The cottage was beautifully clean, bright, cosy and wonderful for my husband, baby girl and I. The location was peaceful and the clip clop of miniature ponies was a welcome morning wake up! It exceeded all expectations and we look forward to staying again!

Properly good! Everything about the place is of a very high standard. The location is very good - quiet countryside with almost no light pollution. This makes for wonderful nights sitting outside with a glass of wine. Every detail of the property has been carefully considered and perfectly executed. The property is maintained to a very high standard and is spotlessly clean. We will say here again for sure.

Nothing to not like

We stayed in 2 adjacent cottages as a family of 6 and we were all impressed by both the cottages and the super friendly owners. Clearly a lot of thought went into designing and furnishing the cottages to make them as comfortable as possible for the guests. And of course, you can't beat the farm location! Highly recommend!

The Byre was an outstanding place to stay - very comfortable and homely, but also with modern conveniences such as underfloor heating. The area is very attractive and the owners couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. Our visit was a real experience - our main aim was to visit family in the area over Christmas, but the Byre and our hosts really made the trip extra-special.

As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by the host. The cottage was outstanding, had all modern facilities. We felt at home from the very start. Lovely welcome gift awaited us. Attention to detail was obviously a hit. We even was invited to a tour around their farm. Thank you for what was a lovely stay and we shall be booking again in the future.

The cottage was absolutely fantastic, beautifully decorated and furnished. Everything we could have needed was provided. The setting was beautiful and perfect to travel around. My mother and I stayed for a long weekend. We visited family in Lewes, had a day trip to Brighton and spa afternoon in Guildford. All locations were within reasonable drive times. We wished we had more time to stay and just enjoy the cottage. Hosts Deepak and Sarah were very welcoming and friendly, always on hand to help if required. It was lovely to see the animals on the farm; dogs, cats, chickens and horses. I will definitely be back with the family!

Great location, and local facilities nearby, Ideal for trips out and for restaurants/pubs etc. Very friendly hosts and given warm reception on arrival. Absolutely stunning cottages, great location, Sarah and Deepak are fantastic hosts and brilliant with the kids. So many little lovely touches in the cottage that I’ve never had in any holiday accommodation I have stayed in before. We will be returning next year. We didn’t want to leave.

The property was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and very well equipped with kitchen equipment, TV/streaming services and board games. The hosts, Sarah and Deepak, were very welcoming and provided excellent recommendations in the local area. The location is perfect; nice and quiet but also well connected.
