The hosts were very welcoming, and we really liked Kingussie as a quiet place to stop on our trip through the highlands. We would like to have stayed longer. We also appreciated having a breakfast option nearby while the Osprey is remodeling their kitchen.

The hotel is so beautiful inside and out. The decor is stunning and it’s set in the most amazing place. Our room was incredible and everything was so clean and fresh. The bed was so comfy…and huge! Des and Sinead are the most wonderful hosts and such lovely genuine people. They really went above and beyond and made everything so perfect for us.
I highly recommend this gorgeous hotel and would like to say a huge thank you to Des and Sinead from myself and my daughter for being so amazing and making our stay a truly wonderful experience. I miss it already and I can’t wait to go back!

Des and Sinead (the owners) were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was great value for what we wanted.
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property so this is not a negative comment, however it would be good to have either a lower stool/higher mirror at the dressing table so it’s easier to use or even maybe a full length mirror on the wall.

It was incredibly clean and beautifully renovated. The decor was simple yet stunning. Des and Sinead are delightful and so helpful - they really go out of their way to please. Best porridge I’ve ever eaten and the whole stay was super value for money. Genuine treasure found amongst the mountains!

We had a lovely stay at the Osprey Hotel, and would love to visit again in the future. Sinead was a wonderful host, the rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. We'd like to thank Sinead for making all of us, especially our toddler and our dog, feel so welcome.
Nothing could have been better, everything was perfect, thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at the Osprey Hotel. Des and Sinead are excellent host, nothing is too much trouble. They showed us an excellent hiking trail, there is a small nice area to lounge downstairs and the beds are comfortable.

Des and Sinead were phenomenal hosts - they couldn't be more helpful and attentive, and just all round delightful company.
The room was clean and very, very comfortable, we also used the bar area, and breakfast was delicious.
They gave us great recommendations for short strolls as well as dinner, and it was lovely spending time in the hotel after our travels.

Where do I start. This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in the staff were so nice and polite even though we was late, beds were so comfortable the room was so homelike and the breakfast was incredible definitely recommend the scrambled eggs on toast 👌 will definitely be coming to stay again.

Des and Sinead are great hosts- this is the most friendly place to stay in Kingussie. The room was clean and beds comfy, plus close to the train station.

Fantastic wee hotel, right in the centre of Kingussie. Currently being refurbished so only 4 rooms being used at the moment, but our room was brand new. Amazing comfy bed. 100% super clean everywhere. Restaurants nearby for dinner, but we were invited to use the lounge for our own drinks. The owners/ hosts showed us exceptional hospitality - so friendly and welcoming and absolutely nothing was any trouble. You could not find better anywhere in Scotland. Cannot wait to go back.
The water pressure in the shower wasn't great, but in an old building, probably unavoidable.
