The house was nice. Loved the native carvings on the bed. Hot tub was great. We were surprised someone lived upstairs. The Delong coffee/espresso maker didn’t work but they had a French press so our morning coffee was saved. Two showers had curtains 2 inches too short so water got all over the floor. And there was no shampoo or conditioner and a tiny bar of soap so we had to do a shop right away. Other than that it was a nice place to hang out in between adventures. Beds were nice. Great cooking supplies.

This could be a lovely property but needs some TLC. The pictures on line are old and do not reflect the condition of the house. Main bathroom/master was a spa bath but not useable and so old the cleanliness was suspect. The two other shower bathrooms the shower curtains did not reach floor, sink was so slow draining. Blind broken in one bedroom and mouldy. Sitting room/ dining room/ kitchen nice but again very tired.

Wonderful location and fantastic views from the house. Tofino is magic! Our only suggestions would be to provide basic shampoo and conditioner for guests and replace the glass on the stove in the sauna. We enjoyed our stay!

It was my first time staying at Cedarview. I had high expectations due to all the good reviews and its features such as hot tup, fire place, and sauna. However, I was not able to use any of the above during my stay. I personally think this could have been better if this was communicated. Before the trip, I had couple of questions to ask so I contacted the host. They replied a day after saying that I am not booked for the days I booked two months before I asked the question. I had to reply back with my booking info and, luckily, they found my booking and replied back with an answer, a day later. I had couple more important questions but the reply was always late and I asked to provide a check in instruction and reply was "it should've been provided with booking. I'll send it again." True, eventually found the old email, but the email he said he will provide again is still not in my in box. Mostly importantly, the place is advertised with all the great features, none of which we could use. If there are local restrictions during the stay that is impacting what you are selling your rentals for, let your customers know in advance so that we can make a better decision on choosing where to stay. It almost feels that we got scammed and never got our money's worth. Like I mentioned in the beginning of the review, all these could've been resolved before the stay, just with a better communication and maybe some transperancy. But that maybe might be too much to ask.

We were joined by 2 other couples for our stay It was perfect. It is a beautiful setting. The amenities were great. The location remarkably private. We all rave about that part of our trip

Beautiful location.

Property was beautiful - amazing view, great to have hot tub, sauna and fire pit. The house is walking distance to Chesterman beach (no need to pay for parking). Every bedroom had it's own bathroom with shower which was a nice bonus, however, surprised there wasn't any shampoo or conditioner, only a small bar of face soap (the kind in hotels). Not a big deal though, the house is worth it.

Beautiful place spectacular views comfortable comfortable accommodation . A place to contemplate and a place to reset. Quiet, secluded, and perfectly located to the town of Tofino and the beaches surrounding. An absolute perfect family memory. Thank you so much!

This is my third time renting this property and it won’t be the last - the location is so peaceful and yet close enough to Tofino to be so convenient! Love that the new pathway through Pacific Rim is so close - almost all the way to Ucluelet! Great rental.

Had a great week with our adult kids and my father-in-law catching up, trying our hand at surfing, and eating fantastic meals. The house was perfect for the 5 of us.

We stayed here 6 years ago and loved the property. Unfortunately there was a fire ban so we could not use the fir pit which is usually one of our highlights coming from Cayman Islands. Great views, open concept easy kitchen to cook in. The price is appropriate for what you get.

Enjoyed our stay at this house. Great location close to the beach. Loved the hot tub! They were a bit light on towels and dishes and had no blue tooth speaker/stereo, but otherwise the place was great!

We would most definitely stay at this property again. Was enough room for all 6 of us, great wrap around deck to hangout on, secluded but still in walking distance to the beach. All positive experiences except the BBQ wasn’t in the best working order therefore we didn’t use it. Good times, Good friends, Good food. WEST COAST - BEST COAST 😀.

Fantastic holiday, beautiful house in a great location! We would have preferred x2 singles in place of one of the doubles ; as children didn't want to share a bed one of them slept on the sofa. Thanks for a great vacation!

This was just what we needed! Easy access to the beach (took me 4 minutes to walk!), on a quiet street for kids to play, on the multi-use trail if you want to walk/bike, short drive to town. We really enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the sound: private, well maintained, definitely a highlight. Overall the house was nice and clean and as described in the listing. The kitchen supplies/equipment were pretty basic- we cooked quite a bit and had to improv without a few tools - but functional. Thanks for having us! We hope to be back!

Great house! Love the boardwalk out to the hot tub and sauna. The view is great, and it’s very conveniently located near Chesterman. The bed’s are a bit on the firm side, but not to the point where we lost sleep. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay with friends, it's all one level which is nice. Great view and amazing property right on the inlet side of Tofino. The hot tub was lovely, unfortunately there was no dry firewood for the sauna as we were quite excited to use. I would absolutely book this property again, however advise future guests to bring blankets as we could not locate any, although the heating system within the home worked very well. Great kitchen and living room! The bedrooms were clean and organized, and if you like a firm mattress then you're in luck. Overall great rental!

We enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised how close the house is to Chesterman. A quick 3-4 minute walk.

Stayed November 1 to 5 2021. We were a group of 6 ranging in age from 3 months to 75 years. The house is beautifully appointed and the location is secluded and breath taking. The kitchen really does have all the gadgets you need. For the most part we absolutely enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again. The only things we observed that we felt could have been better were that the beds are hard, we all have firm beds at home but after 2 nights in these beds we all had aches and pains. While it appeared that there were boxes of aluminium foil, coffee filters, and cling wrap the boxes themselves were empty. The owner was there for half of our stay - we didnt encounter him but the stay was not entirely private. On the whole we had a wonderful time, booking and check in was easy and the management company was helpful and responsive.
