location on a golf course was lovely

breakfast only started at 8.30 so no good for business use Wi-Fi didn’t work in my room so had to sit in kitchenette area to use owner not willing to issue a Vat receipt even though I had requested this on booking .com no food after 5.30 pm

Lovely modern comfortable room in a separate building on the grounds of the golf club. Extremely peaceful location - our room looked over the pond and the 4th fairway. The included breakfast in the main building was superb. The price of £99 for this was exceptional value for money.

Really not much at all. The TV in the room was tiny - that's about it!

The bedroom had windows either end which gave lovely views over the golf course and Woodsome Hall. Very clean with comfortable beds. The shower room although small was more than adequate. Shampoo, shower gel and hand wash was provided. Nice touch was free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits The cooked breakfast was very good, as was the evening meal Staff were very helpful and friendly Very quiet and peaceful place to stay

Very disappointing buffet breakfast. No freshly baked breads Danish pastries, or fruit bowl which was on the menu. On our first morning I asked for fruit compote , the waitress did find some, about 3 teaspoons! However, the next morning there was a bowl of compote, but no fresh bread, I was offered sliced bread. Not quite the same! No pastries or fruit bowl. It was stated that there was a full housekeeping service daily. We did not have any. We did not feel we needed clean towels after one use so left them on the radiator as requested. As we could not get the radiator turned on the towels were still damp the following morning

Friendly staff, modern comfy room. Beautiful veiw of course.

The breakfast was very good with the surroundings be an excellent one small point I believe the signs could have been more explicit as you were left floundering around looking for the entrance perhaps this could've been mentioned when booking but very impressed with the surroundings the room and staff I will try to book maybe four or five days when I next visit the area and I will bring my golf clubs thank you Ron Bixley

We’ve just got back from a nights stay and absolutely loved it , it was so warm and welcoming we could of stayed longer , my only issue was the pillows were very hard but that’s just me , fabulous place would love an excuse to come back

No one available to speak to. No one at the hotel to let me in the electric gate. Literally had to book some where else and I was alone and very anxious

Location was beautiful, the room was a very good standard.

Unfortunately, room 3 is right next to the entrance. Plus the room access door has a very large gap at the bottom due to an uneven floor, so every noise from the entrance and corridor light turning on absolutely disturbs your sleep. So other guests returning late or early hours of the morning and then those leaving early wake you up, so although a lovely quiet location the ingress and egress of occupants destroyed that.

Beautiful location. Rooms very spacious and comfortable bed. Clean. Staff very helpful and polite.

The dress code is very strict and we couldn't have breakfast or drinks in the bar.

Nicely cooked full English breakfast, served by lovely attentive staff. The bar area for the evening meal was very cosy, nice atmosphere (again - the friendliness of the staff) made the difference. Evening meal was excellent, good value.

Bedroom and bathroom on suite, could have been a bit larger.

All was delightful. There was a big Golf weekend in progress, of which I was not part, but the Staff and everyone I met, went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. The beautiful setting was an added delight.
