We loved staying here and they were so helpful with any questions or concerns we had. The upstairs is pretty loud and you can hear people walking around. But other than that it was perfect.

I come to Avila to get out of cold weather and for health issues. This is my second year staying at this location. Coastal vacation rentals are always available for any questions although I don’t have many as they have all your needs covered. I had my adult children come to visit and stayed in one of the units which they also found quite comfortable. I appreciate the owner working with me on the price of the unit which means I can stay longer. Hope to be back next year and if unit is available may extend for 3-4 months. Thank you.

I booked this place to escape the world for a moment. And it was perfect! I My booking was handled efficiently and the instructions were very clear. The apartment was clean. The kitchen had all the necessary kitchen supplies. The bathroom could handle a person in a wheelchair. The queen sized bed was sufficient. I am not a fan of microfiber sheets, which were on the bed. The bathroom is not an en-suite. I loved sitting in the living room and looking out the window with the view down to the beach, which was less than 1/2 a block away! That was heavenly. There was off the road parking for my vehicle. The apartment is close to the Avila Beach Villlage with a smattering of restaurants and shops. I loved the complimentary cotton beach towel to use at the beach. Being a downstairs apartment there was some noise from the upstairs people. The photos in the apartment description are accurate. This a a great apartment for a solo or couple travelers looking for a relaxing time to do the beach scene in a quiet, quaint town.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows very very thin. The people upstairs were very noisy 2 of the days. Show head very low. It was for handicapped I understand however it would have been nice to know in advance while booking as I may have chosen something else. I feel it was a too pricey at 1400 for 3 nights for this place. I have paid that for much nicer places. Thr one window with view has major condensation issues because it’s a single pane. So we had to keep cleaning it to see out.

This apartment was perfect for my needs and I really enjoyed my stay. It has a great view of the beach and pier. Open the windows for a lovely fresh breeze.The linens were clean and the kitchen well stocked with cooking needs. All of the other tenants were very friendly.There is some noise from neighboring units, but it wasn't too disruptive.

We would definitely stay here, again. The location was perfect, the unit was spotless and updated, the bed was comfortable, the off-street parking was convenient and property management company was on top of everything. We were able to add a day with no hassles and check in/out was a breeze. We wished we had a deck, but the view from the sitting area was a great alternative (especially since we were only a block from the beach). My only recommendation would be to provide a couple more larger free-standing fans -- one for the bedroom and another for the living area. We will definitely be back!

We stayed from a Monday-Friday and were the only ones in the building. We had a lovely time. On Thursday a family arrived next door and we could hear actual conversations through the wall/door. The child was loud, just being a child but it made it impossible to read or nap or just think. Someone then rented the upstairs unit and the footsteps above were very loud - maybe carpet or taking off shoes would have helped. Thank goodness we were leaving the next day. We won't return because that was a LOT of money and we would not have been able to enjoy our stay if there were other people there!

The location of the property was spot on!! Beautiful view and right by the beach and restaurants and shops. It was quite hot and only one of the two small fans worked. The bed was full size, not queen. And the air mattress did not stay full with air all night. Overall great location but would not stay here again.

This property exceeded our expectations. Literally just a few steps from the beach and village restaurants. Very cute and practical layout with a nice view of the ocean and pier. Off street parking a BIG bonus. Only negative is movement in the unit above generates a fair amount of noise. We plan to return as Avila Beach is a great getaway.

The only small problem was that the air mattress was leaking air a bit - almost needs to be re-pumped in the middle of the night, but not too bad. We would Recommend this place!

Enjoyed staying at this condo. Perfect location. Would stay there again. Loved having a kitchen to cook. This condo have great view of pier and ocean which steps to beach. Close to all shops for food and gifts. Would not be a review without some of the critiques:Stayed there for multiple days but they did not supply extra towels or come to exchange or have towel service. Also like a previous renter stated I did not like having to drive to Pismo to get keys and drive back to drop off. You would think they could figure that one out better. We had renters above us and at night could hear them walking around and it was loud. Also had a neighbor last two nights next to us who was intoxicated and loud. We could hear everything and we could not wait for till this person passed out. Turned out to be minor inconvenience for us.

Good overall. Location is excellent with close proximity to the beach,cafes and restaurants. The views are spectacular. The room is not air condtitioned, and because the Windows face the south west ocean view there is a lot of heat gain.

The location was great. And the set up was good for our daughters who would go back and forth to beach or ice cream on the little strip. The first floor was perfect with the hose since we had boogie boards and sand. So if you just want beach days, this is ideal. However the bed was so uncomfortable and the tenants above us were so loud. So if you intend to stay inside all day and night in the lapse of luxury this might not be a good fit. But it worked for us and would stay again bringing along a foam mattress pad and better pillows.

We loved our little place, it was a block from the beach and just up from my favorite coffee place "joe mama's".One of the best windows in the unit ended up not being able to open so we were a little disappointed that we couldn't get that coastal breeze. It was horribly hot that weekend 96 at the coast. Bed was comfortable and enjoyed the little kitchen area and very large bathroom. You don't a nightlight because the large green exit signs will be plenty. I was hoping for a little more get away feel. I would recommend the rental company as a nice place to deal with. I would stay again, but.

It was a perfect anniversary weekend getaway. Very clean and modern. The view from the living room was spectacular! You could walk to everything in Avila, which was great. The beach was 1 block away, about a 2 minute walk. The unit was perfect size for 2 adults, bed was very comfy.

I’ve been using Coastal Vacation Rental for 4 years. My city of choice is Avila and they have an excellent selection of Avila properties. I’ve done weekend rental and months long rental and the experience had been great each and every time. I’ve mainly worked with Ken and he’s friendly and concise with all the details. Our rental was fabulous. We could see the dolphins and seals swimming in the waves right from our living room window and rush down to the beach in 2 minutes. With a coffee in hand from Kracken Coffee just a half a block away we could stand in our sweats first thing in the morning right on the beach. There is nothing like walking around Avila Beach at night when all the tourists have left and the whole place feels like your own personal town with the sound of the waves crashing and only our footsteps walking on main street.

This is a great little place. Location is one block away from the beach and all the little shops. The unit itself is very clean and well maintained. A few things to note though. Since this is in a complex there are units above, below or right next to you so sound will travel. It's not sound proof so noise will travel through the walls and ceilings.
