Jason is a great host! House was clean and was nice. Responds quick and has everything you need. Great location. It is very close to the lake and 15 min away from the city in case you need something. Will definitely come back!

Great Stay, Great Value

Property was in great condition and the owner is very communicative. Always put our needs first and very friendly. Absolutely nothing negative to say. The property location is amazing and beautiful. Nothing but green and trees with an awesome front deck. I put my disc cooker out there and thats where I was cooking. Plenty of amenities. The community is gorgeous and very friendly neighbors. My dogs loved running around the front yard and my daughter just wanted to be outside the whole time. If you are towing a boat or trailer this driveway has ample room. The owner is very detailed from the beginning and following his advice about bringing the boat in makes it a breeze. We will definitely be looking for this property being available on our future stays. Good house and host, that's all you can ask for.

Family trip and everyone really enjoyed it. Great location and property. House was plenty big enough for all 9 of us and 4 dogs. We will definitely be back

My daughter and a few friends plus parents and some family had a birthday dinner and cake. The majority of the guests traveled home while 6 of us stayed the night. The property was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable for a small gathering. Many of our guests for dinner asked for the details of the property for their future needs!

We had an enjoyable couple of days at this house and in Pottsboro. Great quiet area and natural things to explore.

We spent a lot of time on the decks grilling and hanging out. Plenty of room for my large family. The weather was great and I appreciated the quick responses from Jason whenever I had a question.

An incredibly nice property. Wonderful place to gather and stay overnight. Briefly spoke to the host and he was very kind. We enjoyed staying and many of our group wanted to come back in the future.

The property location is beautiful, the house is pretty neat although not very clean. Our stay overall was a good one. The 3 star rating is actually generous considering our experience after our stay. This reservation came with a mandatory travel insurance protection plan, and we had not left the property 2 hours when I got a notification from VRBO stating there had been a claim on my insurance. I reached out to the owner and asked if there was an issue and he proceeded to tell me we had broken all 3 pull-out couches and that they were beyond repair and would have to be replaced. Communication happened; me explaining that they weren't in good shape to begin with and we hadn't been able to use all 3 to sleep on becauseof their condition, him telling me he couldn't put them back together, me telling him we hadn't put enough weight on them to cause any damage (no rough handling, etc.), him replying with "things happen" followed by a smiley face. I'm putting this on here because I know something like this will affect my booking on VRBO in the future and it genuinely upset me that this happened. I'd hate for anyone else to be affected by a situation like this.

Just needed a comfortable safe place to stay before my sons high school fishing tournament. Plenty of room for the boat and 3 people.

It was overall good. The house is beautiful and the location is great! Everyone slept comfortably. 😊 However, when we were notified the day before our arrival of the broken dishwasher, it would have been nice to have been offered some sort of compensation since one of the amenities we paid for was no longer available to us. My wife informed the owner that we would be eating all our meals at the cabin and therefore made (what is to us) a reasonable request for some sort of small reimbursement/compensation for the inconvenience. Rather than offering some kindness and understanding or a helpful solution to the problem, he was curt and unhelpful. His response was, “things break” and “feel free to cancel.” It was pretty disappointing and if we’d had more time - we’d have canceled and found an alternative place.

Jason was a great host - responded quickly to our questions. We suggested that some basic literature for guests be made available at the house to advise what there is to do in the area (ie restaurants, points of interest, lake maps). Overall had a great time with family.

Stayed here with my two sons to celebrate one's high school graduation. Great decks for sitting outside and enjoy the natural surroundings, good, clean grill, comfortable beds and easy process to rent/check-in. Everything we were hoping for.

The barrel house is a uniquely built house. Rental and owner communication was easy and great with no issues. House was very accommodating for 5 guys. Will recommend to others.

Pictures online aren’t accurate; house is updated nicely just needs small details fixed in kitchen and other small details in the house. Overall a great location near the lake and small convenient stores are also close by!

The property was well kept and exactly as depicted online. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. The house had a wonderful wrap around deck that provided lots of room to just hang out with friends!

Great weekend getaway for the guys, place could use some minor TLC (Broken draws, dull knives, pocket doors not staying closed...etc.) but for overall was all we needed in place to stay on long fishing weekend.

We had a lot of fun staying a few nights here. Our teenagers appreciated having their own rooms with lots of space and multiple porches to spread out. The themed decorations are run and the owner was very responsive.
