We came to Mtn View for a family getaway. We were dlighted to find the cabin as shown in the pics. It was lovely. Clean, comfortable and sweetky decorated. We enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit after a busy day in the area, and our girls enjoyed roasting the narshmallows Ms Sheryl so thoughtfully left for her guests (all the ingredients for s'mores). We loved rocking on the front porch & watching the cows across the way.
Everything you need to cook with & eat with and on is provided. Beds were fully made, towels and washclothes in the bathroom, and they all smelled fresh and clean.
Everything offered in the ad is here. But, if you're like me, you may miss what isn't here-a washer & dryer, nor an iron/ironing board. Easily remedied with the laundromat in town. We just needed a quick tumbke for our church clothes...lol.
We would stay here again and will tell our friends for sure.

The cabin is a restored vintage home with lots of gorgeous wooden accents and all the expected amenities. The fire pit with s'mores makings was a thoughtful touch and we did enjoy it. The owner was friendly and responsive to messages, and we plan on staying here again next year.

my daughters best friend lives in Mtn View so she stayed with her family and my best friend of almost 50 years met me there for some fun at the Folk Festival. The Little House on the Hill was absolutely perfect for our getaway. We loved the location and the place!! I can’t say enough good things about this place and the host. Will definitely stay again! 😃

It was a very charming and quaint little house. It was very clean and well stocked with necessities. It was very quiet but you didn’t feel isolated. I would recommend it for a small family.

We loved staying here! It was cozy without being too small. Loved everything about the cabin, loved the closeness to everywhere we wanted to go. Definitely plan to stay here again. Thank you for having this adorable cabin available for us to stay.

I could not stop talking about how adorable the cabin was. It was perfect for our little family. The only surprise for me was the pictures made me think it had separate bedrooms. The beds are in one room, this was a pleasant surprise for me. I have small children and was nervous about them being in a different room. Clean, comfortable, cute.

This little cabin was perfect for our family of 5 we had everything we needed to grill out and we enjoyed the fire pit. They even provided us with the makings for smores! There were also lots of board games and dvds the location was beautiful and quiet and we had a wondeful experiance

We enjoyed our stay at The Little House on the Hill. The little cabin has soft, wide plank pine floors, comfy beds with a touch of rustic that made it a sweet little place to stay. The owners were great hosts!

Super clean, had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend! Perfect distance from town. Only item I wish they would have had is ESPN or Wi-Fi so we could have watched the Hogs game:)

Three friends, a deer, and an armadillo
After driving past the location a few times, a local neighbor helped us locate the cabin we had reserved. (I suggest a bright, relective, or otherwise noticeable roadside sign with address and name of the cabin.)
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin and the time spent relaxing, talking, and soaking in the tranquil surroundings.
The cabin was clean, stocked with all necessary supplies, and even offered DVDs and table games.
Our favorite part was rocking on the front porch and being spooked by the armadillo which ran across the yard so fast the roadrunner would struggle to keep up.
We briefly met the friendly owners after we ate a large breakfast and tidied up the cabin. The great experience gave us new memories cherish. We highly recommend a stay and hope to return someday.

We only had a short stay but it was wonderful! Everything was so nice and neat and so clean! My kiddos loved playing baggo and being out in the yard! We will definitely be back!

Cozy Cabin Near Downtown Mt View
My Mom, sister and I stayed here on our way back home to IL from vacation in Heber Springs. It's located close to town, yet you're set in the country. Very comfortable and cozy!! It was too hot to utilize the fire pit for s'mores, but hopefully next time! Highly recommend!

We stayed Easter weekend and it was perfect! Plenty of space for the kids to play, we watched movies that were available and I was able to put things up quickly on arrival to make it more crawling baby friendly!

Neuropathy and arthritis
It was a Great weekend and a nice spot. Secluded nice little cabin but the Step Up to the living room and step down to the bedroom need to be fixed. Us old people have arthritis and neuropathy and it's a trip hazard but other than that it was a very nice place!!!!

Weekend Getaway
My family and I were looking for a getaway the weekend after Thanksgiving. We love the Mountain View area, and chose the Cabin on the Hill because it was only 2 miles to town. The drive up the hill to the cabin was beautiful! The cabin itself was clean, nicely decorated, and provided a homey atmosphere. The fire put outside was stocked with wood and Sheryl even had all the necessary parts for us to make s’mores. We would definitely stay here again!

Wondeful Accomodations!
We reserved this location for our minister and his wife when they came to officiate at our wedding. They were thrilled with their lodging, and Sheryl was very responsive with information and to requests.
