My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this property during our babymoon! The ONLY issue we had was the spotty WiFi. Otherwise we would 100% recommend and even stay again. The beach chairs/towels were a huge plus as well as the hot tub. We spent a lot of time on the property since it rained most of our stay and we were never bored.

The setting with surrounding gardens is outstanding and the layout was perfect. Would love to stay again!

Wonderful home, full of everything you could need and want. Felt very spacious yet comforting and with the hot tub and wonderful garden it was hard to leave.

It was very obvious that the pics in your advertisement were quite aged! Only about half the furnishings and wall hangings that we saw in the ad. Furniture is old and "beat up", faded etc.. Kitchen didn't even have a toaster. Your description of a " fully furnished kitchen" was way off! Mildew and rust on both tubs & showers. Dirty, rusty ring on floor around the toilet And I haven't even mentioned the roaches! Quite frankly, we should be getting our money back!! We didn't have time or money to find somewhere else to stay! Maintenance inside and out is quite lacking!!

Overall we had a great time staying at the Orchid House for the first half of our honeymoon. The house was clean, well-stocked with amenities, beautifully decorated, and spacious. We enjoyed eating breakfast in the backyard and cooking dinner one evening while staying in. The house stayed relatively cool despite the lack of A/C, though there were a few days where it got stuffy in the mid-afternoon. The location was also very convenient - tucked away back in a cute, quiet neighborhood, but still super close to Hanalei, as well as a couple really awesome beaches and parks. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken during our stay, and we were not alerted beforehand that it wouldn't be working. The tub was a big reason why we booked this spot, so we were pretty disappointed to find it out of order. Additionally, because the house has no A/C, all the windows have to be kept open at all times, with a couple of loose screens... which led to a number of critters coming in to the house at night. Be prepared to share the house with geckos and flying cockroaches in the evening (fortunately the geckos are there to catch the bugs and mainly stick to the walls and ceilings). Overall would recommend this stay, especially if you're okay with sharing with the wildlife. :)

Great house. Has everything you need to enjoy the island. Great location on the North side. Minutes away from Hanalei. Definitely would recommend this house.

It's so clear the owners have loved and taken care of this home. Love the wide open living and dining area, the office space was perfect for a bit of working-remotely. The house feels so private and sheltered behind the trees and bushes, and all the birds we're delightful. The kitchen had everything we needed and amenities all worked as specified. Would have loved some outdoor lighting out back and the house overall is dimly lit, but had a lovely time in the sweet little garden regardless.
