The location of the hotel is superb - in a quiet little village, just close and with a nice view on the ruins of the old castle. The room (with balcony, on the first floor) was large and clean, very good beds, with a nice view from the balcony on the surrounding countryside. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast as well. Parking possible just in front of the hotel

We were there on a very hot summer night, and the room has no airco, so it was quite hot. But it was so quiet outside that we could sleep with open window/balcony door :-) !!

The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays - the website doesn't say anything about this! There is no other restaurant in the village. The situation was recovered as the owner was persuaded to provide a cold platter (and a beer!). She also gave me a better room as compensation.

closed during 2 days a week, had to call for us to open, but restaurant closed in the evening, needed to drive into town for dinner. lots of mosquitoes in the room over night

the breakfast was very good. It was especially handy that they were extremely pet-friendly. It made everything easier. The staff was very friendly and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Lovely location and beautiful views from the rear terrace. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the evening and the steak was amazing, best I have had in a long time. Recommend this as a good stopping point.

We were very happy with this accommodation which is located next to the castle ruins in the village of Weissenstein. The room had a balcony with a lovely view of the countryside. Parking was directly in front of the door (there's a larger carpark close by). The breakfast was good. We ate dinner outside on the large terrace which is open all day, the atmosphere here was really nice with visitors also coming from Weissenstein & the nearby town of Regen. There are some nice walks in the area. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful - we had a great time & would definitely return.

It would be great if the wifi could be available in the rooms too.
