1340 Dunlin Ct è una villa a due piani nel famoso quartiere di Fairway Oaks che gode di un ambiente privato con vista sulle acque tranquille della laguna e sulla lussureggiante foresta marittima, e una posizione tranquilla nell'unità terminale che offre privacy lontano dalle proprietà vicine. Attraverso gli alberi si scorgono scorci di fauna selvatica e il campo da golf Cougar Point.
La villa si trova nelle immediate vicinanze della spiaggia, del nuovissimo centro conferenze e della Cougar Point Clubhouse (controlla la nuovissima club house!) Appena passato il primo cancello di sicurezza, è un disco facile dentro e fuori l'isola.
L'interno della villa è stato completamente rinnovato e presenta una pianta del piano inverso per sfruttare appieno le viste dalla spaziosa zona giorno e pranzo al secondo piano, nonché dal ponte posteriore.
Pavimenti in legno e luce naturale intensa proveniente dalle finestre panoramiche scorrono nello spazio, creando un'atmosfera calda e confortevole. Soffitti lisci, illuminazione ad incasso e pareti e armadi appena dipinti offrono un nuovo aspetto vivace e fresco. La cucina ha un passaggio attraverso la zona pranzo, che consente un facile intrattenimento. Una stanza di polvere fuori dalla zona giorno completa lo spazio.

We had a great stay at this property. We loved that it was 2 floors with nobody above or below us. The wooded views from upstairs and the back deck were really nice. We loved the close proximity to several boardwalks and Cougar Point. We also loved riding to Night Heron for kids crafts, activities, and the playground, and grabbing food at The Nest. The only thing I’d suggest to improve the condition of the property would be to have the first floor bedroom carpets cleaned, especially in the main bedroom.

the property at 1340 Sea Elder was the perfect size for our family of 5. Location is a short walking distance to the beach. The home is clean and has all amenities that a family needs to have a relaxing visit on Kiawah. Would definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved where we were. It is a beautiful property with amazing views and pretty close to every thing we wanted. The walk to the beach was super easy and nice too! We will definitely be staying here again!

We’ve stayed at 1340 four times now and already look forward to the next time! The proximity to the beach, Cougar Point and the shops - plus mornings overlooking the mossy lagoon - it’s our favorite. The beds are very comfy and we all have room to spread out, love the “flipped” layout.

We had another wonderful week at 1340 Sea Elder! Quiet mornings on the balcony overlooking the little lagoon is always a highlight! Everything was spotless and the beds - especially the King - are very comfortable! We love being so close to Cougar Point, with an easy walk to the beach and a 15-20 minute bike ride to the shops. We had trouble with one of the big blinds in the living room and maintenance came right away to fix it. We already look forward to our next visit!

We stayed in this unit as a family of 7 and found plenty of space for all of us. The whole unit was very comfortable and clean. The location was just minutes from the beach and located in a very private setting overlooking a small pond. It is located just inside the main gate and close to the main bike paths that can take you anywhere you need to go. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Recently had a wonderful week at 1340 Fairway Oaks. With 5 adults, there was plenty of room and privacy. The kitchen wasn't quite as well stocked as other places we've stayed nearby, but not bad. Bring extra coffee mugs, esp. if you like big ones and the coffeemaker wasn't great (nor clean!) but thankfully we'd brought a Keurig. The rest of the house was very clean and the beds were very comfy! The patio has a wonderful view of trees + lagoon and is very private. Bring binoculars to enjoy the wildlife from the patio. We will be back!

I can recommend with confidence! The property is convenient, close to the beach and Fresh Fields. The owners have it setup well for visitors with a quality kitchen, large screen TV’s and comfortable furniture. ESPM does a great job of managing the property with a well informed arrival process and clean properties.

Only complaint was the HVAC system. Just could not regulate the temperature in the main living area without freezing everyone in the bedrooms.

The Good and the Bad
Pros: It was updated, clean and attractive. Good appliances, esp the washer-dryer and dishwasher. We had a minor problem with the washer but resolved it quickly. Good outdoor equipment for beach. Comfortable sofa.
Negatives:
1. We had known that it was the upside down arrangement and decided quickly that we did not care for that. Just not convenient.
2. We knew that a problem had existed with AC but thought it had been fixed. It definitely had not! You either froze or were hot. If upstairs was comfortable, downstairs was freezing. Nothing in-between, esp in the spare bedroom.
3. Several bugs and spiders were in the bedrooms (another reason not to like the upside-down arrangement.)
4. No pool; we booked quickly thinking that it was the last choice and did not realize that owner did not have an arrangement with any Kiawah properties to use a pool. We are outdoor people and spent the day playing tennis, golf and biking so we really wanted to have a pool to use.
5. In re to above, if you are not on a Kiawah property you lose a lot of the perks.
6. TV with the streaming was not conducive to watching sports and news which we love. Basically you had to watch movies or nothing.

Bright and Beautiful
The perfect spot to ring in 2021. This property has been updated beautifully from head to toe. Clean, modern, beach decor and all the amenities, plus a great (close to the beach) location make it our favorite Kiawah rental (there have been many) so far!

Perfect Location, Newly Renovated!
We loved that this property was newly renovated and up to date.
The location to the beach was the perfect walk, to the beach access. Everyday we just kept our beach stuff in the truck and some would drive the truck to unload and the rest would ride the bike or stroll the baby to the beach!
The A/C could use some work, it was freezing downstairs, but I guess that is better than being too hot :)
I would recommend moving the motion sensored lights from the bedroom to the bathroom, they are really sensitive.
Our family of 7 fit just right in this condo. We felt very at home and relaxed! If I go back to Kiawah I would definitely stay here again!
