Scenic views

Woken from 6am each morning from pubs bottles thrown into bins underneath bedroom windows , cafe underneath with loud music and awful attitude( owners tenants would you believe) kegs of beer delivered very early dropped underneath main bedroom . Pub next door had revellers under the window til all hours . Beds not so comfy definately wont fit two teenagers in and blow up bed deflates during the night ,sofa bed is only really suitable for an overnight stay. All future holidayers should weigh up whether the view is worth the early mornings and late night noise. Quaint village ,not so quaint staying , dont expect much sleep . Real shame as this was our first family holiday in 3 years :(

Excellent location, nicely decorated, good shower. Wine honesty box was nice.

The bed was uncomfortable, had some very early starts due to bad lower back pain (no back problems normally)

Great location right on the harbour. Everything you could possibly want was there, a real home from home. Definitely had the wow factor.

Warm, welcoming and cozy cottage. Thoughtful decor and many high spec amenities. Fabulous location next to the harbour. Could easily access favourite walks and spectacular scenery. Helpful owner.

From opening the front door to the warmth, I knew I’d picked a good place to stay. Warm, bright and clean throughout. A tree put up for us and lights on the balcony as we were there over Christmas 👌 Everything I needed to cook with in the Kitchen 👍 The bed was really comfy, really lovely linen and towels too! Good Wi-Fi, didn’t really use the TV as we took our laptops to use. Parked right outside for free every night (probs not as good in busy season) 😃 great communication from the owner 😍 We would definitely stay again 👌👌👌

We liked everything!!! But reading a few comments in the guest book I should say that the property is attached to a pub (this wasn’t open every night of our stay) and is right by the roadside. Therefore you may hear people down below on the street at closing time, we did one night as lots of surfers came to town overnight. Was not a problem to us as up later than usual being on holiday! Also a cafe below, wasn’t open so not a problem but again you may hear people outside during peak holiday time. Also bear in mind you can hear the sea in the bedroom (old single glazed). For us this was lovely! Basically what I’m trying to say is take ear plugs if noise sensitive and don’t blame the property 👍🤯 it really is a lovely place to stay!

Spacious, clean and modern decor still keeping the older character. Location was brilliant and the views amazing with coastal walks on the doorstep. Excellent communication from owner throughout. would highly recommend.

can’t complain about anything but just as a little tip, with older features of the cottage some of the doorways a on the lower side in particular from the bedroom to the bathroom so remember to duck. I wouldn’t change such characteristics features but it’s worth the heads up lol

Loved it all. Location was superb. Apartment had all facilities you could want and could cater for extra couple too. Bed comfy, lovely hot water and shower facilities, two loos. Airy and spacious. Very easy access to cable car, shops, cafes and restaurants and walks.

Nothing really. Just two suggestions: Perhaps blackout blinds over the existing ones or less see through blinds and mirror in hall downstairs.

Location was brilliant, view was amazing.

Loved the location, waking up to the sound and sight of the the sea. Lovely renovated apartment , full of character.

Nothing - we loved it

A lovely apartment situated a (very gentle) stones throw from the harbour in Lynmouth! Open up the patio doors and you're sat next to the busy little harbour and can watch the world go by. A lovely place to base yourself to explore the stunning North Devon countryside.

It's an exceotionally old building which has been beautifully restored, but there's no double glazing so be prepared for the odd draft through the windows. Genuinely not a problem, but just so people are aware and they can't moan then. We're definitely not - the place is lovely!
