Perfect Location.

Everything was as we expected, Fabulous.

Travelled with my partner and two kids aged 13 and 11. It was a surprise stop for them and they were incredibly excited and delighted. Communication with those managing the boat was excellent, wifi was good, beds comfy and setting beautiful. Facilities at the harbour were excellent too. We had a lovely night and would definitely recommend.

We received a very warm welcome and intro to the boat from Bernie. It was well stocked for a short stay with tea, coffee, milk, water, cereal...and a bottle of prosecco! For the chillier nights, we were even supplied with an electric blanket which was a bonus. There were plenty of choices of seating areas, depending on how sunny/warm it was, and the roof deck provided great 360-degree views of the marina. No shower on board but the shower blocks were very smart and well kitted out, as were the nearby toilets. Definitely recommend The Haven for breakfast or dinner; we ate there four times and it was consistently excellent. Also, loved being able to walk straight out of the marina into the nature reserve. Perfect spot!

Took a short while to acclimatise to elements that naturally come hand in hand with boat living such as very compact spaces (will leave the suitcase behind next time!) and a lot of condensation in the mornings. Probably quicker to dry out in the summer months! But these all added character to our visit and wouldn't put me off returning.
