The room interior and location is nice.

1. If you come earlier than 15:00 in my case it was 8 o’clock you can’t check in earlier as the electronic keys are sent at 15:00 exactly. So with baggage it was not convenient 2. There is no reception 3. Check out time is 10:00 and check in time is 15:00 which is quite strange and not typical 4. I had problems with payment as the hotel payment system was insecure for my bank

Great room! Large bathroom with heated floor. Comfortable beds. Daily cleaning. Wonderful location. Communication was good. 'Keys' (electronic) arrived as stated, on time. Worked fine.

We managed the three flights of steep/narrow"Dutch" stairs to our room on the third floor. We expected this but others should be aware. Also, there is no 'staff'. It is smartphone controlled entry both to 'hotel' and room.

de locatie is uitstekend voor een bezoek aan de stad, je logeert midden in het centrum. er is geen receptie aanwezig, je opent de deur met je telefoon. het ontbijt is goed verzorgd, wel op afstand van het hotel. je moet ervoor naar buiten naar een iets verderop gelegen restaurantje.

je moet wel rekening houden met vrije steile trappen om bij je kamer te komen.

We loved that this hotel was in the center of Haarlem. It was close enough to the train station to be able to walk, and close to shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean, and having a mini-fridge was a bonus!

Our room was in the top floor, and we knew that when booking, but just wanted to note that the stairs were indeed pretty steep.

The interaction with host is problematic due to non availability. The beds were not up to standard.

We got to Haarlem around noon because they said we would have a place to store our bags, when we arrived at the place to store our luggage they had no idea what we were talking about so we had to walk around with our bags for a few hours which was stressful and heavy.

A bit of stairs to be aware of. Also the automated internet check in procedure ... not for everyone, however i liked it. A bit too soft matrasses for me.

Lovely old feel but very contemporary styling. Comfortable bed, super clean, openable windows. Also great shower. Loved our five-day stay.

Brilliant location in the heart of Haarlem. Our bedroom was one of just six in a traditional building. We were initially uncertain about the electronic key, but it worked well. Bedroom was well-equipped with hairdryer, toiletries and fridge.

Air-conditioning was not very effective. We had no responses to several emails we sent prior to our arrival, although that failure was eventually acknowledged.

there wasn’t a curtin on one of the windows so it was very bright when the sun came up making it difficult to sleep

The location, the high standard of furnishings, and super comfortable beds. The quality and range of television became very important!

Those steep, narrow stairs made moving our luggage extremely hard.

I did not have the breakfast. The location was perfect with access to restaurants, shops and transportation.

Location, bedroom, price - quality value, generous amount of coffee capsules, digital key was comfortable/clear, staff on the phone and overall cleanliness.

- When taking a shower the water basically goes everywhere on the very slippery floor, the water doesnt really go into the drain. Because the floor flat and it is very slippery, can be dangerous. - We were still in the room at 11:15, and one of the staff on the property knocked very loud on the door (while it wasnt even time yet) and I opened the door… and he only said “Klaar??” First of all, I understand Dutch but another person may not and above all this isnt not how you talk to your visitors. And he didnt even say goodmorning or ask us how our stay was, like a normal hotel employee would. - The breakfast place was nice, but one of the staff there thought the restaurant was his own personal comedic performance show. While it was clear nobody was asking for it, especially at 9 AMish in the morning.
