The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly, offering valuable local insights. They thoughtfully prepared the jacuzzi for us in time to enjoy a breathtaking sunset view. To top off our experience, we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary chocolate and sparkling wine.

Hotel Lago is a new building, located perfectly on the water with a beach only few meters away. The balcony equipped with sunlounges and some with jacuzzi spa was perfect place to enjoy the stunning view over Ohrid Lake and the sunset. From the arrival and until our last day of stay, the staff and management at Lago Hotel made us feel very special. They even had a lovely surprise for me. When I and my husband entered the restaurant in the morning, the owner of the Hotel Mr Vladimir Aluloski greeted me with a box of chocolates and a bottle of Champaine. It was my birthday. The lady in the kitchen was so kind. It wasn't difficult for her, every morning to make my favorite coffee that was not on the menu. When I thank them, I recall the words of one of the staff saying to me: "We are all like a big family here."If you need something, just let us know. We are here for you. "And it happened that my laptop charger cabel was not in my bag when I needed it the most. Not only that a link from the shop in Ohrid I could buy the cable at was sent to my mobile, but even a taxi was called for me to travel to the shop. Macedonian people and their hospitality was on display in the best light-from the owner of the hotel and the receptionist with a friendly smile to the cleaning staff who was responsible for the immaculately cleaned rooms and bathrooms.

Very nice location if you want to be away from the world and near nature. Best surroundings and very near to the lake sitting area. Enjoyed the sunrise and sunset at the lake.

Location is great as the hotel is very close to the beach. It is easy to find (right off the main road). Towels were changed every day. The hotel has a beach where you can use their sunbeds and lazybags (they are included in the price). SUP boards were also available for renting. Beach staff was kind and helpful.

Breakfast was ok, but the coffee was not that good. Also, the hotel area is still in construction, but this was not a big problem for us, as it's still a new hotel.

The stay was wonderful. They have a private beach.The stuff is super polite. Rooms are clean. Very good breakfast table. I recommend this place.

The service level of the hotel is amazing! They're so sweet and helpful. The hotel itself is likewise amazing. View is great, directly to lake and breakfast is also very good. There's alot of parkering available even though I stayed peak season. Ohrid center is like 10 minutes away with car, which is nice for evening activities. I will be back here, that's for sure!

No words can describe our stay at Lago Hotel. Staff were incredibly nice, the service was amazing and everyone always had a smile on their face.

Very friendly and professional owners with good tips about sightseeing. Nice location outside of busy Ohrid area. Clean rooms, tasty breakfast and close to the beach. An ambitious project with a brand new hotel which still in progress, will be great when completed.

This hotel is an absolute gem! It’s very new and has been done out really nicely (modern, fresh, clean). The reception staff were extremely kind and up for a chat which was nice, and the breakfast was good. It overlooks a little beach which is pretty much private with some piers to jump off into the lake. The hotel was still undergoing some renovations but when the spa/pool is finished this will be amazing!

The road outside has cars going quite fast but this didn’t bother us much.

The hotel is newly builded. Everything was nice and comfy. Breakfast was delicious.

Bar and restaurant could be more convenient.

Pool opens next year and many facilities weren’t ready as season starts in July. The private beach is lovely but needs some maintenance

Excellent hotel, everything brand new and beautiful. It's visible that the owner appreciates quality and has good taste. We liked the hotel so much that we decided to change our trip plans and stay for another night. Our host Hristijan was very attentive and helpful. Great location too, the lake was just across the road.

Absolutely the best hotel I've ever been privileged enough to stay at and probably the newest one in Ohrid. High quality rooms, clean and spacious. Stunning location located directly lakefront with amazing uninterrupted views of the lake. Staff was beyond helpful and made our stay amazing. Thank you for everything, will get back soon.

Our room was really clean and spacious, the Jacuzzi was very clean and functioned perfectly. The rooms have a great view of the lake and you can witness the best sunsets ever. The staff gave us a lot of local food and drinks as compliments to our stay free of charge. They also sent us a detailed list of the local attractions and best places to get food. Parking was widely available. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would visit again myself.

Beautiful new hotel with very kind and friendly owners and staff. They gave us great recommendations what to visit and been always there to help! Very good location with lake just accros the street. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Rooms were cleaned every day. I would definetly go back to this hotel!
