Siamo sul lato pubblico del lago che ha accesso in barca a tutti i ristoranti e porti turistici locali. Siamo a circa 15 minuti in auto da Food Lion (negozio di alimentari), a 10 minuti in auto dal Dollar General. Lake Anna Winery è a 8 minuti lungo la strada. Siamo a circa 35 minuti dal centro di Fredericksburg, 1 ora da Charlottesville, 1 ora da Richmond, 45 minuti a Kings Dominion e circa 1 ora e 40 minuti da DC.

La nostra casa confortevole ti dà una classica atmosfera da casa sul lago! L'ampio ponte avvolgente offre molto spazio per distendersi e godersi il sole. L'area comune a livello aperto di livello superiore offre molta luce e accesso al grande ponte superiore. Il grande camino in pietra a due piani offre una vera atmosfera da casa sul lago e un meraviglioso calore in inverno. È un grande spazio per giocare, rilassarsi e godersi una buona compagnia. La grande cucina aperta è completamente attrezzata. Lavatrice e asciugatrice si trovano al largo della cucina. Wifi in tutta la casa. Infine, rilassati sulla comoda sezione in pelle nella zona di intrattenimento al piano inferiore fornita di tonnellate di film e cavo per lasciare il posto a una fantastica serata al cinema alla fine di una lunga giornata sul lago piena di azione.

La prima camera da letto al piano di sotto ha due letti a castello. La seconda camera al piano di sotto ha un letto matrimoniale con accesso al ponte inferiore e splendide viste sul lago. L'ultima camera da letto al piano di sotto ha anche un letto matrimoniale, accesso al ponte inferiore e splendide viste.

This house was gorgeous and absolutely perfect to get away. It’s in a cozy, secluded spot in the lake. Sadly, due to weather we weren’t outside much but the house has everything you could need and more! If they allowed dogs we’d 100% be back!!

We enjoyed our stay at Serenity Cove. The house is in such a peaceful place with great views of the lake. The kitchen has everything you’d ever need. Beds were comfortable as well as couches. The bathrooms are beautiful! Would definitely recommend staying here.

We have a small group of 10-12 "old high school and college friends" who have been re-uniting off-and-on since 1976 (a great group of close, dear friends)! This was our first visit to Serenity Cove - Bumpass, VA., and we LOVED it! Excellent location on Lake Anna, a terrific/peaceful spot on the lake, and a nice/comfortable home. Our group had a wonderful week!!!

The house was large, but a little dated. The location on the lake and lot were awesome. The power went out the first night of our stay. I contacted the owner the next morning and was told that I needed to check the status of the outage on the power company's website. When I went there, I discovered that the outage had not even been reported. So I called the power company and reported it. The representative initially said that they didn't provide service to the address. I found the meter and gave him that serial number and he then found the service account. The company then sent a crew to resolve the issue. I think that shouldn't have been the guest's responsibility to resolve the problem. Weather didn't cooperate, but there were plenty of games and movies to keep everyone satisfied. The wifi was far superior to other Lake Anna homes.

The house and property are even nicer than the pictures could capture! There are three lovely inside common spaces and multiple decks. Four full baths made this ideal for our crew. Our only regret was that we were in town for a wedding and had little time to enjoy it!

The location is secluded and Blount Cove great for fishing. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and loved the layout of the upstairs. New bathrooms were nice. The main room and one of the bedrooms had no screens so no way to let fresh air in without letting bugs and critters in too. Mouse droppings were in three of the kitchen drawers so had to wash all utensils and some dishes before using. Garbage disposal stopped working and no one came to service it so we only had one sink for washing dishes. It would have been nice to have a table at the dock.

House was great, check in process was seamless, the owner gave detailed instructions how to access the driveway as GPS misroutes you.
We were unclear about how to access the kayaks as we only saw one small device on the dock with one life jacket, but besides that everything was great.

Fun family memories
We have always done a beach vacation and changed it up this year to a lake vacation! We couldn’t have loved this more! The house was perfect for us, the property was great, the lake and dock was awesome! Loved that we were in a cove and felt safe letting younger ones swim and kayak with no fear of speeding boats. We rented a boat for the week too and had no issues docking it at the house. Fantastic time and want to do it again!

EVERYTHING we needed/wanted!
We were a large group, ranging in ages from 18-55, comprised of my siblings and lots of nieces and nephews - a large, active bunch of people. The private bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable, with super-soft sheets and comfortable mattresses. The 4 full baths were HUGELY needed; the three I saw were impeccably renovated with luxurious towels and clean, modern decor. With a large crowd and limited eating out options, we prepared all meals at the house; this is the first time that we have ever had a kitchen that had EVERYTHING we needed to cook for a large crowd -lots of utensils, sharp knives, pots/pans, dishware, cutlery, etc. The large island in the kitchen was a huge asset. Laundry area was super spacious. Three separate "hang-out" areas gave everyone a chance to split off and socialize or find quiet. The massive deck facing the lake had lots of furniture with comfortable cushions and an outdoor table. We did bring extra lakeside chairs, but the ones provided were easy to move and plentiful. The dock and ladder were pristine and well-kept; the boat tie ups were used as well. Private, quiet cove location was perfect with the sun shining on the lakefront almost the entire day, ending in the sunset spilling across the lake towards the shoreline. With multiple entrances into the house, we all came and went with ease. Also, there is great walking right from the driveway; we walked 6 miles every day with hardly seeing a car. LAST, but not LEAST, Gavin is very responsive to any needs!

We had a love time at this property. Home has plenty of room to spread out or gather together. We enjoyed swimming from the dock, having campfires and boating on the lake. Excellent location!

Beautiful Property
Serenity Cove was just that, serenity. Very quiet neighborhood and location on the lake. Public side allowed access for rental boats to be docked at the property. House was very clean, perfect for our family of ten to stay there comfortably. Gavin was quick to respond to questions. Only negative (a minor one at that) was that the ice maker was very slow. We were aware of this ahead of time, and supplemented with store-bought ice, so it wasn't a huge deal. Would consider this again for our family vacation in the future!

We came for a family wedding nearby. This was a great alternative to several hotel rooms.

Perfect Holiday Retreat
The property exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room to stretch out a large extended family. The bedrooms are spacious. There is an extraordinary amount of space inside and outside to gather with the family. The dock is great. I even caught a fish and told stories by a campfire. Incredible experience for me and my family.

Very nice stay for 4 adults. We enjoyed having a workable kitchen and large separate bedrooms. Loved the dock and fire pit. Kayaking was available but we didn’t use as we were just happy sitting in the sun and admiring the views. Beautiful fall weekend getaway!

This was such a good place to stay! So comfortable for 7 adults and 3 kids. Kitchen had all that we needed for dinners, beds were comfortable, and the views beautiful! Fished and kayaked even in November! We hope to come back again- our boys are already talking about it.

Okay...but no jacuzzi
Location of property was beautiful. House was definitely big enough very roomy,cozy and welcoming. One of the things I was looking forward to was the jacuzzi however I recieved an email saying that it was not working .I was very disappointed. when I arrived I could understand why it didn't work it was a very very old jacuzzi. Canoe was usable but seats had holes. Dont get me wrong it was beautiful just needs some updates maybe and should not have listed it with the jacuzzi.

Amazing Get Away!
The house is huge, well supplied and comfortably decorated. The four queen bedrooms each include a sitting area for privacy and beautiful views. Three decks/patios adjacent to the home include ample, comfortable seating, and inside there are also three group sitting areas. As nice as the house is, the outside area is even better! The area by the lake (located on a relatively private cove,) is well maintained with ample areas for kids to safely play and swim. We loved this home!

Wonderful, peaceful view of the lake. The three common area living rooms makes it easy for people to spread out and relax. Kitchen had everything we needed and the dock and firepit area are wonderful outside living spaces to enjoy. Overall very lovely and we would stay there again. We do, however, also like to give a full balanced reviews for other future rentersItems that held it back from a 5-star review from our experience:- Linens were supposed to be there upon arrival, but were not. We contacted the owner a few times until we got him, but then the linens finally did arrive at 9:30 PM. Delayed the kids getting to bed - There were some cleanliness challenges: Cigarette butts, empty cans, corn cobs around property. Rings around the toilets, moldy stains in shower- Assuming we just got a bad luck there -( which can happen sometimes with a rental) there were also a few infrastructure items that prevent it from a 5-star rating in our mind 1) No screens on the sliding glass doors. Have to choose between fresh air and bugs 2) The biggest item is the unsafety of the master bath that has the jacuzzi tub. Trying to crawl in and over the porcelain steps to take a shower when there are no grab handles is an accident waiting to happen. Depending on your age/mobility this one item could be a non-starter for picking this rental above others. 3) The only tv on the main level is in the one mbr..... if you're out on the lake not a big deal at all--- but if its a long rainy week it could be a factor...
