Our family had a wonderful time staying here this past week! It was a short walk to town and easy to get to the beach, and also a wooded oasis for times when we just wanted to enjoy sitting on the porch. The house has everything you need for a family trip to Ogunquit, from beach supplies to board games to beach supplies and our kids loved it!

We had such a wonderful vacation. Plenty of room to spread out. Walk to town. Went to Portland for dinner at our favorite little place J’s oyster bar. Got there in no time. The beach in Ogunquit is probably one of the best there is for families. Walk to town in 5 minutes so everyone got to go and do their own thing if they wanted to. Rainy day we went to the Kittery outlets. So never bored at this location…I would definitely rent here again.

We loved staying here! We were so close to town and the beach but the house was in such a peaceful spot. There was plenty of room for us to hang out and still have our own private space. We look forward to coming back in the future.

The house is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The proximity to the town and beach is ideal. It allows for just enough walking for any age. The porches were amazing and the house had all of the amenities one could need. The hosts left a thoughtful gift for us when we arrived. The house and its owners are a class act!

Spent a week at the house with our family, really enjoyed the space. We had both my wife’s and my family staying with us and the size and set up of the house was perfect. Especially enjoyed the outdoor space and the all seasons porches. Eric was also very responsive when we needed to reach out. Overall the trip was exactly what we needed.

Our stay was very relaxing and comfortable. It’s a nice neighborhood within walking distance to the beach. We especially enjoyed our coffee on the front porch !

Great family vacation! Beautiful, comfortable bedrooms, updated kitchens, and 2 wonderful screened in porches. Our children loved the property as well. David and Kimberly were very gracious, responsive, and helpful!

Spacious, clean two story house w two sun porches and a well kept lawn. There is a bunch of maybe 15 wild turkeys that parade thru the yard! Very cute. David was very good about responding positively and quickly to an issue we had. Nice neighborhood. Thanks David and Kimberley !

We enjoyed our week at the Highland Avenue property. There were 7 adults and two toddlers and we felt very comfortable with the amount of space in the house. Easy to walk to town and to the beach, although we did park at the beach most days. Get to the beach early for parking ($30.00 per day). Lots of restaurants and shops nearby to explore. House was very clean and nicely furnished. We had everything we needed.

We stayed here with another family for the 4th of July week and had a wonderful experience. We were two families with a 2 year old, 3 year old and 4 year old between us. The layout of the house worked great with two separate but linked living spaces so we could be together when wanted or have privacy when we wanted. Over the course of the week, we found ourselves using and enjoying every separate area, whether it be the upstairs living room, downstairs living room, porch, etc. The house was also MUCH larger than we expected and provided plenty of inside space for playing and relaxing. Having the two kitchens was also surprisingly helpful...we used the top floor one for breakfast and eating in, and the downstairs one for drinks and barbecuing. The backyard was also great for the little ones. It is a straight walk out from one of the enclosed porches, so no need to worry about the kids going up and down deck stairs. It is nicely secluded and the perfect size for the kids to run around while we barbecued without us having to worry too much about them. In terms of location, we couldn't have asked for anything better. The house is on a very quiet, dead end street that eventually meets a somewhat busier street with a sidewalk. We walked to the beach every day (~3/4 of a mile) and were only a couple of minutes to the center of the town (~1/3 of a mile) with plenty of restaurants, shops and cafes from which to choose as well as the trolley stop for going further out. The 2 and 3 year olds were pushed in strollers, but our 4 year old could do the distance on his scooter with no problem. We have traveled with our kids all over the world and Ogunquit Beach is easily the most child-friendly beach to go to. The sand stretches for ages before actually hitting the ocean with plenty of shallow "water holes" as we called them in between for the kids to play in. This meant we could stake out our spot far from the ocean and barely have to worry about the kids as they played in the sand because there was no risk of them getting close to the waves. We stopped to visit family in Cape Cod on our way back from Maine and the difference in terms of walk-ability and beach safety for young children is striking. We will definitely be coming back to Ogunquit in the future! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We highly recommend this house! The accommodations were spacious and lovely, offering lots of room for a large gathering of family and friends. Plenty of common space as well as privacy when needed. The house was very clean and well maintained. The owner was extremely responsive and made us feel like a personal guest. The owner was flexible and accessible for any questions we had both before and during our trip. The house is situated on a quiet street, an easy walk to town and beach. It is perfectly positioned to allow quiet time if desired, but also easy access to town for restaurants and activities. We did not get in our car once during the trip! We will definitely return to this house and highly recommend it to anyone. It's a leap of faith when renting on-line -- this property is well-worth the leap!

We loved the walks to the beach and town. Cooked many meals indoors and out. The perfect weather helped make the perfect vacation. The house is very well situated to accommodate families who want to be near each other but not in each others way. We will be back again next year!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The house is very clean, and owner provided a second week of cleaning since we stayed two weeks. We loved being able to walk to town for lunch or dinner without parking issues. We enjoyed our stay, and having separate units worked out great for us when family stayed overnight. Overall, it was a great vacation rental.

All the comforts of home....clean, comfortable, cared for! Our week at this home was terrific! We were able to get where we wanted to go quite easily...beach and downtown! Nice quite street, loved relaxing on the front porch. Would certainly recommend this home for a family vacation!

We really enjoyed or stay at the cottage! It is surprisingly spacious, upstairs and down (the "owner's unit" downstairs was a huge bonus. It was useful to have a second kitchen. Both porches were lovely and relaxing. It is a five-minute stroll to the heart of town, so the location is ideal. The owners were very responsive when we hit minor glitches, which were solved almost on the spot. We would definitely stay here again.

Couldn't have asked for a better rental. House is in amazing condition and well kept. Dave and Kim are the nicest people, super accommodating. Favorite feature was the fire pit for late night hang outs and s'mores. 10 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

We have stayed in OGT seven times and this will be the place we come back to. Daughter and family visited for the weekend and house was large enough for all of us.loved the fire pit and easy walking distance from town, even for the four year old. Also walked to the beach. House is close in yet on a quiet street. Updated, clean and comfortable--perfect!

This is our 8th summer and the 6th house we have rented and I have to say this was the best! The house is well cared for, comfortable and that screen porch downstairs is complete heaven! The walk to town and to the beach was easy. We walked from the house down the Marginal Way to Perkins Cove with 5 boys ages 6-13 and not one of them complained of the walk. There is everything you will ever need while on vacation. Mike was great to work with and made us feel right at home. We will certainly be back!

My family has been traveling to Ogunquit for about 20 years now, always renting various properties in the area. This home was perfect for our family. We have 5 children ranging from 3 years-24. The home was clean and had everything you could possibly want. It was like being at home. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house was short walk to down town or the beach. Bonus was had amazing weather for our stay. We are planning to stay here again next year. Thank you Mike and Lisa for sharing your amazing home

Had a great week at this home with plenty of room and amenities for my spouse and I, and for our adult children and grandchild. A close walk to Ogunquit center and the beaches. We plan to return next summer!
