Comfortable with many amenities. The house was very clean. I did do a lot of cooking and the kitchen was well supplied with everything I needed. We would stay here again.

We had a WONDERFUL time on vacation! Fairfield Harbor is a great community that offers something for every age group. My kids range in age from almost 17-4, and they all had a great time! Fairfield Harbor has a golf course, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, mini golf, pickle ball, basketball, 2 playgrounds and much more! The house was as pictured, was very clean, and Jacqueline was very prompt to respond to my questions. We definitely would return!

The house was in a nice location and was so clean and well stocked. It was a beautiful home. It had plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy the scenery too. Loved it!

Overall property was amazing our kids loved fishing from the back yard. We all had plenty of room, the house was stocked with everything you could possibly need including board games. The host were very responsive and were great to work with.

While the property is gorgeous, clean and located in a quiet and friendly community - it's the attention to every little detail that made our stay exceptional! Delightful signs with instructions for anything that could possibly come up during our stay and wifi password. Swift and friendly communication with the host. Beautiful view of the dock and large living spaces and decks. From excellent water pressure in the showers to a kitchen fully stocked with everything (but the food) to enjoy a meal with family and friends, this place was better than staying in a hotel! We're already planning our next stay.

Absolutely everything is thought of for the best trouble free stay. The communications with this very gracious host was flawless and will rate overall 10 out of 10.

The home was roomy and clean. All the little details were considered including provided games and toiletries. Back yard leads to private dock for your boat. Everyone loved the house and enjoyed their stay. We even got to access the clubhouse, and some enjoyed the indoor heated pool on a chilly day and mini golf. The host was very polite and ensured all are requests were fulfilled. We definitely would stay again.

From our first look at the pictures of this house to the final contact with Jacquie, my friends and I were very impressed! The house was exactly as described and seen in pictures. Jacquie is the quintessential hostess - every light switch, cupboard and drawer was labeled for our ease in finding things. There was a basketful of snacks left for us to enjoy. There were night lights in almost every room and each closet was fully stocked with hangars. It may sound trivial but these were the attentions to detail that put the icing on the cake for us. Thank you so much Jacquie! We hope to return again!!

House was spacious, clean, kitchen was well organized with labels on cabinets and drawers and right on a canal. Loved having our morning coffee sitting out back enjoying the water. Days were spent golfing, taking advantage of the community pool and day trips to Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle. At night we took advantage of the great restaurants in downtown New Bern. House has a great location and we will be back!!

Lovely immaculate home exactly as described. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. The layout of the house was perfect for our family of 9. Loved having all the kitchen cabinets labeled.

We really enjoyed our time at drakes cove in New Bern. Great location to take in the city, eateries and Harkers Island. Plenty of room for our large group with areas to separate when we needed the space. Very clean and well stocked!

This was a very clean and comfortable property with plenty of room to spread out. What a joy to sit out on the back deck for a morning sip of coffee or an afternoon of relaxation. We were happy with the location because of a great golf course right across the entrance. But a comfortable distance from the heart of New Bern. Jacqueline was easy to communicate with and responded to any questions we had immediately. We would definitely plan to stay here again.

We went to New Bern to celebrate a family birthday. Drake's Cove was the perfect house for us! The back yard provided a beautiful view while enjoying happy hours and corn hole. It has plenty of seating for great gatherings outside. The large deck was perfect for easy access and great views :=) The house is nicely equipped with spacious bedrooms (we had 6) and a great family room / eating area. The huge table was perfect for game playing. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need to include a great variety of snacks. The location was great to get to New Bern and other area attractions. Jacquie was a fantastic host to work with, she replied very quickly to any questions I had prior to arrival. I would highly recommend Drake's Cove and Jacquie, it was the perfect accomodation for us.

This property was exactly as posted. The home was beautiful, clean, and perfect. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Mrs. Jacquie was so accommodating and quick to respond. Perfect getaway and will definitely stay there again.

Nice and roomy

Love this place. Simple and clean. Absolutely beautiful views and great neighborhood for walks and just feeling safe and sound. Our hostess was super fast to respond to a few simple requests. And such a good amount of space to spread out. Also love all the games in the game room. Well organized kitchen and every light switch is labeled. And every kitchen drawer and cabinet. I want my house to be like this!!

This home was perfect for our needs. It was super clean, spacious and well stocked. The only issue we had was that the corner where the house is located is a bit dark and since we arrived in the late evening, it was hard to see the house. Once, we knew what we were looking for, we had no subsequent issues. Jacquline is a great host, very accommodating, and excellent communication skills. I would highly recommend her home!

Jacquie, my wife and I would like to thank you so much for allowing us to rent your house. It was just perfect for our children's families who were visiting us for a family reunion at Thanksgiving. Everything they needed was there, and the house was spotless. The location could not have been more convenient. Our grandchilren really enjoyed the large yard. The house is beautiful inside with a great view of the boats and surrounding area. The kitchen is large, well equiped, and totally organized with identification of what is in the drawers and cabinets making it super easy to find everything. The common living areas are large and very comfortable. It is kind of like living in an upscale resort area at a very resonable price. Jacquie was very resonsive both during the booking process as well as duing the rental period answering all our questions and making the check-in and check- out process super easy. We would rent the Pelican house again in a heartbeat. Thanks again, Tom and Laure

Drakes Cove was absolutely perfect for our stay in New Bern for our sons wedding. Beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood. Plenty of room for everyone, and the kids really enjoyed the games. The house was very clean, plenty of towels, and everything was labeled. That was a huge help. I highly recommend Drakes Cove for anyone looking for a home to accommodate a large group. Oh and they recycle which I really appreciated! Five stars!

We only a short stay. Jacqueline was very accommodating. The house is very pleasant in a quiet neighborhood with lots of room. No guess work where anything is. We are planning another trip in two years( a longer stay though) I will definitely rent this house again. Thank you Jacqueline

House was very clean, well organized and exactly as posted. Jacquie was very responsive and helpful with any questions. Having a big space to relax in for our group of 8 spanning 4 generations ago as a key factor for us as well.

It was rainy week but we loved the property. The access to the fitness center, pools, etc. was a great addition. Really appreciated the access to Disney+ provided and the kitchen was well stocked with pans. We also appreciated the snacks, games, and other items to get our trip started off with a bang!
