This condo has everything we needed. Loved that it has a bedroom on the main level. The pool was great to have. After the beach we would go to the condo, have lunch and go to the pool. The condo was close walking distance to bars, restaurant's and the beach. Loved it and would stay there again!

My group loved the location. Just a 10 min walk to all of the action in Folly Beach. The house was clean and spacious. The twin beds were very stiff and the TVs were small and out of date (over 10 years old). Overall we enjoyed our stay.

It was clean but the overall the ductwork had black mold growing on the registers the garage was dirty other than that it was pretty good

We had a wonderful time visiting Folly Beach. The condo itself… great location. Within walking distance. But the garage door was broken and wired open leaving it unable to close the entire trip. This caused restless sleep and an uneasy unsafe feeling. I contacted management but no one came to fix it. My daughter slept in one of the twins and every night I had to remove and kill little beetle like bugs before she could sleep. The condo needs a DEEP clean. Simply buying a new toilet seat for the master bathroom would have been nice. When the seat is worn with the paint worn through to visible see the brown base under, it’s time for an update.

Great time. Beautiful area but the property could use general maintenance and some updates. The beds alone would keep me from renting this particular property again.

The actual VRBO was okay. The listing was accurate, but there were many basics that were lacking, including enough silverware. There were some issues that should have been addressed before we arrived, but since our experience with the managing company was so bad, we did not call on them (we did tell them about the vent that was not on appropriately, the shower curtain that was about a foot too long, and some other minor issues after we left so they could fix for future guests). The managing company was terrible about communication. We asked them to please let us know when there would be someone to there to fix the garage door and the non working toilet and people just showed up. Vacasa is not impressive as a hosting company.

1. 2-queen beds were advertised, but they were full -sized…uncomfortable for two.
2. Very small and Oder TVs
3. Garage door code did not work; texted the number; Vacasa said “We will contact the local management and they will contact you soon.” No one contacted us during our 4-day stay.
4. Poor amenities . No beach towels, salt & pepper, only one extra blanket, no extra bath towels.
We have stayed in several other units in the same area for years but this one was the worst and we will not rent here again POOR reflection on VACASA…will probably not rent through VACASA Again!!!

This is the second time we’ve stayed in this community and we love the water view location and the short walk to town and the beach. The property itself was fine, but not as nicely appointed as the one we stayed in last year. Furniture and mattresses were showing quite a bit of wear and the kitchen wasn’t well stocked, but we didn’t spend that much time inside so it didn’t impact our vacation at all.

Good option-not perfect
Spacious space with three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Quiet. Sparse which on one hand is good with no extra clutter but small details missed like moldy vents and caulking to be redone in the bathrooms. All over it was very clean and would stay there again. Just wanted them to fix those little details.

The entire condo looks like cleaning and maintenance has been deferred for quite sometime. Walls are disgusting and covered with things like lipstick, mouthwash, brown goop, etc. I had to wash all sheets because they had black hair all over then had to buy new shower curtains because they were so stained and one had poop splatters. There was trash everywhere. It literally looks like they dry wiped counters, emptied trash cans, changed sheets(that had hair on them) and set out towels. Nevermind the fact that nothing had been dusted in a very long time. It is CLEAR this place isnt cleaned well at all most of the time as it was filthy and maintenance is obviously deferred frequently. To name a few maintenance issues- The twin bed headboards are about to fall off one side table barely stands up, light bulbs are out, 3 lamps were non functional, black mold was on bathroom ceilings. The pictures were very deceiving and we were so disappointed with this property.

Nice place close to town
Spacious unit offers pretty view of the Folly river. Close to town, walk to everything. It does need some routine maintenance (two of the toilets run, the glass in master br door is fogged), but I'm guessing that will soon been taken care of.

Charleston, S C vacation
Lovely home, had everything we needed and was with in a short distance to most everything we wanted to see and do! Close great restaurants! We absolutely had no problems with this unit or communication problems. Would definitely rent it again!

Comfortable and convenient
The house was very comfortable and is just blocks to the beach and restaurants on Folly Beach. The porches offer a great view of the river. I enjoyed watching the sunset from the community pier. It was convenient to all attractions around Charleston. My family had a great time. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great overall, but several plumbing issues: (1) two tubs with slow draining; one clogged after second use, (2) leak under kitchen sink, (3) broken flush handle in upstairs bathroom. Told two maintenance tickets were "closed", flush problem never fixed, and replacement disposal delivered but never installed.

I enjoyed staying at this property. I was surprised to find beach chairs and an umbrella stored in the garage! The location of the house was a lot closer to the beach than I was expecting. We rented a golf cart, but unless we had a lot to carry, the walk was nice and short. Only thing I would change would be the addition of blinds in the master bedroom. We loved this house. Very nice little neighborhood, a couple of blocks to the beach and downtown Folly. The house was spacious and clean. It was so nice to have views of the river. Vacasa's customer service was really great too, it was nice to have a real person who was able to help us with anything we needed during our stay.

Perfect Place
The location is perfect- beautiful water views, pool, dock, and close to the beach and restaurants. We saw lots of marsh wildlife right outside our door. And there’s an outdoor hose and shower for rinsing off sand. There was more than enough room for family of 5+. We had everything we needed including a washer/dryer......and, best of all....a Keurig!

Nice to be home
As a person born and raised on folly I think I had high expectations for our stay. They were met! The place was clean. We could have used an trash bag and the chairs on the deck were broken, otherwise it was perfect. The view was amazing and the staff was very helpful and had great response time. Would definitely stay again!

Place was a great location, I really liked decor. Everything was walking distance. One thing I would do differently is bring more beach towels, trash bags and toilet paper.
