Loved the property. The house was exactly as described and beach access was close and easy to get to. There were multiple close restaurants and stores. The only complaint was the mosquitos were relentless and giant. There were some sprays and a citronella candle but i don't think there was anything that could be done about thise pesky critters. Otherwise a perfect vacation.

Nice,clean, best I have rented in Surfside! Everything you need for a family .Great location. Dead end road no traffic ! Easy to get in and out.Will use this rental again in the future .

The house was perfect for our group of two families. Everything was clean, and we appreciated the extras that were provided. The kitchen was well-stocked. There were lots of beach toys available too. Access to the beach was easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here and would definitely book again!

Such a great find! Christina was available for all of my questions at any time. Super clean as well! My boys had such a good time and the 30 sec walk to the beach was amazing. Not over crowded and lots of things to do. Some of the locals even had a party and the live music was awesome. I really enjoyed sitting out on the wrap around porch every night and morning.
We had a little hiccup with our car 30 mins past check out and one of the neighbor came to give us a jump. Thank you so much Christina, such a great little community and we will definitely be back! :)

My family and I stayed a few nights here and it was delightful! The house is in amazing shape beds are super comfy and location is amazing just a minute or two walk and you’re in the sand and in the water!

Property was clean, very well kept and had plenty of room for our family of 14. Owner was very easy to communicate with and responded promptly. The house was equipped with more that what you need and is very close to beach. We rented the golf cart for our entire stay and really enjoyed having it. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the beach in that area. I have always heard yucky things about Texas beaches but we loved it.

Excellent family vacation
This house is immaculately kept, and the owner has gone above & beyond to anticipate guests’ needs. Every detail - from charming beach decor, to a great variety of beach play gear, to a well-appointed kitchen, and even bathroom samples like you’d find at a hotel! - is thoughtfully considered.
This was our family’s 2nd stay, and we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Perfect Beach Vacay
Blue Pelican was the perfect house for our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids). The house was fresh, cool and clean upon our arrival. The complementary toiletries and cold bottled water were a nice touch. Our kids loved their “kid cave”. We added on the optional golf cart and found it very useful for hauling our gear to the beach. The beach and water were beautiful and we enjoyed three full days of sand and saltwater! Communications with Christina were quick and always helpful. We highly recommend Blue Pelican!

Great Place
The house was great. Located a few steps from the beach, but renting the golf cart was by far the best idea. You can load all of your stuff on the golf cart and park it in the garage when you get back so it's ready for the next day. The house has everything you need. The beds were comfy and TV had all the movies and streaming services needed to relax in the evening. We will be back for sure.

The house was perfect.. very clean, and decorated perfectly for Beach Vibes.. very close to the water, short walk and toes are in the sand. Owners are super nice. We will definitely stay here again..

A nice property with great beach access and beach views
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen was well stocked and the overall vibe was beachy and comfortable. The managers were easy and quick to respond with questions and when we did not bring our dog, we were refunded the pet deposit promptly.

Ultimate getaway
Property was clean, had everything that you could need. I was not expecting for all it offered so I honestly pack way to much. Owners commutation was awesome! The house had plenty of room for my big family and less than a minute walk to the beach. The only downfall was the steps to the ramp going to the beach but I do not blame the owners as it was a community ramp. Other than that you can definitely tell the owners put a lot of love into this home. Definitely would recommend!

We had a comfortable getaway - our stay made it comfortable. The beach house was walking distance from the beach - convenience! Apart from this - the place was clean, spacious, accommodating with home items (for kitchen, bedding, laundry, toys, pet friendly). Thank you So much my family enjoyed their stay very much!

This was a wonderful place to stay the view was amazing ! The house was spacious and nice the owners were so helpful . Had everything we needed and more . Love the decor of the home . The outside shower was so nice to have and plenty of parking . And it is so close to the beach . The only downfall is the stairs must have washed away on the walk way to the beach witch is nothing to do with the owners of the home . But I would definitely love to rent this home again.

Beautiful House with Great Location
The house is immaculate. Beautiful inside and out. It is in a great location with beach access just steps away from the house. There is a wonderful view of the beach from the balcony. The check-in and out process was super easy. The communication with the owners was top notch, as well. We all had the best time. We will definitely spend another weekend here in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

April Family Staycation
This property was amazing. The home was nice and cozy ...it felt like home away from home. The wrap around porch was mind blowing. The views of the beach from just about every window and room in the home was a pleasant surprise. We actually over being. The property was equipped with everything we needed. There were first aid kits, sanitizer, lysol, paper towels, and plastic eating utensils. We were in awe in knowing that our next visit will be less packing of these mentioned items. Only suggestion I would make is.to have the cleaning crew to dust a bit more often. However, this wasn't a major impact to the home. The home is in great condition and very well kept.

Beautiful Stay!
My family stayed at the Blue Pelican for 3 nights!!! The house was extremely clean and gave a really cozy feeling upon entering! It was stocked with just about everything you needed! We loved the fact we could spend the day at the beach and walk right to the house to snack and use the restroom. If your looking for the perfect house in Surfside, I absolutely recommend this house! You will not be disappointed!

Lovely beach house!
This beach house was perfect. It was roomy and clean. The owners definitely have pride of ownership. We are hoping to go back with our kids and more family in the near future. I absolutely would recommend a stay at the Blue Pelican!

Excellent communication with owners... well equipped home with perfect beach location... choosing the right vacation home can be daunting and a little hit or miss.... this was a winner! This will be our go to home for a Texas beach vacation.
