Ampio monolocale con piccolo angolo cottura attrezzato con frigorifero e lavastoviglie, forno a microonde e lavandino, NO fornello o forno. Bello e pulito, relativamente nuovo. Abbastanza tranquillo, l'appartamento si trova sul retro dell'edificio, la strada principale è Fitzroy. Intrattenimento senza fine in StKilda!
Vivace e vivo con la strana dormiente grezza, sparpagliata nel sobborgo. Detto questo, potresti anche non accorgertene, mi piace solo sottolineare tutto per evitare potenziali lamentele su St Kilda. La strada di Fitzroy sta finalmente prendendo vita dopo molti anni di negozi vuoti, c'è ancora poco da fare, ma siamo così entusiasti di vedere la sua progressione negli ultimi mesi. L'ultima serie di THE BLOCK di Channel 9 ha visto 2 edifici trasformati in meravigliosi condomini, uno è proprio dall'altra parte della strada, il vecchio Gatwick Hotel, l'altro a due passi da Gray Street. Il più grande Gay Pride Center del mondo è a pochi mesi dal completamento, ci aspettiamo tutti che si aggiunga alla straordinaria atmosfera della zona. È a solo un isolato di distanza. Sono qui per aiutarti con consigli e conoscenze locali, non esitare a chiamare mentre sei qui!

It's the perfect nook right by the city! You have direct access to trams and perfectly located near st kilda beach with some local pubs and restaurants around!

I honestly booked this place because it was the most affordable, not shared unit, that is not too far from CBD, and actually pleased with the location. It is SUPER convenient to travel around because the stop for Tram 3/3a, 16, 96 is right in front of the front door, and Tram 12 is just few minutes away.
However, this convenience comes with a price. Tram 96 is an overnight tram so expect the tram noises the whole night. It may not bother you so much if you are a deep sleeper, but if you need peace and quiet to sleep, bring some ear-plugs :)
To note: there’s NO ELEVATOR in the building. To get to the room you have to climb around 20steps of stairs. So this may be more suitable for a short-term stay with only a cabin luggage or not-so-heavy one.
The “hallway” is also a balcony, so the room’s door is immediately open to outside air. It feels amazing when it’s sunny (I stayed during winter time), the sunlight shines through the big window and warm up the whole room. But it can be troublesome when it’s rain because the hallway would be wet.
The best thing about this stay was actually the service. Pearl Apartment team cares about their customers and they really went all out to ensure I had a comfortable stay. They were very responsive and attentive! They added few things that are listed here in their page but couldn’t be found in property in no time after I requested them.
Recommended for: solo traveler or couple with less luggages (not so much storage space).

Rude staff members to talk to. When you keep your stuff even your friends come to see you for some hours they charge you for that. Rubbish service. My parents stayed there for 1 month. Staff is very racist.

St Kilda is known to be edgy and Fitzroy st is no exception. The room is close to everything. Tram across the road and Woolworths Metro really close. Great pubs and plenty of places to eat. Secure parking at the rear. Room is super quite given the main road. The only downside is that it is a “walk up”. So don’t bring heavy luggage. Everything else is great and I’d certainly stay again
