Do I really need to say more? The views are stunning. The house is amazing and the area surreal. Loved the proximity to all the gorgeous sites in all directions. Coffee on the porch in the morning was amazing! Truly a tropical paradise with birds constantly singing, rain touching the sky daily and you in the middle to see it all. Thanks for the vacation of a life time.

While already familiar with the area, we were astonished at the absolute beauty of this property. At least as good as advertised. We stayed 14 days and if boredome ever began, a few minutes being mesmorized by the view fixed that. Dont miss Pele's kitchen for breakfast. We will plan to return. Suggest a roll down shade or 2 for the deck and some pull down shades (like bedrooms) for the living area.

Absolutely loved this property - magical location, wonderful lanai, cannot be closer to the sea. Loved the sunrises and friendliness of the team — followed grocery recommendation for KTA and became a regular. Thank you!! I hope to return someday soon.

This is probably the cleanest rental housing I ever stayed in my lifetime of journey. Scenery here and in this area is the best in a whole islands.

To fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to the sun exploding from the ocean was amazing! We spent so much time sitting outside watching the waves and the sea turtles playing in them. The home was so clean and had extra special touches to make it all the more comfortable. Kitchen had everything needed to cook meals in. The pride the owners take in this home shows! We spent the remainder of our time on the Kona side wishing we had stayed in this home longer. 10 out of 10 recommend!

This property had so much personality and the views were stunning. We spent hours on the back deck relaxing and enjoying the view. The house is set up nicely and It was really well stocked so we didn’t have to spend extra money on some kitchen essentials. The heat in Hawaii definitely takes getting used to but there were plenty of fans provided to help alleviate that. The host was very responsive when I had questions. My only criticism would be the pillows were terrible and the beds could benefit from memory foam toppers to make more comfortable. I would highly recommend this rental if you love watching the ocean…we even saw dolphins 2 mornings in a row. If we return to Hilo this will be the house I would want every time.

Everything was as listed, the house was even better then we expected and it far exceeded our expectations.

We stayed 3 nights in May. Pros: The house was lovely, very cool to have the living space and the bedrooms on separate floors, the porches were great for coffee and happy hours. Well appointed kitchen. the guide books in the house were super! Awesome views from the house and the cliffs below. Cons: Trade off for the privacy is that the neighborhood the house is in is a 30 min from Hilo and most restaurants, sights, etc. So it took a while to get anywhere, definitely not walkable! And beware of the Coqui frogs! SO loud all night long making it hard to sleep. Bring ear plugs.

This home and view were breath taking and beautiful. The house is about 25 minutes from Hilo in a more rural part of Hawaii. The area is quite beautiful and not too far to still explore and find amazing adventures. We will absolutely stay here again.

With a slightly elevated lot above the ocean, it gives you a superior view. There are turtles playing in the surf and whales passing by in the winter. If you love the ocean, watching amazing sunrises and moon rises over the ocean, then this is the place for you.

We've stayed in HPP several times and this is a great location right on the cliffs. We had beautiful sunrises during our stay. We utilize the full kitchen for most breakfasts and a few dinners. The W/D is great so we didn't have a suitcase full of dirty laundry to take home. The extra bathroom was great when we were all getting ready. We felt close enough to Hilo town and HVNP but far enough away to feel private and quiet. If we had questions, we always got a quick response by the property manager. Overall we had a great experience here.

This place is a heaven and we cant get over it! Located by the gorgeous shoreline with enchanting sunrise views the home comes with all amenities you can possibly imagine. Kicthen is fully stocked (not even one thing is missing). Nice, bright lit 2 bedrooms downstairs + 3 bathrooms.Also has a mini library, board games, bluetooth sound system. We will definitely come back. My only gentle suggestion would be to update the upholstery.It contains damp smelll which goes away once you open the windows.

My husband, our daughters (13 and 15) and I spent five nights in this beautiful house in July 2022. The architecture is simply unbeatable beautiful: the round building, the covered outdoor staircase to the upper floor, the covered porch on the second floor ... The entire interior is very high quality, tasteful, beautiful and lovingly put together. You really find everything you need. The kitchen is also wonderful with the large gas stove and the generous equipment, dishes and glasses so nice that the food tastes twice as good. The beds are comfortable, the view gorgeous, the fans under the ceiling quiet, you can hear the sea rushing. The bathrooms are also individually designed and very pretty. Everything was absolutely clean and very well maintained. And the direct location on the sea was breathtaking. We really fell in love with this house. The nature on this side of the island and also on the property is lush and green and beautiful. Of course, part of that is that it rains frequently, but that didn't bother us at all. The rain was always warm and pleasant. We really enjoyed staying away from the resorts on the west side of the island. For this, we gladly accepted the longer drives across the island, for example, if we wanted to go to Kealakekua Bay or Hapuna Beach.

This is a lovely home—beautiful inside and outside. The kitchen and bathrooms are completely modernized and functional. The beds were very comfortable. The grounds are meticulously kept. The outside, with steps to a lava rock ledge, beautiful plants, and the ocean, is absolutely breathtaking. The open windows and fans helped keep the home cool. Shawna from Salt Water Vacations was responsive throughout our stay. This home was a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of every day life. About 30 minutes to Hilo and 45 minutes to Volcano National Park.
