The condo was great and the views exceeded our expectations. It's right on the water with mountain views, a 4 minute walk to the Boathouse on the Pier restaurant, and just a few minutes drive to the Heavenly gondola & Incline Village. We received daily updates from the property management team, and Dan Breckenridge, the on site maintenance/caretaker greeted us on arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils, pots/pans, spices, etc for our party of 8. There was also plenty of seating around the living room fireplace and dining table for all of us. Unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the hot tub as it had a leak that wasn't repaired during our stay. The shower water pressure was weak, but looked like it could be fixed with a lime treatment, or new showerheads. Viking appliances are nice, but the fridge is not very deep, so a weekend's worth of groceries for 8 was about all it could hold. Definitely pick up more ice for your stay. Between bloody Mary's, bourbon on the rocks, and margaritas, we gave the ice maker a workout. I've passed the Sierra Shores listing onto several family & friends, and would absolutely stay again. We appreciate you opening your vacation home to us, and as an artist, I loved your beautiful glasswork, and paintings. Thank you!

This is our second yearly stay in the same unit. The location is perfect. Right on the lake. Even though the property is right off the main street in and out of town the property is quiet and has a secluded feel. The unit itself has a large perfectly equipped kitchen and large open living and dining spaces. Plenty of room for family to relax without feeling cramped. We'll be back I'm sure.

There were things that needed to be updated/repaired. The fridge was not working, so there was a replacement set up in the living room, which they emailed us about the day of. One of the showers would not drain properly. The steam feature in the main shower was not working. The pool was not available for use, the hot tub was however. Overall, I liked the place and would stay here again and recommend it. The upkeep needs to step it up a smidge. But I would still recommend this place to someone. We had a really great trip.

Views were amazing both day and night from the balcony. Grocery store and restaurants were within walking distance. Easy access to the lake. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and bedrooms and living area were spacious. Would definitely rent this unit again!

We had 4 groups of us. Everyone had their own bed and bathroom which was a huge plus. Everything in description was accurate. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to stay here but not sure if I would stay here again

Amazing lake front cabin style home right on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Beautiful views and supplied with everything we needed. Only 7 minutes to Heavenly ski slopes and the grocery store was right across the street. Would definitely stay here again!

This property is perfectly located near Heavenly village and right across the street from Safeway supermarket. The property itself is gorgeous and clean. The view of the lake is like a fantasy. Our experience was simply magical and we’d go back in a heartbeat.

Down sides - limited parking on site (space avail too tight to get our rental car in garage stall). Parking at Safeway worked out quite adequately though. (Community) Hot tub was out of commission & (community) pool not yet open for the season. The latter understandable, the former perhaps should have been noted as a concern during our rental time period. A few furnishings had clearly been 'used hard' prior to our visit - living room recliner was wonky, makeup counter bench crossbar off on one side, shower diverter lever handle was off in one bath. While still usable, would have appreciated a 'condition punchlist' on arrival that noted whatever dings and dents to furnishings and the unit were present prior to our arrival.

Also would have been helpful to have clearly know there was a limit of 8 in the unit at ANY/all times. While we were fine with the limit of 8 overnight, we had hoped to be able to spend time relaxing with our son & DIL who were transferred to CA and my wife's SIL. Didn't want to be hosting a big party, but would have liked to have the option to have to have our our family from CA come hangout wit us while we were all there for our niece's wedding.

(Some on site conflicting info on this front as well. The onsite giude book states a limit of 10, eslewhere in the unit it states Tahoe authorizes up to 12.)

The rental company was pretty easy to work with and it looks like they are making ongoing efforts to maintain and keep up the units.

All in all, if the need to be in Tahoe came up again, I think we'd look into renting this place again if it was availible.

The house is very very nice, roomy, clean, has a beautiful waterfront view with accessible beach, easily accessed from a Main Street, across the street from Safeway, and is 1.5 miles (safe walking route) to the gondola, ski rental places, entertainment, and shopping. I totally recommend.

We traveled from NC to Lake Tahoe for an early summer vacation. The house was beautiful and clean. We did have a glitch with the passcodes on check in, but, they were quickly resolved. The heat/ac is slightly complicated, but, we figured it out. Overall, other than some weather issues, we had a really nice visit.

It is about two miles from stateline which was fine for my family but something to consider if you'd prefer to walk right out the door to the best restaurants and entertainment.

There is a great gated access to the lake front and you have about a mile of lakefront to walk.

Great house on the lake! Owner was awesome, thanks for a great few days!

Our annual family vacation is something we look forward to all year and treasure the memories. Lake Tahoe is a family favorite. The Sierra Shores property was great for the whole family. The private deck overlooking the lake and great sunsets were spectacular. There were 10 of us and it housed us adequately. The large table facilitated family meals during the day and card games at night. We had elderly grandparents along and the elevator came in so handy. Everyone found the bedrooms comfortable. Safeway across the street was great for last minute grocery items. The gas barbeque on the deck with table was nice. We had a family member who was on a liquid protein diet and the kitchen was missing a blender. We searched all the local stores and could not find one. Staff delivered a new one the next day, very great service. We walked next door to the public beach and also rented a boat at the marina. The pool was closed due to Covid and that was a disappointment but cannot blame the property owner for that. Parking is tight but the walk across the street to the Safeway parking lot was short and our concerns of vehicles being broken into was unwarranted. We requested extra towels and received them. It was a great and memorable family vacation for the whole family. I recommend the property.
