Lovely old historic building - nicely decorated, well provisioned and comfortable bed. Modern bathroom with a great shower. Off street parking and nice ambiance in general, outdoor seating was real nice. Lovely staff who made the stay easy and friendly

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at The Courthouse. The accomodation was beautifully appointed and the location excellent. Our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom a delight. The breakfast provisions were most welcome. We will definitely be returning!

Bed was comfortable. When issues occurred we were helped. It was a tidy acommodation.
It was very cold, and one old heatpump couldn't heat up the accommodation.

The Court house accommodation in Gawler is adjacent to 'Light Square' within walking distance to ALL facilities. 2 supermarkets within a stones throw, the train station, hotels, restaurants and a variety of shops on the main street of Gawler. A basic breakfast was provided along with nice chocolate treats. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom facilities tastefully renovated with one of those 'rain' shower heads. Good kitchen facilities, but no oven. A microwave, stovetop and basic cookware, tea and coffee making facilities.
The sitting space seems like an after thought. If you want watch TV, you do that from the bedroom. No oven. Not an issue for most travellers, but I do like to prepare and cook my own basic meals. I would suggest a large size air fryer, or replace the microwave with a convection unit. Just a suggestion.

The bathroom sink were abit of a disadvantage. The toilet had to be jiggled abit as the water kept on regenerating after flushing.

Breakfast was amazing, there was a selection of fresh sourdough bread with jam and butter, yoghurt, muesli, fresh fruit and juice.
We liked everything about the property, a unique place to stay.

The Gawler old court house was a real step back in time stay. The accommodation was comfortable and modern inside. Breakfast was provided which was lovely. An easy 40min drive into Adelaide Airport.

We loved the fact that there was little touches left every where. Like a makeup removing station and breakfast for us in the perfect little kitchen.
There was nothing we didn’t like about this place. It was perfect for a wedding night.

The location was fine. The cleanness of accommodation was fine.
However, the whole accommodation was tired and looked as if it had seen better days. Lots of paint missing from scraps and dings across the accommodation. A large graffiti tag was evident in the hallway.
The breakfast was well below par. In Gawler their is a bakery that has been open since the 1850's and bakes bread fresh daily,' yet the breakfast bread was a major supermarket purchase as was everything else that had been gathered together for a very light breakfast.

Breakfast supplies provided in fridge & cupboard, including fresh bread & fruit; "proper" coffee & tea in pots, yoghurt, jams etc. Clean & well presented, with innovative use of space and a spacious bathroom in a small area. High ceilings make it difficult to warm, but the aircon managed.
No complaints really, although there was not really a sitting room or a desk- that did not impact us because we were only there for a night - it was certainly a comfy bed to stretch out and watch TV or read.

Great location and very clean . All amenities you would need .
No lounge area, which we actually loved . no reason to lounge around and go to see a lot more around Gawler
