We have stayed at Charleston Oceanfront Villas several times when visiting Folly and it is always a good, convenient choice. Such easy access to the beach, plus pools. The units sometimes show their age, but this one was in good overall condition and had everything we needed. A big place for a reasonable price, definitely recommend.

The unit is ideally located to walk to everything - the beds are comfy and the unit was clean- just needs a little attention and a few updates - and please add black out shades for the people in vaca that want to sleep in and need to black out the hallway lights all night

My husband and I go to the beach every April and this unit has the most incredible ocean views we have personally ever experienced. Even though we arrived on a rainy day, we were able to sit on the large, covered porch and watch the waves. This view is glorious inside as well, visible from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom. The unit itself is large and well laid out, with a large functional full kitchen. It was well cleaned when we arrived and had everything that we personally needed. The master bed was comfortable and with the sounds of the ocean permeating the space, we slept very well. Check in/out was easy and the beach is just a few steps away. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

This property had great views of the ocean, was very spacious and clean and had comfortable beds. It was also very conveniently located to all of the shops and restaurants. However, several of the dresser drawers were broken and could not be put back on their tracks, the non-stick pans were unusable - stained and extremely scratched up and contacting vacasa to get this resolved was not an easy process - i was bounced around from a central text messaging system to a local office to a "care taker" and had to repeat the same request multiple times as well as send pictures - this is not how i want to spend my vacation time. I also didnt appreciate that maintenance people came in during my stay to measure windows...Seems like this could have been planned in the off season, since this was a building wide thing, not in response to a problem. For these reasons, i can't give it 5 stars.

The place was great! It had a great view and ample space for our family of four. In walking distance to restaurants and shops. My family and I loved it and would definitely go back!

The minute you step in the condo, you are mesmerized by the views!! It's the perfect location for a cool weather beach vacation! You can "feel' the beach, without feeling the cold :)
The accommodations were perfect for our family of 8. Plenty of seating room in the common space for fellowship, and good space in the bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and functional and the entire space was tidy and clean. We were very pleased with everything and would love a repeat visit!
If I could be nit picky and give any feedback - it would be - - - hangers in the closets or more drawer space. . .and the request to 'leave parking passes in the room upon departure" resulted in us getting a bit scolded by a garage attendant who observed us with no tag, but no big deal, a little common sense telling him we were leaving solved that problem :)

Recently upgraded and was better than pictured. Several TVs to entertain the kids. More than adequate utensils and other kitchen needs. Only two negative issues, no hangers and the air conditioning filter was hanging out and filthy felt like we were breathing dirt. Called maintenance and took several days to get action. Other than that it was perfect

This was perfect to be able to bring my mother and grandmother. The unit is just across from the elevator which is what we needed. The view was amazing. My grandmother got to experience her first sunrise on the beach. The trip was priceless.

We knew we were taking a chance going to the beach in January, but it was far better than we expected. The villa was as promised. Everything we might need and more. Everything was in working order and we had a very lovely time.

Ocean comes right up to the property. Property is gated (arm that raises and lowers) and fenced. Parking is nice and open with plastic shopping carts to aid in unloading/loading your things. FOB controlled gates to pool and beach access. Easy walk to center of town. I've stayed many times on Folly. This is now on my list of favorites I'd stay at again.

I loved being walking distance to everything on Folly. The unit was nice. However there were a couple issues. The windows/sliding doors were so dirty I thought they were fogged up. We had to clean them to see the ocean. Cracker crumbs on both couches and sand on several of the upholstered cushions. All in all, the unit was nice and included everything we needed. The beds, baths and kitchen were clean. Walls seemed to be recently painted. I would stay there again.
