Beautiful home! It is exceptionally well constructed and very well decorated. The location is the BEST! You will love the front porch! The pictures online are good, but the home is much better than the pictures can show. I highly recommend staying at the "Old School House"!

We loved our stay at the old school house in Murphys. The house was beautiful and completely updated. The kitchen was well stocked and the porch and covered patio made great dining options. We were able to walk everywhere. Would highly recommend!!

This property is beautiful and perfect location. Our daughter got married at ironstone and we had a wonderful time. The only problem was the air conditioner went off about five times.

We loved everything about the property. It was so convenient to downtown walking, the furnishings and kitchen were beautiful. We loved the front porch. All in all, it was a wonderful property. I am asking friends when they want to go back.

It was a perfect spring weekend for our daughter’s wedding at Vida Buena Farm in Vallecito. The house is spacious and well laid out including the rocking chairs and table/chairs on the porch. The upstairs bedroom with 2 beds is large and easily accommodated the bride’s garments and pre-wedding photo session. The location right off Main Street was a quick walk to the rehearsal reception at Hovey and the after party at Murphy’s Hotel.

My girlfriends and I had a much needed getaway in this beautiful home right next to the Main Street in Murphys. The house was so cozy, accommodating for our needs and lovely. As a group of teachers, the fact that this was an old school house made it even more memorable. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful spot! Perfect location for an easy walk to wine tasting, shops, and restaurants. Even though it rained the majority of our stay, there was plenty of space to relax and hang out in the house. We will be back!

We've been to Murphys many times and my group says this was the best house yet. We loved how close it was to main street (2 minutes walking?), the neighborhood, how well equipped the house was and how comfortable.

The location of the house is perfect to walk everywhere downtown. Plenty of parking too. Rooms are generous size and home is comfortable to enjoy with family or friends.

The location and layout of this house was amazing. We were just steps from Main Street. It was so fun to get up and walk to coffee places in the mornings and go out shopping in the evenings. Everything worked amazingly well. The only problems we had was with the fan in the bathroom. It wouldn't turn off and it was quite loud, especially at night. Other than that, it was a super great stay!

Overall a wonderful place. Odd feeling with all the cameras so close watching closely as you go to have a glass of wine on the porch. Other than this, Everything was nice except the floors in the house seemed to might have been missed getting cleaned. With the higher cleaning fee combined with the high service fee, I would think for floor to be cleaned and everything tidy.

Nuala was very caring and sympathetic when I called to cancel 24 hours before arriving due to illness. We are familiar with The Schoolhouse and know that it has a great location and great reviews! We plan to reschedule soon! Fortunately we had traveler’s insurance and received full refund quickly. I had to check all boxes for review in order to submit. I am sure that this property deserves an Excellent rating!

The Schoolhouse property was perfect for our wedding weekend. My mother of the bride sister did all of the flowers herself. The huge patio table served as the perfect work space to create the beautiful arrangements for the venue and the arbor. The house itself was spacious to accommodate the six of us so that we weren't on top of each other when we were getting ready for my niece's big day. The location in Murphy's was perfect! I would recommend this property to friends.

We were a group of 7 women going on our annual getaway to Murphys. This was our first time staying at the Schoolhouse and it was fabulous! The location to Main Street was perfect. We were just steps away from all the action, nestled behind a tap room and wine tasting room. As we walked around Main Street shopping and wine tasting during the day, many of us were able to individually run back to the house to use the restroom, grab some snacks, or take a break, then easily walk back to Main Street and find the group. We especially loved hanging out on the front porch drinking coffee and waving hello at passersby.
