Wooden Villa (2pax) - this is a traditional 'Kampong' Villa set in a private estate of 5 villas - the 'wooden' villa is closest to the pool - first and foremost, the site manager Eddy is an exceptional host who truly goes out of his way to help with every little detail (from transport assistance to restaurant suggestions - just ask, he's so friendly) - secondly, the villa kitchen is fully equipped for 'self service' stays albeit a bit rudimentary - the location is quiet and relaxing, the pool is good, the bed is comfy, the shower is good, and both aircon and wifi are good - the villa balcony is perfect to sit with a glass of wine or beer and just read a book !! - if you want a value for money 'get away break' you couldn't find better on Langkawi

there are monkeys in the adjoining forest plot - do not feed or encourage them - they are fun to watch but are also little thieves !!

Alamanda Villas are amazing. We can definitely recommend the Malay traditional houses. The place is calm and peaceful. If you are looking for a place to slow down without the typical touristic noise and stuff than go for the villas. You can experience the beautiful nature. It felt like a private stay as there are just a few other villas there. The infinity pool and the whole compound are great. Eddy, the host, was formidable. He arranged everything for us and was always helpful even beyond our stay at Alamanda.

Our host Saidi was excellent. We loved the pool. The Markisa villa was great for our family of four.

No breakfast for the guests, secondly, we were on the top of the hills so grab drivers doesnt want to climb up the hills while picking and dropping. If you have cars then YOU should plan to go there.

Such a great escape from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful tranquil place which lets you feel like you are the only ones there. Easy to grab food delivery and the most helpful staff Saidi even took us to the shops. Loved watching the wildlife from our balcony. Would love to come back one day.

We loved the calm and quiet environment. It was like the whole place belongs to us. The birds chirping and the owners cat came to visit us once in a while. It was a lovely feeling. The pool with overlooking nature view is a plus. We checked in on my wife birthday. They surprised us with a birthday cake, and welcome chocolate. It is so thoughtful experience. Saidi was there to welcome us, passes us the key and gave a brief about the villa. Very attentive and helpful. The villa is complete with all the basic necessity as a self catered stay.
