Little House on the River
Vieni a visitare il nostro cottage sul bellissimo Crowe River, a 10 minuti a nord di Havelock ea sole 2 e 5 ore da Toronto! Questa casa ben curata con 4 camere da letto per 4 stagioni vanta spazio per intrattenere, può ospitare fino a 8 persone con aria centrale, una grande buca per il fuoco, fronte spiaggia di sabbia e un grande ponte con una veranda riparata con vista sull'acqua. Ti innamorerai di questa posizione che è perfetta per coppie, famiglie con bambini o anche viaggiatori d'affari.
La cucina ha nuovi elettrodomestici tra cui forno a microonde, forno e frigorifero. C'è una fornace più nuova, aria condizionata centralizzata e acqua potabile.
Il fiume Crowe scorre fuori dal Lago di Belmont e il cottage si trova a circa 500 m dal lago più grande, offrendo un tranquillo fronte d'acqua in una zona senza scia con traffico di imbarcazioni minimo. Durante i livelli elevati di acqua, i visitatori dovrebbero essere cauti della corrente nel mezzo del fiume, tuttavia l'acqua vicino alla riva non è interessata. Il fiume è ottimo anche per la pesca (bass, pickerel, Pike, Muskie)
All'interno del cottage ci sono due comode camere da letto, una con un letto matrimoniale e l'altra con letti a castello di grandi dimensioni. Ci sono anche 3 futon da usare, 1 al piano superiore e 2 al piano inferiore. C'è anche una passeggiata fuori dal seminterrato a una zona salotto coperta con un divano e sedie all'aperto. C'è una stufa a legna Fisher nel seminterrato per godersi un soggiorno tranquillo in casa. Il ponte ha anche un tavolo da patio e sedie a sdraio per rilassarsi mentre si barbecue su un nuovo barbecue a propano.
Il cottage è situato su un terreno in leggera pendenza fino all'acqua con una passeggiata sabbiosa nella zona. Ci sono posti a sedere vicino al pozzo d'acqua e fuoco. Verrà fornita una piccola quantità di legno e altri possono essere acquistati localmente.
Goditi un caffè nella veranda riparata, il pranzo o la cena sul ponte e una bevanda sotto le stelle vicino al pozzo del fuoco!
Il cottage è dotato di lenzuola, trapunte e coperte per rendere il vostro soggiorno confortevole. Si prega di portare i propri asciugamani.

Stayed at this property last week. We were very impressed with how clean everything was, both inside and outside. There was lots to do between the paddle boards, cayaks, and games available. The hosts texted me to make sure all was good. Overall, a great experience!

This is a spectacular place with a wide lot and a beautiful firepit. The dock, beach and water sports are great. The cottage is clean and has lots of space for a family. It has a lovely view from all vantages. The owners are responsive and kind. We were very happy with our stay!

It was nice to get away from the routine. We spent some time on the river, took in a couple local attractions and spent time playing games. Having access to the SUPs, kayaks, peddle boat and lawn games…this cottage kept us entertained.

This home was more delightful than we expected, and we are so thankful that we could enjoy this home. The home was fully equipped, and the water activities kept everyone busy. The days were too short and the time moved quickly. Absolutely perfect. We will be back.

This is our third time staying at the cottage... We absolutely love it. This time, we took my parents, 11 year old niece and our 1 year old son! Everyone had such a blast. There's something to do for everyone, you couldn't possibly get bored. The cottage itself is very well kept, the property is perfect. The beach entry with thr sand was our sons favourite part. Our dog even loves jumping off the dock! It's safe to say this is a cottage our family will visit for as long as Dale and Becky let's us! Thanks for helping us making great memories, again!

This was our third summer enjoying this lovely cottage. Dale & Becky are wonderful hosts. My daughters really love the beach entry and using the kayaks and SUPs to explore. They especially like seeing all the turtles. We can’t wait to go back next summer ☀️

While its listed as a "little house", it packs a punch in terms the amenities (bbq, kayaks, paddleboard, volley ball,) and comforts afforded. (A/C, wifi and good water pressure, etc..._
The sun soaked deck is perfect for whiling away the day, and if you get bored of that, its just a hop-skip to the dock.
The hosts are friendly and easy to communicate with, and check in is a breeze. Would highly recommend both for an activity filled vacation, or one where R&R is the game.

Great weekend getaway
Love this property, this was our second time staying here and we already plan to be back once again. Cottage is clean, stocked with just about everything you need and the owner is always available. Can't wait to go back in summer 2022.

Wonderful Cottage
This is a very wonderful cottage. I highly recommend it. Dale and Rebecca are very gracious and helpful hosts. There are a variety of different things to do inside and outside the cottage. We also enjoyed having different places to sit in the cottage. The kitchen is very well stocked with plates, cups, cutlery, pots and pans. We found the cottage to be very clean. It was also a very easy place to tidy up when we left. The cottage is well situated to Belmont Lake.

Along with all of this, the highlight of our stay was the many activities we did in the river. The river was not deep, it stretched all the way to the lake and it had practically no waves nor any strong current making this an excellent place to swim with our kids. Overall, we had a fantastic time at the cottage!

2nd visit as great as the first!
This was our second stay here. Lovely deck upgrade with the glass across the front for an unobstructed view of the water. The sand/beach walk in is such a great feature as well. We were out on the water most of the time we were there. We can’t wait to visit again!

We spent two nights here and loved it. The place had everything we needed - from kayaks to a fire pit - to a fooseball table. Lots of activities. Dale was also great at responding right away to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again (just probably a different month - so many caterpillars everywhereee).

Pictures don’t do it justice. It was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. It was a nice quiet weekend. Check in & communication were quick & easy. We will likely be looking at staying again.

Relax and Enjoy nature
there are ample games and activities that Dale & Rebecca have set up for people to enjoy. Great location, very quiet, not to far from the town of Havelock. We had a great time there and would definitely return.

Honeymooners!
My now husband and I got married last weekend and we're so thankful we were able to find a cottage for our mini honeymoon. Dale was very responsive, answered all of our questions and was always available. The cottage itself was beautiful. It was clean when we arrived. The dock and water are the best part. I couldn't get my husband or dog out of it!! The water is so clear on the beach area and the water activities like kayak and paddle boards are so much fun. The fire pit is huge but a perfect way to end ur days. I think we know where we'll be next summer!!

Amazing stay
Perfect getaway. So many amenities to use that kept us entertained all week. Caught a ton of bass and even a pike too. Excited to come back in the future.

Wonderful getaway!
Exactly what we needed-a beautiful and quiet get away on the river. The water is crystal clear and there are so many ways to enjoy it. From the beach entry to kayaks, SUP and of course just swimming! We fished off the dock, watched turtles bask in the sun and enjoyed camp fires at night. Very clean and well appointed cottage (with a Keurig machine!). The huge deck was perfect for our meals and we loved the screened in porch. Wonderful hosts, attentive and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be booking again next summer!
