Zentrale Lage in Ansbach

Kein persönlicher Kontakt, Rezeption in einem alten Flur bestehend aus Schreibtisch und Stuhl, keiner anwesend. Das Treppenhaus gleicht einer Baustelle mit kaputten Fenstern, Türen, Wänden, Treppen, Decken. Die Zimmer eine Katastrophe. Wände dreckig und kaputt, abgewohntes billigstes Inventar. Dusche verkalkt. Viel viel zu teuer.

Reception is by call only, but not answering the phone and not calling back either. Soap holders in the bathroom were empty. No water kettle (room description said it was included). Restructuring works ongoing - should be mentioned at the time of booking Given all of the above, completely overpriced

Due to a price error from their side (yes the price was cheap but I had a confirmed booking) they asked me to cancel and told me they wouldn't let me in (at least up-front via phone). Therefore decided short notice as I didnt hear back from booking to change my travel route and not stay over night in Ansbach....

It was clean. So for 1-2 nights it was fine.

It was old, old carpet floor, only a small desk and bed. For half the price, it would be ok. And for 1-2 days.

location: 8 min. by walk from/to Ansbach Hbf, just next to the city center area, bus stop in front of the hotel. staff: helpful keys for both side of the gate and the door of the room room: simple and clean, with one closet, desk and a big and separated shower and toilet. sockets by bedside and doorside, satellite TV, free wifi, heating, hot water, water pressure all fonctional.

the followings are not problems for me personally just for reference: no elevator. reception is on the first floor in the middle of the stairway, surrounding kind under construction or redecoration? make people doubted. windowside by the road and doorside not soundproof enough but while i sleep not heard any noise. unfortunately, my bathroom’s light broke right after i settled.

the hallways were dark, the rooms were small so I had to duck through every door, the room smelled like smoke, the main stairwell seemed always dirty, and the lobby was a mess.
