Perfect 4 bed, 3 bath lake getaway w/ amazing views in quiet cove!
Questa proprietà è il luogo perfetto per una grande folla! Dopo aver parcheggiato nel posto auto coperto o sul vialetto con almeno 4 posti auto, si cammina attraverso la porta d'ingresso e si scende in una spaziosa zona giorno a pianta aperta con una cucina con tutte le esigenze di cottura, due zone pranzo e due sedute le zone. I panorami dalla zona giorno sono magnifici! Sempre all'ultimo piano ci sono due camere da letto. La camera da letto principale ha un letto matrimoniale e bagno padronale privato. La seconda camera da letto matrimoniale e un bagno adiacente. Le doppie porte scorrevoli conducono ad un ampio portico con due tavoli da pranzo all'aperto e griglie a gas e carbone per la vostra convenienza.
Al piano inferiore, troverete una zona soggiorno separata per i bambini (con un divano letto matrimoniale). Troverai anche un'ulteriore camera spaziosa con un letto king-size. Our recent stay was nothing short of exceptional. The owners' communication was impeccable. The house is beautifully appointed and meticulously stocked with everything we could possibly need.
Great amenities-from cozy indoor spaces perfect for relaxing evenings to a spacious outdoor area ideal for morning coffees and late-night hangs. Lots of activities and things to enjoy, from cornhole to laying on the water mat by the dock.
The separate bunkroom and lounge area downstairs ensured the children had a place to hang out while the adults enjoyed the upstairs living room.
The location was perfect...nestled away but conveniently close to anything you would need or want to explore.
Overall, we cannot recommend this vacation rental highly enough. It exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The perfect Lake Martin getaway.

Perfect house for large family. Kids loved the bunkbed. Great for three families. Lots of outdoor living space. Boat dock was perfect for our boat rental for the week. Kids fished off the boat dock and had a great time. House was perfect for large family dinners

Perfect location for my daughter’s wedding weekend at Marsgate! My children were in and out due to them staying at Marsgate with the bridal party, and family and friends rented all around the lake. Everyone was blown away by our view, the accommodations, amenities, and our overall location. It was seamless! I couldn’t be more pleased! Thank you for a memorable weekend.

We had a family get-together over Thanksgiving, complete with big Thanksgiving meal. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to bake and cook, and there is plenty of seating for a big group.
Checkin was easy and communication was easy and prompt.
The location is beautiful, with a view of Lake Martin. It's about a 45min drive from Auburn, so an easy day trip to catch a game or visit campus. There is a big deck off the main floor of the house, and then by the water there is a patio area and a dock, with chairs and a wonderful swing-chair contraption. It was the cooler time of year when we were there but we still spent a couple hours out by the lake.
There is a carport that fits two vehicles. There are two bedrooms on the main floor (good for guests who can't do stairs). Then downstairs there's another bedroom, and the bunk room for 6.
The unit was clean and well-equipped. Wifi was good. Unlike many VRBO's, this one actually has cable TV and we watched a lot of football on Thanksgiving Day.
This is one of the nicest VRBO's I've stayed at. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to visit the Lake Martin area.

We had a great time at this lovely home. Great location, plenty of room for our group of 10. Once we arrived I never left, except for in a boat. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Beautiful views, easy access to chimney rock and several marinas. Kids loved it. Only recommendation is bring a paddle. There was a paddle board and a kayak but only one paddle. My grandson found a stick that he used to paddle the kayak! Owners were easy to communicate with and accommodating.

We had a great time with great accommodations. Minutes by boat from Goat Island & the Dam; less than 10min from The Ridge and Kowaliga's; 15min to The Landing at Parkers Creek and Catherine's Market at the XRoads; 20 min to Chuckwalla's and a little more for Dare Park. All highly recommended.
Grandkids had a great time swimming off the end of the dock in 8' of water and right off the land via steps for 2' of water.
The living area was a wide open space for the kitchen, breakfast, dining room, and den/TV room. We had a good time in the evening watching nightfall on the lake playing cards. We all had space while being together.

Really loved this rustic, but beautiful, lake home located on a secluded cove. Perfect for family and friends. The owners were a joy to work with and very accommodating. Looking forward to staying again soon.

Best times were had here. The home is well stocked with everything needed. Our group of 6 adults and 6 children were comfortable. We loved the double living rooms and dining areas. Upper and lower decks are fabulous. We will return.

We came for a wedding weekend at Children’s Harbor and Spring House. This house was very convenient and had all the comforts of home. The house has plenty of space, seating and comfortable beds. Would highly recommend for a family gathering. The hosts were great!

We had the most amazing week with family. Six adults and three kids. The house was so spacious and the kids loved the bunk room. Every detail of the decor was beautiful and so well thought out. We had everything we needed! The location of the house was also perfect! So close to Chimney rock and some of our favorite swimming spots. We’ve been coming to the Lake for years. This house was definitely our favorite! We can’t wait to come back!

Memorial Day Weekend
We had a Golden Girls weekend getaway. Old friends from high school. Place was very clean. Easy for us with joint problems to load and unload our bags.
I’ve stayed there before and loved it. The new owners have done some upgrades and made the place even better. Several people were talking about renting it for their family vacation. Hope to be able to rent it again next year.

2nd Time Even Better
This was our second stay at this house and we were pleased again. This house has everything you need, literally!!! It was very clean for our arrival. Our 15 year olds had a blast even though they didn’t catch a fish the whole time. Will definitely be back for a third time!!!

Amazing location.. Amazing house..Amazing owners
This was the perfect Lake Martin vacation home. The house has a GREAT view of the lake on a quiet cove. The end of the pier is in deep water so we spent most of our days floating and playing there. We did bring a boat and were able to tie up there safely. The house had everything we needed and more. Beds were super comfy. Shana let us check in early and check out late which was so nice. There is a marina close by with amazing bloody mary's! lol. Kowaliga Restaurant is a 10 min boat ride and 6 min car ride away. We had a wonderful lunch there one day. My mom, step-dad, brother, sis-in-law, 2 nieces and husband and I stayed comfortably. My 6 and 9 year old nieces went CRAZY over the bunk room! We hope to come back next summer! Thanks for everything Shana!

Surprise 50th Birthday Weekend
Our group of 6 adults and 6 kids enjoyed everything the house and the lake had to offer! The house looks even better than the pictures. Communication with the owners was excellent! Highly recommend the property!

Best memories all summer and amazing home!
Wow! Just wow!! Where do I start! The home is so clean and the decor is beautiful. The location is super convenient to everything! The view was ahmazing!! Like I can’t even put words to it how nice it was!! Having the boat ramp to be able to just walk down and get on our boat and head out was a joy! The local favorites of chimney rock and goat island and the marinas were literally minutes away by boat! The quiet water cove that the house is located on was perfect for the kids to swim and have momma feel comfortable about no boat traffic. The kitchen is stocked beyond any rental house kitchen I have ever stayed at. The host is very friendly and informative. The kids just absolutely loved the bunk room! We really have nothing negative to say…well except we had to leave;) definitely definitely will be back!!!

Had a great time. We had 6 Adults adults and 6 teens and we all had a blast. The house has everything you need and is well stocked with appliances and cookware. plenty of room for everyone and the kids(13-16yrs old) loved the bunk room/cave and slept like bears in there.The adult rooms and bathrooms were just fine and had everything we needed.We loved sitting out on the deck in the morning with coffee and finishing up the night with drinks and conversations.Kids played volleyball and we all enjoyed some corn hole.The dock was perfect to tie your boat up to and swim from. Plus, the steps going into the water were awesome for us "old" folks.Over all we had a great time. Had a couple of small issues but the owners were great to work with and easy to contact. Had a really good time and didn't want to leave.Just as a heads up, cell service is very spotty in the area. No T-mobile and Verizon was 1-2 bars max. Not sure about ATT. The WiFi was strong and definitely need it to make a few calls but honestly...who wants a phone while on vacation except for music : )Heads up, the driveway is pretty steep. Not an issue normally, but if you think of bringing a boat down that driveway I would caution against it unless you have a good strong tow vehicle. Thanks for letting us stay at your house. We visited this property the summer of 2021. Everything was as advertised on Vrbo. We brought our boat with us and the access to the lake was very easy. We will definitely be back!
