Beautiful house, garden and location - such a pity that we could only stay for the one night and with so much more to talk about! The room was decorated in an older French and very attractive style, the highlight of our stay in France.
Exceptional hosts who assisted with booking an evening meal, directions etc.
There was an immediate affinity - we had for many years been cat-servants, the last of our own four leaving us at the end of 2023.
Breakfast was excellent and varied - our best French breakfast during two weeks and seven locations.
We'd love to return!
Nothing.

Marie was so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for her.Such a comfortable bed as well
There was nothing really to dislike though at our age climbing into the bath was hard to have a shower

The location, the cats, the dog, the chickens, the breakfast, the bathtub in the room, the owner. Marie was happy to provide a gluten free breakfast which made my life easier being able to taste her lovely confitures. My boyfriend felt fortunate to enjoy a croissant, a pain au chocolate, and a baguette every morning. We had such a pleasing stay that we are thinking of coming back.
Nothing.

Lovely comfortable hotel with a super bed (we slept like babies for 2 nights), very friendly and nice host, great breakfast and superb location. Absolutely worth of money and if you are lucky to book a room here - you will enjoy! Thank you for this experience, Marie!

Everything! - location feels truly like a home, complete with little details, fantastic breakfast and a friendly dog to play with in the big garden!

Beautiful quiet location. Marie couldn't have been more helpful, nor could Poppy the dog! Food was lovely, all fresh, organic and local. No hesitation at making this our base when we visit this wonderful location.
All was good, nothing to dislike!

We had a warm welcome with a cool apple juice provided at the end of a very hot day travelling. The dining room for guests was in the old wine cellar beneath the house, which was lovely, and was accessed from the outside. We appreciated that they provide a fridge, were guests have a shelf each to store things. This was particularly useful to us as we used this as a stop off on the way home and it was great to chill our drinks for the following day as the temperatures were 35-40 degrees celsius when we visited. Our room was perfect for a family with the whole attic floor divided into two bedrooms with a bathroom between them. Our bedroom had a large double and the children's rooms had 3 separate single beds.
Whilst the breakfast was plentiful (pain au chocolate, croissant, fruit, preserves) and high quality (including a boiled egg from the hostess' free range hens) it was all sweet offerings. At other hotels on our holiday we were given cheese and/or cooked meat too; although I appreciate that is only because I am British that I only really like savoury items for breakfast.

The breakfast was delicious, with lots of local produce, including fresh apple juice and jams infused with herbs from the garden, and quite possibly the best baguettes and croissants we have ever had. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable.
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, especially the beautiful dog Poppy. Our children fell in love with her immediately and were so sad to say goodbye to her. For our girls, Poppy was the highlight of our three weeks in France!
There is nothing that could have made our stay better other than if we'd been able to stay longer! We hope to visit again, one day.

Very welcoming host who speaks English well, beautifully decorated spacious rooms, fantastic breakfast with freshly laid eggs, well converted cellar space for eating and relaxation and outside space too.
the house is slightly off the beaten track ( up a cycleable hill) with no restaurants in the hamlet but our host warned us of this in advance and we were able to prepare our own meal in the cellar area.

A beautifully maintained house in the Loire Valley region, with big rooms and good amenities. The host couldn’t have done more to make our stay comfortable.

We loved to stay with Marie who is a very nice and courteous host (and serving a very good and varying breakfast). The house is furnished with love and style. Good starting point for sightseeing in the Anjou and beyond. An excellent place to have holiday even if the Internet connectivity is still varying (which may be not the worst for having holidays).

We loved everything about that very special place. The house, the rooms and the surrounding are very beautiful and it shows that Marie has an eye for the details. The atmosphere is calm and we felt very relaxed from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was very delicious and consists of many fresh and regional products rather homemade or organic. Marie is a very gentle and welcoming host and is always there for answering questions or giving recommendations. For sure we will be back some day.
