavenly. Loved walking out the back door and playing in the snow. And the loft upstairs had such an amazing view of the meadow! We loved playing monopoly upstairs while looking out at the meadow. Will definitely come back!

Stayed for the weekend. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The back patio was full of snow which was great for the kids to play in. Melinda had great communication with any questions we had. Would definitely book again!
