Clean and large shower

1- threatening message automatically sent right after booking saying 200€ deposit will be issued upon arrival, if you damage or block toilet - all expenses will be charged. It is no brainer if one creates damage, it may be charged- depending on the damage. It must be service providers responsibility to make sure drainage is proper.. Luckily I didn't block the toilet 2- the room was smelling horrible, most likely because of dirty mob used to wipe floor. Disgusting.. had to leave the window for 2 hours even though the weather was cold and no heating. didn't help much 3- no heating.. really? The radiator was metal cold in the evening and all night.. no room thermostat or something to turn it on. It is April but outside temp was ~5C It was warm in the morning.. apparently it works only when turned on by the owner 4- how to check-in leaflet in pdf is provided but only in French.. I didn't know one has to speak French or solve a puzzle

It was clean, the wifi was great and the shower hot. These are the only positive things.

The neighbour had a party on a Thursday night and after knocking 3 times at various hours, by 0200 I had, had enough, I banged on their door and all I got was a “oui” I was so angry!!! But finally they were quite! The property is on the corner of 2 busy road with traffic lights, it’s very noisy throughout all hours. I had a microwave, but to use this, you have to take it from the shelf as it’s not got any plug sockets up there or many anywhere really. A big disappointment unfortunately.
