This apartment was reasonably close to Santana Row and the many restaurants there as well as the Winchester House. The owner was very prompt in responding to questions and concerns regarding the apartment and provided good advice for things to see and do, eat in the area. Overall, we had a pleasant experience at this reasonably priced (for the area) apartment that we stayed in for a SJSU graduation. It was convenient to I-280. However, the driveway is right on a busy street, so renters with cars must be very careful backing onto Moorpark Ave. The apartment was very clean, yet some things can be improved. When we arrived, there were no towels in the bathroom as the cleaning crew had locked them away. Also, there was no coffee available either free or for purchase and the kitchen faucet did not work on arrival. These things need to be checked before every stay but were promptly taken care of. The beds had cheap sheets and were not very comfortable. However, the a/c worked great and the tv was fine. The area has a lot of longer-term apartment dwellers and parked cars and trucks outside, as well as foot traffic. Not sure of the safety, but the lock on the door was secure. So, overall, we would recommend this property for budget travelers who wish to shop in Santana Row or get easy access to I-280. It was surprisingly quiet despite how close it was to the highway. Plusses outweighed the minor negatives.

We decided to head out to San Jose to see our son who lives there. He has a studio apartment so we decided to look for someplace to stay for all three of us. This property was all that it promised..clean...comfortable...close to attractions, shops, restaurants and the major highways. Our host was an incredible resource. We were provided with an incredible amount of information and resources which made our visit to San Jose so very enjoyable. Our host reached out to check on us several times during the week to see if he could be of any help or offer any information. Our family highly recommends staying here if you are planning on visiting San Jose or surrounding areas. We will be returning!!

Neighbors we loud due to them having a party. I was told no loud noise after 8pm. Why wasn’t I given the same courtesy? I feel I should be refunded some of my money due to my inconvenience of not being able to sleeep due to the loud noise.

We had a great stay at this location. It was clean, easy access to shopping, dining, and freeways👍The host even provided snacks to purchase, which was a warm welcome after a long day of travelling. I would highly recommend!🥰

This apt is a great location to visit San Jose attractions. Great Thai food is literally a 5 minute walk up the street. The rental is clean, comfortable. Easy to find, easy to access. We visited Winchester House, the Egyptian Museum and Santana Row. Would stay again.

This is a great location, close to Santana Row, restaurants (Vietnamese, Indian. Thai, Chinese, Vegan and American). Our host called two or three times to make sure everything was to ur satisfaction. For what you get, the price is very reasonable. You even have a garage with an automatic opener. The condo itself was very clean and well equipped. And, if you like to cook it, Safeway and other supermarkets are nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was a nice, safe getaway in San Jose. Very close to the Winchester Mystery House, Santana Row etc...It was exactly as advertised. The owners were very easy to work with, always available and there to answer any questions. I also felt that they don't treat this as just a business but that they really care about the experience of the people who stay there. I felt truly welcomed. I recommend this place if you are looking for someplace nice, quiet, very safe, and easy to access. Highly recommend this property for a nice, cozy San Jose getaway. Would absolutely stay again in future. My thanks to the owners; it was a real treat to stay there.

Best location where close to one of best shopping area in city. Host is friendly and takes care of of guests as he called to welcome and ask for what guests need during trip! Very helpful when I need advise travelling the city!

The apartment was very comfortable and was a great place to get away and relax for the weekend. The rooms had comfortable blankets, beds, and pillows; the bathroom was clean and the shower was nice and spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked with a stove-oven, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, snacks, etc. The location was also convenient if you like to get out and explore cool things in the area. Definitely would consider staying here again.

I actually never got to stay here. After arriving I realized we needed to pay an additional fee to the owner through cashapp or venmo. Until I did that I would not receive the access code. After several attempts to reach the owner I decided to get a hotel. We didn't feel safe because the outside of the building looked like old apartments and the neighborhood felt unsafe. We were 2 ladies alone with my teen daughter. The owner did reply a hour later but I was already in a hotel. I honestly felt unsafe to keep waiting for a reply I wasn't sure I'd receive. Now I'm out the money for the vrbo rental and hotel fees. I'm not happy about this.

Third, the host told me I needed to check in later than advertised because of problems on his end without any apology or offer of compensation. Only after I pushed back did he agree to let us check in 15 minute behind schedule. Never received an apology. Fourth, he told me there was a fee for the snacks halfway into my trip then asked me to pay after my trip. If there's a fee, these need to be stated ahead of time or listed near the snacks themselves. Felt like a bait and switch; consumables on-site have been free in my past experiences.
