Questa casa sul lungolago ha molto spazio per riunirsi in famiglia o gruppi di amici o per trascorrere un po 'di tempo a parte. Lo spazio abitativo di livello principale ha due camere da letto, un bagno, cucina, soggiorno, ampia zona pranzo interna e un grande ponte con vista sul lago. This was the perfect location with an absolutely beautiful view of Lake Wallenpaupack, access to everything we needed, and lots of opportunities for "adventures and exploring" right on the property. We had a glorious time with our eight grandchildren ranging from 15 months to almost 10 years old. A quote from four of our grandchildren (ages 3 - 5), "We got to live in the woods when we came to the "Coconos" (child speak for Poconos)! There was enough room for everyone and the apartment over the garage was a great help. We rented a boat, were right across from Cairns Island (picnic area and a beach), swam off the dock, appreciated the "No wake" zone in front of the property, did nature focused scavenger hunts, enjoyed the fire pit, shared the deck with a resident squirrel and chipmunk, and were thankful for the two large tables on the porch where we could do activities, do our annual cousin birthday party, have family dinners, and celebrate our 50th anniversary with our entire family! We were so thankful that Jeanine recommended that we bring life jackets for all of the children - they were essential and got lots of use. We were provided with all the information we needed ahead of time and Jeanine was extremely responsive to any questions/details pertinent to our family. We will always remember the treasured memories we have of spending time with our children, their spouses, and our grandchildren in a place that was magical, practical, and gloriously beautiful!

We had a week long stay with fourteen family members and a small dog, it couldn’t have worked out better! The layout gives plenty of space to gather or quiet separation. The quiet dock location was one of the best on the lake!

We had a large group of friend and family. The house was very accommodating especially with the two bedroom detached apartment. The deck overlooks the lake was awesome and the location on the lake was wonderful. The fire pit was very nice for evening smores. Definitely going to return.

Wonderful space on a beautiful lake! Plenty of room to spread out! Pool table & ping pong was a bonus. Perfect for a large family! Drive way is tricky! A little difficult to manage with an elderly person or someone with mobility issues! Overall wonderful place!

House was just as described. Plenty of room for our family of 12 to spread out. The apartment was perfect for the teens to have their own space yet still be part of our celebration. The only downside is the steep terrain. This is in the description but should definitely be considered in case you have very young/elderly members in the group. Beautiful view and location is convenient to everything.

Beautiful property. Outside needs some attention, weeds etc but it's a wooded lot with a lot of wildlife to watch. The deer, chipmunks and squirrels come really close. Bald eagles are amazing. The inside was clean and well stocked. The layout functioned perfectly for our large group. Only complaints would be that the mattresses in the apartment are very uncomfortable and the lower level bathroom needs to be enclosed. The owners were great and so easy to deal with. Overall we had a great time!

We stayed here for an extended family trip. Between the main house and the apartment over the garage we had plenty of space (and even a little to spare) for our family of 13 people. The property is in a great location and easy to get to attractions but we really felt like we had lots of privacy. The dock was great with enough room for us to have a couple boats and a bunch of us hanging out there together. The kids enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming in the cove off the dock. The steps up and down from the house are no joke!! We normally planned to stay down there for a few hours at a time to avoid going up them too much. The outdoor deck off the main floor of the house was also very spacious for us to hang out when we weren’t at the water. There is a bald eagle’s nest a couple properties down so we had a chance to see them flying around quite a bit. There were even two hanging out on the roof of our garage to greet us the first day of our stay. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great place to stay with friends or family. Tons to do. The property owners have done a very nice job of have everything you really need everywhere you need it. From all the fire places/ heaters on the decks to the fire pit to the lake access. It’s truly a great place to stay. All the amenities you could ever need and more. Saw a bald eagle right off the front deck.

This house was clean, simple, and just the space we needed for our small retreat. Plenty of appliances in the kitchen and Jeanine was excellent communicator and host!

We had a great weekend! The house was huge and slept us all comfortably. It was very clean and had all that we needed. Jeanne was very responsive and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I highly recommend!

From start to finish, renting this property was a dream. Communication with the owner was great and I can't say enough good things about the property. Check in was easy via lockbox and house was walk in ready. The kitchen and living areas were spacious with room for everyone to relax, watch a movie, play a game, etc. Lots of sleeping area and beds were comfy! The AC units kept the house cool during a hot week, so no complaints there! All basic amenities were available on site.....dishes, cookware, laundry, cleaning products, spices, etc. The decks were a beautiful spot to enjoy the outdoors and the private dock was awesome to hang out on; we fished, floated, kayaked and enjoyed the lake all week! Our group did include all adults; note there are a lot of steps from the house to the dock, so it may be more difficult with young children, but not undoable. The location is great - we visited Promised Land State Park and Claws n Paws Animal Park during our stay....both within 30 minutes of the house. Overall, an amazing family vacation in a lovely home in a great location. Highly recommend!!

Nine family members stayed at this large wonderful property near Cairns Island. Accommodations were perfect for our family and I highly recommend this property. The hosts are wonderful and replied quickly to all questions we had. Jeanine, thank you so much for your hospitality.

Family vacation 2022
The lake was beautiful and the house was big enough that we always felt we had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. We didn’t use the community center at all. We tied floats up to the dock and spent all day down on the water. The one thing I would say that we could have used is a portable canopy because for most of the day there is no shade on the doc.

Wonderful family vacation home
This was a great house for a full family vacation. We had 16 people, 4 separate families, aged 6 to 66. The house had plenty of rooms and space to spread out. It was stocked with everything you could need for a perfect getaway. The only issue was the stairs to the lake. We were definitely warned, but those stairs are no joke. Be warned, they are not for the elderly or those with carrying age children. Would absolutely book this house again!

This home was awesome to stay at. Jeanine was super nice and responded to any question that we had very quickly. The fire pit was great to hang around at night time. House was super clean and taken care of. Looking forward to renting again!

Our hosts were outstanding! Property was full supplied and is probably one of the cleanest I have ever stayed at. It met every need for our large group. Communication from the host was superior.

Lovely property on the lake
We had such a great time staying at this property. Even though the lake level was down (which we were told about) we still took the kayaks out and were able to explore the island across from the property (100% recommend doing). My husband even found some arrow heads out there. It is close eniugh to the Promise Land State park to enjoy hiking there as well. We had fun playing ping pong, pool, and having a camp fire each evening.
If you are bothered by dog hair, please remember they do allow pets for an extra fee. My 1 year old often had dog hair all over her from crawling on the floors and found dog food multiple times.
Communication with owners was fabulous. They responded so quickly and even helped ship sunglasses that we accidentally left behind.

Pocono's are great in the fall, lots of great hiking, campfires, family fun.
We enjoyed our stay but would suggest the home be listed with 5 bedrooms. It is not shown in the pics that the 6th bedroom is actually a bathroom with a bed in it. A toilet and sink in a room with a bed(queen with single bunk) and no walls separating them does not equate to a bedroom.
Other than that the house was ok, well equipped kitchen, linens, etc.

Family time at Lake Wally
The property was just the right size to accommodate our family reunion. The apartment allowed us to spread out. Although the kitchen is on the smaller side, we enjoyed the large tables in the sun porch for dining. We found many useful items in the kitchen including spices. Our family enjoyed many activities like kayaking and paddling right off the dock, playing pool in the game room, and roasting s’mores in the conveniently located fire pit . The owners were responsive and helpful. The home is in a little cove with a lot of boat activity. Of course, like many places on the lake, there is a steep walk down to the dock - so we were sure to be prepared with a small cooler and chairs so we could stay down there for a while. A good time was had by all.

Overdue Family Gathering
We had a wonderful time enjoying family from different parts of the country, at the lake, over the 4th of July week. It was a family reunion. We were able to spend time at the lake and pool with grandchildren, and had some good campfires. We also visited with siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and old friends. It is a great location with plenty of room. Jeanine and Kurt were very helpful in addressing any questions quickly. Thank you for sharing your home.

Amazing Atmosphere
Stayed at this property with 17 friends for Memorial Day Weekend and could have been more pleased. The owners were very helpful with everything and answered all questions we had. The house itself was beautiful and clean. It was more than enough room for a big group. The backyard was a great hangout spot as there were multiple places to relax either at the deck, fire pit, or dock to sit out and enjoy the lake. 10/10 experience

The house was very clean and the owners were friendly and quickly responsive to any issues my group had. Only downside was the driveway was quite steep so not having 4WD can be an issue when it snows. Other than that it was a beautiful property and I would definitely stay here again!

Paradise In The Poconos
We rented this property for six days hoping to decompress after eleven continuous months of work and pandemic stress. We ended up with eight guests, plus my wife and I. To say there was enough room in this home is an understatement. Everything was clean. There was a fully stocked kitchen and all linens and towels were provided. On top of that the view from the back decks, which overlook the lake, were magnificent. The community is constantly full of meandering wildlife. We saw lots of deer, eagles, woodpeckers and wild turkeys. The owners were so right about everything being available, all that was required was to fill the EMPTY, absolutely clean fridge. That doesn't happen in a hotel . . . full size fridge! Immediate responses to our questions and memories of the Blue Moon rising on Halloween night over the ridge was incredible and will stay with us forevermore. Definitely hoping to experience this Lake House again!

Stairs!
Be prepared for many stairs down to the lake. The listing did indicate mountain top home. A workaround is to pick up elderly at the nearby marina for boat rides.

Family Getaway
Our small family enjoyed our stay at the lake. House was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room to relax. Spent lots of time on the porch. Stairs and dock area can be a little challenging to negotiate for kids and seniors. Many bald eagles flying over the dock. We also caught many bass right off the dock.
