Las instalaciones están en excelentes condiciones, las toallas y las camas muy limpias y los encargados de recepción siempre están atentos para lo que se necesite. Buena ubicación del lugar.

I just felt that it should have more bathrooms.

The central location of the hostel is very convenient and allowed me to walk to almost all locations I wanted to go. Also the communication provided by text message during my stay was very helpful. However, the forthcoming of the staff made the stay fantastic.

The rooms can become quite noise during the night. This is however the nature of a hostel and should not affect the choice for this hostel.

Realmente no me gusta alojarme en hostales, pero este lugar realmente ha superado mis expectativas, tiene privacidad, las instalaciones son realmente bonitas. He disfrutado de mi estancia y sin duda volvería. habitaciones y zonas comunes estaban muy limpias y amuebladas muy bonitas y nuevas. El personal fue excepcionalmente servicial y agradable. El Locker también era grande y espacioso, y hay una tienda de comestibles justo en la calle de al lado.

There curtained off beds works well, there’s plenty of storage and space in the rooms and kitchen.

I can see it’s got great reviews so maybe I’m just fussy but the vibe was a bit weird. There’s loads of people who seem to live there permanently so it’s not a normal travellers hostel. Felt a bit like I was intruding.

It was very good, I would stay here again.

Got woken up at 3am because the other people beside my bed were having a go at it.

I really enjoyed my stay here. First time in San Diego for a 5 day conference and I couldn’t have been more impressed and comfortable with the hostel. Definitely exceeded expectations and hands down will love to stay again without second guessing. Super clean, perfect privacy, everything you may need and more, very helpful and welcoming staff. Carlos even helped with my bags and answered any questions that I had. He even helped me send off some extremely important documents needed back on the East Coast. Great atmosphere of people coming and going. Most importantly, I felt safe and well respected as a woman traveling alone. Will highly recommend and can’t wait to see y’all again!

the rooms where spacious, bathrooms even tho they were shared were super clean and spacious. the bed was big and comfy and because of the curtain there was privacy and there aren't bunk beds so I loved that!

lockers were small and separate from your bed.

If you bring food you can place them into the fridge and food storage, if you find space for it.

The entrance has has lots of flying bugs, so close your moth when get in and out the building.

It's my second time staying at Stay Classy. It is great as usual. Staffs are attentive and me and my daughter had a great time here.

I woke up 2am loud people talking.. and next guest snoring so loud next bed.

Very clean, well maintained, nice light blocking room divider and small private area. Showers and bathroom were very nice and kept clean and tidy. Staff was helpful and friendly.

In retrospect, I wasn’t that comfortable in a mixed gender dorm and I probably should have found somewhere else to stay. One guest was quite inconsiderate, playing videos at midnight and an alarm that repeatedly went off at 5 am and no one (including me) felt comfortable enough in the situation to ask them to stop. The women’s bathroom has some kind of drain issue that leaves it very smelly even though it is clean.

Really clean super comfy. All you would need from an hostel you get in there. Nothing to complain about. I like the concept of the rooms and how they arrenge the beds in the rooms. Double thumbs up.

I liked the friendly check in by Christopher upon my arrival. He was thorough and present to answer any of my questions. Carlos and the other staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the showers, the salon, the upstairs work/relaxing area without the noise of the TV, and the ability to do my laundry. The kitchen was well organized and the personal cubbies and lockers were super organized and made me feel like I had my own personal space in a common area. I loved being able to meet and visit with fellow travelers and long stay folks. This gave the location a more intimate feel than a large stuffy hotel. I would totally stay here again because my experience was so good. I enjoyed the fact I could easily walk to the grocery store across the street where there is an ATM, restaurants nearby, or catch an Uber if needed.

I really did not like the fact the smokers go outside and smoke on the street right in front of the Stay Classy building and this lets all the nasty smoke hang out in the hallway in front of the entrance door. I do not smoke and this was awful to have to walk through this stagnate smoke fulled hallway to get to enter the facility. (This was not so classy.)
