The property sits on a gorgeous location overlooking the ocean. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. The tide goes our very far creating a great beach for long walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Miscouche.

We have just returned to Pennsylvania. It will take me some time to get over my sadness at leaving a beautiful, magical property and the island, itself. Brian and Jacqui were superb with timely responses and continued to check in over our two week stay. Terry and Jerry were local and met any and all needs over the first few days. Highly recommend. It’s a lovely, well-furnished home with an unforgettable view.

Amazing spot, close to groceries and everything you need(about 10 min drive) while also being very private. We had the beach to ourselves a good 90% of the time. Can’t say enough good things about this one.

AC keeps kitchen, eating area and living room nice and cool. The bedrooms downstairs and upstairs get quite warm during the day. In the evening there is always a nice breeze so if you open the windows in the front bedroom it cools it down. Overall I would give this a 5 star rating. We will be returning in 2023!

Spacious cottage with room for kid space & adult space. Can’t beat the location - 10 min to Summerside, beautiful drive to Cavendish, Rustico & west coast. Down quiet red dirt road, opening up to stunning property with the cottage on the beach. A few cottages set back behind, making it feel very private, yet not isolated. Shore line is amazing for kids, and when tide goes there are kilometres of sand for kids to play on. Great kite flying & breezes! Afternoons spent bbq on huge deck. Beautiful view Confederation Bridge too! Don’t forget to head east along shoreline for a beautiful & peaceful walk as kids search for shells & crabs! Amazing property!

Lovely large property. I would of given it 5 stars for cleanliness except the BBQ was so greasy we didn’t want to cook on it. Inside everything very clean and easy to find. A good number of towels and basics. Thank you for providing a home for our wonderful trip with family.

My husband and I stayed at Brian and Jacqui's ocean front cottage for 10 wonderful days! From beginning to end, communication with them was fast and easy. The property, itself, is exactly as described! Magnificent views of the ocean from the large windows facing westward towards awesome sunsets!! Peace and quiet our entire stay! We had everything we needed to cook, which was a joy, as my husband and I are foodies! And we were a mere 14 minutes away from Summerside, which has everything you need to make your stay a home away from home - Atlantic Superstore, Sobeys, Canadian Tire, PEI Liquor, Shopper's Drug Mart, and our favourite place JMK Fishmart for the lobster and mussels. We walked on the ocean floor at low tide and saw a variety of sea life and collected shells as souvenirs. All in all, everything was fantastic! The only downside of our trip was the 1800km trip back to Ontario! We miss the cottage and the ocean already!!

My friends and I were visiting from Ontario and stayed here for a week. Collectively, we were 4 adults and 2 kids (both around 2 years old). This is a great spot for kids and adults alike; beautiful scenery, spacious and well kept inside, and fantastic location. Our favourite thing about it was being about 50 feet from the ocean, and how when the tide is out, you can walk for a couple hundred yards on the sand. Very cool, and an ideal spot for little kids, as it creates a natural little splash pad where they can run around in forever. The host, Brian, was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Our family had the absolute pleasure of staying at this beautiful Chalet for a week! The hosts, Brian and Jacqui, went above and beyond in accommodating our needs and were both kind and helpful. I hope to be able to be able to meet them one day and treat them to a lobster dinner as a token of your heartfelt thanks. The Chalet itself is a hidden gem on the south shore. The expansive deck provides a breathtaking view of the water (it's beachfront – nothing in the way to obstruct one’s view), sunrises and sunsets. If you enjoy beach-combing, you’ll love this beach at both low and high tide as you can walk for miles. We had a Bald Eagle land on the lawn, saw many Osprey’s, as well as countless other wildlife (foxes, birds, sea life, etc.). The water was warm like bathtub water. There’s a fire pit for evening S’mores, plenty of deck furniture to relax on and only steps to the beach/water. One of the features we really appreciated is the easy access to the beach – young and old could easily get to the beach and water. The Chalet itself is lovely and boasts a main floor bedroom with patio doors to the deck. This is great if you have anyone with mobility challenges. There’re two full bathrooms (one adjoining the master bedroom upstairs) and another on the main level. There’s a seating area on the second floor affording a lovely view through the floor to ceiling windows. The Chalet was beautifully appointed with everything one could need. Thank you Brian & Jacqui! This was our second stay at this property in the same summer. A first for us that really says it all - we didn’t see anything else on the island that compares! It’s private, beautiful, spacious, clean, safe (no cliff, sandy beach) with unbelievable views all day with amazing sunsets that seem different every night. It’s one of the only places you’ll find where the pictures don’t do the reality justice. Brian and Jacqui are the perfect owners and we hope to be calling them again soon.

The kids had a great time kayaking and paddle boarding in the shallow waters at high tide (~5-6 ft deep out to about 600meters offshore). The owners were extremely friendly and easy to get hold of. We had one small issue with the wifi, and Brian was extremely attentive and worked with me to correct the issue quickly. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We’re from PEI originally, and since moving away, we’ve returned every summer and have seen what we thought was the entire island. Until we found Brian and Jacqui’s oasis. This rental experience was nothing short of amazing. The view, the house, the property, the deck and the privacy are nothing short of world class. Not to mention daily sightings of bald eagles, bunnies and foxes. Even wildlife knows how special this place is. It’s the kind of place that makes you rethink where you currently live (and how) in exchange for this exact property and lifestyle. Exactly how the owners described in their story. Both low and high tides provide an enormous, private playground for any age with sunsets that blow your mind. No vacation rental works without great owners. We had incredible communication with Brian and Jacqui before, during (and hopefully after) our 18 day stay. Mainly to feedback real-life pictures that belong in magazines. We certainly plan on making this exact rental at 41 Camp Rd. our family base from now on when we return home for the summer if it doesn’t book up too fast!
