Location is fantastic if you're in the area for sports at the DE Turf complex. Quaint accommodations with everything we needed. Only feedback I found worth noting was the mattresses could use an upgrade. Otherwise everything else was great.

This was the perfect place to stay while attending a lacrosse tournament at DE Turf! The home was clean and the hosts went above and beyond to provide all the amenities their guests might need. The mattresses could use an update but overall we had a great stay.

Our VRBO was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly want! We are used to sleeping in a king size bed with 2 small dogs, so we each took a queen bedroom with one put each. Walmart was less than 10 miles away, so that was convenient to get to.
The owner usually allows only one dog, but since our dogs are small, she allowed them both to stay. We were there for our grandson’s graduation, and we had a great time. Margie, Asheville, NC

We loved staying at this house. We were in the area for a wedding and enjoyed our stay. Don’t let the pictures deter you from this house. It may be a little outdated but it had everything we needed and it was super clean. The owners were easily reached and very helpful when vrbo sent us nothing on how to enter the home. I would highly recommend this home to everyone We would stay here again if we were in the area.

This was the perfect location and the perfect home for me and my husband to stay over the weekend. Anita’s home was immaculate. Once we entered we saw snacks in the table for us and drinks in the refrigerator. It was so nice. Anita left us all the information we needed for our stay along with information about Delaware. We were minutes away from some of our favorite restaurants. Unfortunately we did have rain this weekend but there is an outside porch and chairs in the yard to sit and relax. We look forward to returning for another stay when we are in the area. Thank you so much.

This home was perfect for our family. It was spotless and stocked full of amenities. Very comfortable stay and easy trip to visit patient in Milford hospital. My dog loved the backyard and ability to come with us on trip. Would highly recommended this property.

We came to Delaware to celebrate my niece's graduation from Cesar Rodney High School (Go, Riders!) and rented the home for an extended weekend. This house is located in Federica, about 20 mins away from Camden.
The house was clean and tidy, and we appreciated the K-cups for coffee, laundry detergent, snacks, and condiments already stocked in the house for our use. Just like being at home.
Anita was very attentive making sure we had everything for our stay. We need to come back in two years for the next nieces' graduation, and I would absolutely rent this house again!

The house is exactly as described and pictured. The owners, who manage the property, are what every property manager should aspire to be. This was by far the best set up and organized rental I've seen. Everything was well very well documented, including little signs and notes to make everything easy.
If you are looking at this house, you're probably playing at DE Turf. It's incredibly convenient for that.

We came to saty for a soccer tournament at DE Turf. The house/property was well maintained and clean, check in/out was easy and my daughter loved the basement with the foosball and ping pong table! We had a nice stay and if we ever come back for another tournament we'll try to book this place again.

This was both the first time we rented this home and the first time we rented with VRBO and it was a wonderful experience from reservation to stay to check out. Anita is very kind and responsive and I appreciate her willingness to work with us on our stay. The property is very clean and well equipped and backs to a small wooded area and farm land. It is a beautiful scene to wake up to and our dogs loved exploring the large back yard. We loved the quiet and all of the stars we could see at night. The beds are comfortable and my son, our dogs, and I all slept extremely well. Anita very kindly left some special treats for us which was appreciated. It was very accessible to a number of Delaware attractions.

This was our second visit to this comfortable one level house, with some humorous and attractive fall / Halloween exterior decorations to greet us. As noted in our May 2022 review, the circular driveway around the back of the house made it easier to unload and load and exit the property. The beds were comfortable, and it was quiet at night. In our trips, Anita’s welcome packet was the most varied we have encountered and much appreciated. This time we used the washer and dryer, and they both worked well. Anita’s rental is still our first choice for staying in the Dover area. The driving time is about 20 minutes to The Green historic area in Dover and 30 minutes to Bombay Hook NWR.

Nice family getaway
We had a nice stay at this place. We were just looking to get away for a few days and this house was a nice place to stay. I appreciated that let’s were allowed. Internet worked great. It had all the amenities we needed to cook meals which was great. I loved that the owner provided k-cups for the kurig. We brought coffee so the k-cups came in handy!! The house is right on a main road but we didn’t hear the traffic through the night so that was good. The Italian restaurant down the street was amazing. The airplane museum was awesome.

Great for our lacrosse adventures
Quaint home and great for my two boys. Plenty of room in the backyard for them to practice lacrosse and fun activities with the darts and ping pong table. Beautiful sunset views and very pleasant hosts!

Immaculate and convenient
We have stayed at this lovely house several times. Anita is super responsive to emails and really helpful, and this cute cottage is really clean and convenient. Bedrooms are set up well for single parents traveling with one kid each, and the house has everything we need. Many thanks for making this available to families!!

Great place to stay!
It’s spacious, nicely decorated, had whatever we needed, with a curving driveway which made it easier to unload and load. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. We appreciated the welcome packet and feasted on two packs of good milk chocolates. The dining room was especially well lit, a good place to read at night. It was and is our first choice for staying in the Dover area

Comfortable Home

Home sweet home
Staying here felt like home. It’s a super clean 60’s style house with lots of homey touches: extra blankets, comfortable beds, coffee, creamer, chocolate and snacks. The kitchen is well stocked – better than most we have rented. We cooked dinner for 6 without an issue, and we were able to eat together in the dining room using 2 kitchen chairs. Outside there is a picnic table as well as 4 Adirondack chairs. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with very few cars. It’s a great place to relax and unwind. We enjoyed our time here.

Anita is a great host
Anita is a fantastic host and the house setup is perfect for our needs while playing @ the DE turf. My son left airpods in his room and Anita was quick to send ship them back to my house. If you are playing at DE Turf, this is the place to stay.

So close to the fields. Was able to make it back and rest in AC for 20-30 minutes when we had just a hour break.

A quick geteaway
This the house was extremely clean and well taken care of. The owners are very kind and helpful. They even came and salted the walkway for us, which we were very grateful for since wed have no way to do it ourselves. Def will go back when we are in the area again!!
